Symptoms? I AM SO HUNGRY. I wake up starving and have to eat multiple times between meals.
Cravings? All the food
Rants/Raves/Questions? I think I'm a normal weight for 23 weeks, but people are starting to make me feel self-conscious. They'll ask if the doctor said I'm a normal size, if I know whether I'm going to have a big baby, etc etc. It feels like little hints that they think I'm too big.
GTKY: (Stolen from Wed.) What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? Well, I have some crazy drunk ones, but those aren't fun to reminisce about... My favorite adventurous thing is that I drove 14 hours to Maine and hiked Mount Katahdin. It was the best hike I've ever been on.

Any appointments this week? nope, although I may make a trip to the chiropractor. My lower back/hips are a little sore.
Symptoms? Not sleeping very well, super emotional and heartburn.
Cravings? Apples, I can't eat enough apples!
Rants/Raves/Questions? My husband is not an overtly emotional guy on the outside and although he says he is super excited for the baby, I'm just not feeling it from him. I wish he were more expressive. I guess I just have to take him at his word.
GTKY: (Stolen from Wed.) What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? Move to a city for a job where I knew no one. Turned out to be a really good decision though (so go me!).
Any appointments this week? Nope, just a chiro apt (needing these more and more)
Symptoms? my hips and back are starting to bother me a decent amount, thinking about purchasing a pillow soon.
Cravings? Nothing really, starting to try to eat healthy again!! YAY it's been way too long.
Rants/Raves/Questions? It took so long to start feeling her, I'm so glad I can finally feel her more regularly. I'm so busy with work, my husbands schedule, and doctor apts I'm barely getting to work out once a week and that's so frustrating to me!! I muss working out!!
GTKY: (Stolen from Wed.) What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? I've gone skydiving... I would have to say that's about as exciting as I have ever gotten.
How far along are you? 24 weeks! Yayyy for viability!
How big is baby? Cantaloupe or GI Joe
Any appointments this week? Fetal Echocardiogram and 24wk Appt tomorrow. Slightly nervous (I feel like something new always comes up) but also not too bad as there were no concerns with the heart at the anatomy scan, MFM doctor just wants reassurance apparently.
Symptoms? More movements finally! He's mostly active at night or I'm just so busy during the day I don't notice. My back/hips/pelvis are pretty sore by the end of the day.
Cravings? Fruit! Or anything cold really.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Just annoyed as we found out DH will be traveling for work ALOT over the next three months and will be super busy basically up until 37wks. So trying to figure out how to get necessities done before he leaves.
GTKY: (Stolen from Wed.) What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? Marrying someone in the military and agreeing to move our family around every few years!

symptoms: I think I'm feeling a little teeny bit of baby moving. I noticed it first when I was off work on vacation and sitting around and notice it much more at night. Hoping it will continue to get stronger and I can feel baby girl even more as time goes on!
appointments this week: my follow up anatomy scan and my next monthly appointment are this Thursday!
Raves: got the room cleared out that is the nursery to be!
GTKY: the most adventurous thing I've done is to move to a city far away to be closer to a guy. It ended up working out but it was so scary!
23 weeks! Feeling irrationally anxious to make it to viability next week.
grapefruit (how is this bigger than a coconut?)
symptoms: lots of hip pain which doesn't seem to be responding to chiropractic adjustments, dizziness and still nausea
next appointment and follow up ultrasound 2/9
r/r/q: DH and my SIL built a closet in DDs new bedroom this weekend. It took much longer than anticipated, but I can't wait for it to be done. Now for the dusty part of mudding and sanding before we can paint.
Gtky: I'm not a very adventurous person... I once went on a mystery trip in college where you didn't find out where you were going until you were 1/2 way there. We ended up in Chicago which was amazing!

I'm Biased... However, Chicago is a really cool city!! It's still magical to me every-time I visit.
@Cubslove12 I have a cousin who lives in Chicago and I always always always have wanted to visit her but the military keeps moving us further and further away! Its on my list though as I hear so many wonderful things! We always made it to St. Louis when I was younger but never up to Chicago!

@Cubslove12, I second that skydiving sounds pretty adventurous! I don't like flying, so the thought of jumping out of a plane is pretty terrifying.
@PghMom412, I'm also feeling irrationally anxious about getting to 24 weeks, even though I feel baby move all the time and have nothing that I should be worrying about. Also, a mystery trip sounds super fun!

@Cubslove12 it was amazing! The only downside was we were only there for the weekend so it limited what we could fit in. I would love to go back someday. DH found this news piece on a rubber ducky race that happens in Chicago (I think?) so maybe I could convince him.
Symptoms? I feel more moody though DH has been irritable too so it could be from that too
Cravings? Haven't had any pregnancy cravings, just my normal random "ooh that sounds good"
Rants/Raves/Questions? we moved into our rental home late November and still have 80% of stuff in boxes. I have no desire to unpack even with needing to prep for LO...May will be here too early (and if I'm like my mother it'll be April )
GTKY: (Stolen from Wed.) What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done? I guess shadowing some zoo keepers in my teens (behind the scenes with the cheetahs..crazy!) otherwise I'd say Online Dating but it led me to my hubby so the adventure changed into a crazy family!
@kns1988 same here. I have no real reason to worry, but next week seems so far away.
The mystery trip was so fun. Our student government planned it and sold enough tickets to fill a tour bus. It was relatively cheap ( I think maybe $150) and included travel to/from the mystery destination as well as your hotel. We went to Chicago, Virginia Beach, and Washington, DC.

That's a huge fundraiser for Special Olympics! I've donated and bought ducks before, but never been. I'm a former special olympics coach, it's the best organization!
Ive lived here my whole life and I still haven't seen all of it!
This pregnancy has officially begun to kick my booty. I feel like my vagina is going to split in half. Walking is incredibly painful and you can forget sleeping bc when i lay down on my right side i can barely breath so that means the only way i can lay is on the left and my hips cant handle it no matter how many pillows i use. Plus my dd is going through stone kind of sleep regression and is basically up all night no matter what we do. I am pretty down about it bc i didnt expect to be whooped so early in the pregnancy and I'm not sure how the next 3 months will go.
@Jkp7749, I hope you find some relief! I can't imagine a twin pregnancy. I feel like just the one is kicking my ass, and I've already got the waddle going on. Anyone with multiples is a superwoman.

I guess updating in my weekly ticker change is the most appropariate place as I don't think it necessarily deserves its own thread. We had our growth ultrasound and fetal echocardiogram today. Baby was wiggling around and his heart looked great! No concerns there. There was still a slight dialation in both of his kidneys but it was expected as it's only been 3 weeks from the last ultrasound so they didn't expect it to resolve itself that quickly. Baby looked healthy overall. However, his long bones are still measuring small. MFM doctor brought up skeletal displasia as a possibility again but baby isn't showing any signs of curved/bowed bones and bones look healthy in general, just short. We are continuing with monthly growth ultrasounds at this point to make sure we don't fall off the curve that baby is currently setting for himself. If that were to happen we would possibly need to deliver early. So at this point I'm trying not to overly stress about the short long bones and think that baby is just measuring short, and trying to stay off google!

@hp_momma I wish I had seen your posts earlier this month. I've been more lurking than participating lately because life is nuts and work has been crazy... I'm going through the same thing with my little one, except mine is the ureter that's dialated, not the kidney itself. We had our first visit with the MFM about a month ago, and are going back for second measurements a week from today. Both my OB and MFM have been extremely positive which is encouraging, but it's still so hard not to worry and knowing that you can't do anything to help the little guy
One way it was explained to me is that when organs develop, they start out solid, and as they grow they expand and create the open interior, and baby's not done developing yet, so they can still open up more! In my case, the dialation is due to a narrowing in the ureter so the urine isn't able to make it all the way through as quickly as it should and is causing a backup.
if you want to talk more feel free to pm me. It's always better to know you're not alone! Hugs and prayers for both our little ones as they keep growing!
