negative opk this morning. Having a defeatist attitude. I oed on cd 13 last cycle and the cycle I got ku. In my head there is something obviously wrong. 

Had a lovely bday weekend. Pretty much ate the whole weekend. Dh took me to improv and then a Korean restaurant. Sunday morning we had a brunch of dim sum 

I would love to go to a Florida Georgia line concert. They just look so fun.

3. Rants/Raves Had a great time in Montreal and really relaxed. Felt loved and hopefully radiated that back on to people. No rants to speak of.

4. GTKY: If you could see any musician or band perform live, who would it be and why? I actually already saw my dream concert. Sufjan Stevens, 9th row centre at Massey Hall for his Carrie & Lowell tour. It was an electronic assault with the lights and music meant to simulate his mother's death and ascension to heaven. I cried the whole way through and that's not just because it was about extraordinarily complicated grief. His music means everything to me and has always been strangely prophetic when it comes to loss in my life. I'm anxiously awaiting another album and another tour. I'd also love to see Burial, but I doubt he'd ever play North America.

1. Most definitely not new, unfortunately.

2. TWW 5 or 6 DPO depending on which detector I use in FF. 

3. Rants/Raves. I just don't feel like this is our cycle since it was a bit of a weird cycle for me. Scant CM, high pre-O temps (I'm guessing because my estrogen was lower for some reason - would also explain the lack of CM), timing was only OK, and my post-O temp jump wasn't that high until this morning. We'll see though - I was 110% convinced last cycle was going to be it, and clearly I shouldn't go into the psychic business anytime soon. A combo rant/rave is that work is still insane. The rant is that I'm exhausted from working every weekend the last four weeks. The rave is that I can't believe I'm already at 6 DPO - I'm hoping the second half of this TWW goes by just as quickly.

4. I'm a bit lame and don't go to concerts very often. I like the summer concerts at one of the wineries in my state - you can bring food, drink lots of wine, and just sit on the lawn. They tend to only get older bands (we saw Counting Crows and Rob Thomas this summer - is my age showing?). I don't like super loud concert venues.

@RiverSong15   Sucks work is so busy but glad it's taking your mind off this dreaded wait!  My cycles have been wonky too. This one seems to be the most normal so far.  But I'm convinced it's not my time this month.  Hopefully doctor can assist when I see her next week.

2.) CD 16 - WTO- got some EWCM today so hoping O is right around the corner.

3.) Rant- I have just been feeling kind of blah lately. I have the woe is me - everything is blah and nothing is ever going to get better attitude.
Rave - I now recognize when I am getting down and start doing things to make myself feel better which is progress. Just being proactive about it makes me feel better.

4.) I would love to see Justin Timberlake live. I saw him when he was with *Nsync but that was almost 20 years ago ( yikes!). He is such a great performer/ entertainer and Im sure he would put on a great live show.

@Mack2342 - lucky you saw Prince before he passed away. Im sure he would have been amazing to see live!

@Sp128 - glad you had a good birthday wknd - stand up show and eating all weekend sounds perfect! Fx for you this cycle its so hard not to have a defeatist attitude sometimes.

@Riversong15 - I know I felt so optimistic last cycle too and was gutted when I got AF and its just hard to hope after that. Sorry work is still stressful but hopefully it will be a good TWW distraction. Fx for you!

Not new and AF will hopefully be here within the week. Currently not tracking and just having sex without pressure of timing.

I gave up FB for a week cause it was bringing me down. I just feel like it's becoming all politics and I'm sick of it. So I'm on IG more with the yoga community. 

I saw prince back in 2003 I think. So amazing! I would like to see Bruno Mars.

@reneeannemm Love Sufjan.  I actually play one of his songs for the kids frequently because they also love him.  FX for tww testing.  When are you planning on doing that?

CD 4- ANd my AF is fierce.  I have never had it this heavy before.  My last AF was super light so I am thinking my uterine lining is strong and ready  next month.

Rant-  I work with some of the most right-wing tea party conservatives.  Can that be rant enough?  Anyhow at work a group of teachers were talking about how pro-life they were and how anyone who has had an abortion would burn in hell. Only 2 people know about my ectopic and having to take methotrexate to terminate.  So, I casually walked by and said, "Looks like I'm burning in hell.  I hope there's vegan food."  I didn't offer any explanation and they all turned ghost white.  I can only imagine the rumors that are circulating, and I hope someone comes up to me to ask.  Being informed and being pro -life is  one thing, which I can respectfully disagree with.   Being ignorant and pro-life is disgusting. 

I got to see Oasis in high school which was awesome.  Now, I would love to see Beach House.  I use to go to shows all the time.  I think I'm old and lame now.

I also stopped using Facebook for personal posts, though I still use it for my website's page. The constant barrage of horrible things happening in the world was too much; the suffering, the tension, the Nazis. I can read to stay informed on my own, as I can. I can make a difference in my community but not beyond. It's reduced anxiety I didn't even know I was experiencing.

@vlagrl29 - Ive given up fb several times during this process and always feel so much better when I do.  I really should do it again bec all the political posts of late are just too much. I greatly prefer IG - its nice just to scroll through and see pictures without everything else.

I do use it for my business and I have so many friends on it so I don't want to totally give it up but man does it feel so good to have that control right now of not logging on.  I wish there was a way to really control what you see on there w/o having to unfollow people.

I forgot to mention I had a dream last night **DD mentioned**  Had a dream she was in middle school and after she got on the bus I realized how lonely I was because we didn't have any younger kids yet everyone around me did.  Woke up feeling like even if we can't conceive kids on our own I want to adopt.  I don't want any regrets of not having more.  It would hurt me so much.

3. R/R: I started a muscle relaxer for my back and it's like, where have you been all my life?! Ha ha. Hopefully head out for a bit for a combo run/walk, just walking is killing me!
4. Can't think of a dream concert, but I can't *wait* for Depeche Mode to tour again, they put on the most amazing, electric performances!

@RiverSong15 I've had issues the last 3 months with the scant EWCM as well, it's so frustrating!

1. Not new.
2. Benched. Hcg levels last week Thursday were 2. Very bittersweet. Just waiting for my first period post miscarriage on January 2nd.
3. Still can't get over upper management at work telling me that security footage showed me smiling and not in emotional distress when I made a mistake at work that ended with a severe right up. I am currently looking for a new job thanks to that comment.
4. New kids on the block but only in the 90s!!!

@amberruka My very good friend got KU taking muscle relaxers when she scratched her cornea.   They  actually helped relieve her stress as well and she attributes that to her first child.  So happy your back is getting better. And i will have to steal your comeback, love it!

@reneeannemm I was getting bummed out on FB seeing all the bad going on in the world.  I like to stay informed but I felt like FB was a dumping ground for depressive things.

Rave- DH and I have been either going to the gym or going for a walk every day! I always hated working out, but this time it has been such a stress reliever that I'm excited to go! Never thought I'd say that lol

I haven't been to a concert in years! Last one I went to was Backstreet Boys (4-ish years ago) talk about flashing back to age 11!  I've always wanted to see Cake, I think that would be a fun concert.

3. Rants/Raves: I get angry when people flaunt how easy it is for them to get KU on TTGP and IRL. It may have only taken me 3 cycles, but I worked my @$$ off researching, charting, taking vitamins, going off BCP, getting bloodwork done a year before, etc. Even though both DH and my families are extremely fertile going back several generations doesn't mean I will be able to stay KU after getting pregnant.

4. GTKY: If you could see any musician or band perform live, who would it be and why?

I would have loved to have seen Elvis in the 50s or maybe even The Beach Boys. I just like their music! Modern day? I need to see Tim and Faith.

I'm unfortunately  not new but coming back after another loss. I was active here in the summer and fall after our MMC last March. That loss was discovered at 13 weeks. We took the summer off to regroup and travel and got pregnant again in October. Last Monday our world was crushed when we went in for our 16 week appt and discovered baby had passed. This was after a great NT scan 3 weeks earlier and an appointment at 14 weeks as well. I was showing and 'out' to all my co-workers and students. Its been an impossible week

2. Status -WTO, TWW, Benched
Benched for now as we wait. Had a D&E last Monday and surgeon recommends 2 cycles. we are also waiting to do more testing and for appointments with MFM and maybe RE as well. Last time I benched myself for personal reasons for many months and this time I'm ready to jump back on the wagon.

3. Rants/Raves
I don't even know where to start. I could rant all day about how I'm not pregnant anymore. Instead, I'll rave about the amazing care and love we've been showered with for the last 7 days. Starts with my OB whom has shown me more grace and support and love than I think I deserve. The woman cried with me last monday and hasn't left my side (figuratively of course). she's shocked and sad and mad along with us. Then we have the OB she referred us to for our D&E because she doesn't do the procedure. This 2nd OB was equally as amazing. She got us footprints of our sweet little boy (she thinks it was a boy - we are waiting for test results to confirm) and hugged my DH and tried to break rules for us so Dh could be with me in recovery (that didn't happen but she tried). Then there is the village of friends that have surrounded us. So much food in our fridge and freezer. so many flowers. gifts for our girls. countless phone calls and texts and people just showing up when i know they don't want to. 

4. GTKY: If you could see any musician or band perform live, who would it be and why? I'm not huge on live music - I know, I'm old we like to see people like Ira Glass and Trevor Noah live - such nerds.

@NYTino24 and @reneeannemm  Ugh.... acupuncture sounds absolutely amazing.  I don't think we can afford it.  These are the prices with a 20% insurance discount.  $115 for 90 minute initial visit and $75 for weekly visits for the foreseeable future.

Well, work is quiet so that suck. Also spent my day off on the phone with Immigration to see where DH green card is as its been nearly 2 years pending and still appareny pending. DH also had to warn his cousin to not go to Canada in case this stupid ban gets stupider and it extends to their country of origins. She's a PHD student with a specialty in Cancer research so her dept are going to lecture in Canada but he worries for now and it is better to be safe than sorry. Hoping for a better week but superbowl is this Sunday which means another bad weekend so we just might close and take *gasps* two days off!
4. GTKY: If you could see any musician or band perform live, who would it be and why? 
No idea, I never really cared to go to concerts that much but DH wants to see Pink Floyd but tickets are crazy expensive.
