Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I just have to say I was in a dark place last week leading up to my anatomy scan. I just had a horrible feeling that something was wrong. This week is a complete turn around from that. I'm just so happy that I'm not in that place anymore.
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? We have our name picked. She is Josephine Elizabeth. We have had a list of 5 girls names for awhile and we just kept coming back to Josephine. Plus my 5 year old likes it. She was the deciding vote.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
@awoodruff27 Aw I love it! I'm slightly biased though since my favorite grandma is a Josephine and my little niece's middle name is Josephine (in honor of my grandma). I like Elizabeth too. It was on the "maybe" list for a girl for my husband and I also. But baby is a boy so now we're working on coming up with some boy names. I think Josephine Elizabeth is such a pretty, timeless name.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm feeling SUPER nervous about the anatomy scan this week. I just feel like even though we've come this far, something is going to be wrong. I really hope not. PGAL brain is the worst.
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? We decided on Margaret Mae. Neither are family names, we just loved the way they sound together!
First time posting in the June '17 PGAL check in? Welcome! Please Introduce yourself.
How far along are you? 20+2
How are you doing? Pretty well... I'm getting the occasional dizzy spell and some shortness of breath, but I'm able to calm back down pretty quickly the majority of the time.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Anatomy scan on the 9th... feeling her move more frequently. Basically ditto from last week lol
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I really can't think of anything
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? we have decided on Victoria Rose. Victoria was just one that we both really loved, and Rose is after my maternal grandmother.
Ok. I'm moodier and I think I'm worried more than I was with my last PGAL pregnancy. I don't know if it's because we're having a girl this time or because of my MC between the two. I'm hoping that once I can feel her move more this will get easier. I just find myself going to dark places frequently.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to?
AS on the 11th.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
A lot of major life decisions are hanging in the air right now and I'm pretty sure they'll all try to resolve around June. I'd just like to be able to settle some of them sooner.
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love?
We're pretty set on Margaret Claire. We'll call her Molly. We both really liked Molly as a nn, but didn't want it to be the full name, so we looked up what it could be short for. Neither is a family name as far as I know. Our families are both so huge, I didn't want to start the spat of who was insulted because we named the kid after someone else.
@NamelessAria thanks! Elizabeth has been a name that DH has pushed for the last two times. I figured that since it's our last and another girl I'd let him have a win. Haha. It's not my favorite name, but it's growing on me
I love all our names so far! All of them were on our list so we have the same taste and that's awesome. Most of my family are into super trendy names so it's impossible to get real opinions from them.
@BellaO21 I have a friend named Victoria and she goes by Tori and I think that's super cute.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
Sending good vibes to all of you with anatomy scans coming up!!
How far along are you? 20+6
How are you doing? Doing well. I went on a mexican food and chocolate binge Wednesday through Sunday, so I'm trying to get a handle on my eating this week. Other than that, I have been feeling LO even more, which is always reassuring and such an awesome feeling.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Not until late Feb.
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Just excited that it's already the end of January, and we are one month closer to meeting our babies.
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? We have agreed on Eva. Middle name Claire or Rose. It wasn't initially on either of our lists, but I thought it was a super cute and classic name and then found that it means "life." Not sure if any of you remember our rough beginning to this pregnancy (told we were 95% certainly miscarrying again to go back and see her little heart beating away 10 days later.) So I just fell in love with the name and luckily DH loves it too. We think it is perfect for her.
How far along are you? 19+3 today How are you doing? I'm doing a little better today. This weekend was rough at work. There was a demise and she was due the day before me so that had me in a very bad place. Todays appointment went well so that helped. Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? We had our A/S today! Baby looked great. My placenta is a little lower than my OB would like so they're going to do another US at 28 weeks. I'm excited for more pictures but it's just one more thing to think about. I haven't shown any symptoms of issues and she isn't too terribly concerned, just wants to keep an eye on things so I'm trying to not worry about it. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm just very thankful for a good anatomy scan. That scan is terrifying to me. I love it but leading up to it I always think of the million things that they could find wrong. GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? Oh man, DH and I are so opposite on names. We can never agree on them to save our lives. My personal favorites that I'm pushing for are Everly Jo for a girl and Beckett Harvey for boy. Jo is both my MN and my mom's MN so I just always assumed I'd use it if I had a daughter myself. Harvey is DH's grandpa's name.
If anyone saw my post about not being able to breathe...not so great haha! I think I'm having a little panic situation and I need to get that under control. I'm not used to the feeling of not being able to catch a good breath and it freaks me out and makes it worse. Hearing from you ladies helped though and I've slowly gotten better today.
2nd anatomy scan on the 9th!
My husband is not into picking names. He's a data analyst IRL so picking names seems unproductive to him since we have awhile to figure things out. I have a running list of mostly feminine, vintage-y "E" names that I like and Evelyn Grace or Eloise Grace are my front runners. My son was named on the fly at an In and Out Burger while we waited for our hospital bands (he was adopted) so having months to figure it out is new to us!
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? End of Feb, regular check up
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm just hoping to get out of this "is she fat, is she pregnant stage"
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? DH wants to name our child Angel after his grandfather which I am okay with but not totally sold on. No middle names yet. It's a little harder this time around.
@awoodruff27 I might have said this already but I have a Josephine! We get a lot of compliments and it is not common at all around here. Her middle name is Ann. So, I love your name choice! One thing I never thought about with calling her Josie is that some people say Jo-see and some say Jo-zee. I actually don't mind it either way but the conversation has come up many times and friends have told me that if it were them, it would drive them nuts if people said it differently than they preferred.
Also, I am totally feeling you on the turn around from A/S. I went in thinking I was surely getting bad news (for no good reason) and thank God I was wrong so now I am finally feeling like I can relax.

what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? We keep tossing some names around but don't have a favorite we both love yet. I am weird though and my first two start with a K and a C so I want to keep that sound for the next one which is limiting my choices. Obviously if I find something I love with a different letter it won't be a deal breaker, but right now I am focusing on K and C names. The middle name is where we incorporate family. My son is named after my husband (middle name) and my daughter one of my sisters.

I pove the name Luna its also one of my favorite characters in harry potter, raven is from xmen so the superhero theme and so happens luna was a ravenclaw.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: The tech said I have a curved/folded cervix. I keep trying to research what that means for pregnancy, but I haven't found much yet. All results always start talking about how it could make getting pregnant more difficult. To be fair I haven't had a ton of time to look into it, so that's probably what I'll be doing this weekend (and of course talking to my doctor about it during my next appointment).
GTKY: How's it going picking a baby name? If you have some names on the list what inspired them? Are they families names or just names you love? We have a long list going! I've always LOVED the name Amelia. But it's become pretty trendy over the past few years and I'm not comfortable with a top 20 name. My name is not super common and I always liked that it was uncommon because it stands out to people when you introduce yourself (but it's not crazy unique, it's an actual name). This pregnancy I found the name Eliana, and fell in love with it...But it's really similar to two other little girls in my family who are both under 5 and I don't know if that would be weird. Nothing else has felt as good as either of those names to us, so the list keeps growing!
