Hello, When I first joined the bump I went straight to infertility board, after a little while I decided to join the TTGP board and then I found this one. After 3 years of trying I think that this board would be better for me than TTGP. So here's my story.. My husband and I are both 23 years old and this Valentine's Day will make it 3 years of being married . We wanted a big family so we decided to start trying right away. We actually started a few months before the wedding (November 2013). I've always been afraid of not being able to have kids so after 9 months of no luck I began to get worried. Shortly after I saw an OB on base (my husband was active duty at the time) she said "you're young you've got time". She had me do an HSG to see if my tubes were blocked and everything was fine so she sent me home. After two months of no call backs or anything I went back and asked about clomid. They straight up told me no. My husband's contract was ending in a few months so they didn't want to even bother with it. I had to wait until after we moved to look into anything. Shortly after moving I joined the national guard. We continued to try up until I left for basic. Once my training was done I came back and we continued trying, but this time I started looking into fertility specialists in my area. I started seeing my RE a few months ago. Turns out I have PCOS. I have slightly irregular cycles. For the most part they are about 34 days long, but sometimes I'll get a month where I have two or I can skip a month. When she did my first ultrasound she found that my follicle count was just a little on the higher side, luckily no cysts were found. She started me on clomid 50mg and recommended a trigger shot. When I had my LH surge she had me come back and she said that my levels were high enough that I didn't need the shot. Sadly, my husband was sick during this time and we relied solely on what we did before the surge. As you can guess BFN. Today is CD 5 and she has me on clomid 50mg again and this time I am getting the shot. So hopefully everything goes well this month. Fingers crossed
Welcome! We got married on the same day! My husband and I also celebrate 3 years on valentines day. I am also on clomid 50mg and have also randomly always thought I would have trouble getting pregnant since before I even started. Looking forward to keeping up with your journey.
