I have my second appointment on Friday and can't wait. they didn't check the heartbeat at the first appointment so it'll be exciting to get it this time

First appt today and it was amazing! I bawled during our ultrasound. So wonderful to see that little person in there finally. So thankful! Life is good!!!

My first appointment is tomorrow afternoon and am starting to get a wee bit nervous about everything being OK.
I don't think I'll get an ultrasound but I do hope they listen for (and find!) the heartbeat with a doppler.

just came back from my first appointment with the midwife. everything went great! she had a small fetal doppler where she tried to find the heartbeat, but it wasn't picking up. We moved to a bigger machine, and we saw the baby, she couldn't give me a heartbeat rate, but said it looked healthy. We saw the head, arms and legs...it was great!

We go back Friday for the genetic testing and another ultrasound...yay!!

I had a check up and we heard the baby's heartbeat for a quick second bc s/he did a disappearing act and then would just give us another split second listen. My blood work from 3ish weeks ago came back with flags and one was for "warm autoantibody" but no other details were provided. I'm A+ so don't think it's related to the RH stuff but she wants me to go see a specialist so that'll happen in about 3 weeks.

My appointment today had to be rescheduled due to a series of unfortunate events. So, now I get to go in Wednesday. Which isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but still I was so excited for today.

I had my first appointment today. Loved my new dr's office, got a ton of useful information, and got a quickie ultrasound!! The machine was older and not as clear as my last U/s at the hospital imagining center but I got to see the baby wiggling around and the heartbeat! At first I could make out the baby just laying there and I almost started cursing... but then it started jumping around! Watched it wiggle and flail around for a few minutes. Crazy!! 

Starting to feel like maybe this is actually happening to me and is a tiny bit more than just an abstract idea.

Appointment went great! Got to meet my primary doctor this time so that was awesome. Baby was moving like crazy and was measuring right on track. My doctor is the head of obstetrics at our hospital and guessed baby is likely a boy! He said he was about 80% sure but he'd wait to confirm at our next appointment. I'm so happy this appointment went well I was so nervous! Hope everyone else's appointments go well this week!

@Knottie1461008828 I recently found out that I have Antibody M stuff going on. It is going to be monitored closely and levels rise then I will start working with High Risk specialists. Keep me posted on yours! I also just updated in the High Risk mama check-in

I had another US today to look closely at the babies and see how many placentas there are. I have been stressing myself out over the possibility of losing one, so it was a huge relief to see both babies squirming around with tiny hearts beating away!  They confirmed di/di twins, which is also really great news for survival rate. Overall, I am so relieved and can hopefully relax and enjoy pregnancy now.

I had an appointment today for a screening ultrasound and genetic screening blood draw. They took measurements, looks for a nasal bone and fluid behind the neck--everything looked normal! It was neat seeing how much lil baby has grown already. The tech also guessed the baby might be a boy.
