Peeling Skin

Tonight after I bathed DS I noticed a few spots on the bottom of his feet were peeling.  It looked like a snake shedding it's skin, the skin was quite thick.  It almost looks like a blister that popped but there is no fluid.  The skin underneath is fine, it just looks like new skin. It just worried me because it was large areas of thick skin. Anyone ever deal with this?

My brother has an allergic reaction to clothing dyes that is similar and can only wear white cotton sox. Many dyes are water soluble and when in contact with sweat some of the dye will leach and irritate the skin. My brothers feet peel like a banana.
