Anyone else still pregnant?!

I'm 40+3 today (was due Monday) and seeing no signs of baby.  I've been dilated to 2cm and 60-80% effaced (depending on who you ask) for a couple weeks. I started my maternity leave on Monday and sometimes regretting it... gives me TOO MUCH TIME to google gestation and labor statistics trying to mentally manipulate when this baby will come. If anything, I'm feeling LESS pregnant than I did a week ago. I'm doing lots of walking and activity but with less pain. Frankly, I'm doing just fine and feel like pregnancy has become my permanent state.
My goal has been to wait till baby comes on his/her own (up to two weeks) but starting to balk that it's only been a few days.

If you're also still pregnant and impatient- how are you keeping your mind busy??

or if you had your baby without induction, did it's onset come out of no where... is there any hope?!

also such a bummer this board has gotten so quiet- especially now!!

40weeks + 6 days here! I've been on maternity leave since last week! I just keep giving myself 'projects' to do. Baking, organizing, etc. Right now I decided to try and make my own carseat cover from a pinterest tutorial. Lol.

I was feeling really good physically up until a few days ago. Now I can hardly stand or do any kind of activity without my body wanting to snap in half. So that's kind of making it easier to stay busy. Because it takes sooooo long to get anything done! But extremely frustrating.... lol

I'm 39+4. Some days I feel like my baby should be coming any time and other days it seems like baby's all good to stay in there for a while yet. I keep busy with my other 2 kids, cleaning house, playing games on my phone, and watching tv. 

Hope your baby comes soon @sarag.

@HJMorgan how long will you wait before induction?

i can't believe I'm complaining about feeling good. But that just makes me feel like I could/should be more active/busy.

@momof2girls+? Hope your daughters are keeping you busy and your mind occupied!

Sending you labor vibes!!

My labor started exactly like my first. My water broke randomly. I even went to the store earlier that day to buy a yoga ball so I could bounce on it to get things moving.

But chin up. You won't be pregnant forever. Hopefully your sweet babe is right around the corner!

With this pregnancy, I was 39w2d. First pregnancy, I was 36w1d.

I'm still pregnant....39 + 2. Baby is at 0 station, so she's ready to go! I feel her bumping against my cervix all the time. 2cm dilated and 75% effaced on Tuesday. Doc said she should come "any day now". I had 2 hours of contractions 5 minutes apart on Monday night, then they just stopped. Now I feel FINE. I've been eating pineapple, walking, having sex, dancing, trying to relax, etc. and nothing. I don't know how she can be at 0 station and 2cm dilated and so thinned for so long....COME ON baby!

  @sarag They'll do a membrane sweep at 42 weeks if he hasn't been born yet. I'm at the birthing center, they're a lot more relaxed and natural there. lol

Don't feel bad about feeling good! I was the same way! It's like, you don't FEEL how everyone says you're supposed to, so you wonder if that means baby is super cozy and not coming any time soon. LOL.

I feel you. I've been dilated and effaced for quite some time but still nothing... and babys been at station zero for weeks. I feel like I'm regressing! Cramps and contractions have slowed. (What?! Whyyy!! Lol)
hopefully your LO progresses at a faster clip than I seem to be.

Yes!  40+1  with a breech baby though so they've scheduled me to try a version Friday and possible csection if it is unsuccessful!  So not for long!!

I had gone over 2 weeks with my son and I just did lots of walking and moving, and cleaning oh the cleaning lol this time I only went over 4 days thankfully but again I did lots of cleaning lol hoping it goes well, I had to be induced both times, guess my babies just like to stay comfy lol

41 weeks over here, and working from home for a couple more days.

I am trying for a VBAC this time, but this baby is still floating super high, not engaged at all and I am .5 cm dilated.

They do not want to induce because of the higher risk of uterine rupture, but I would really like to avoid surgery again. Why doesn't this baby want to make any moves toward the outside world? 

Any mamas have experience with a baby that truly made no signs to exit, or an induction after previous csection? 

Glad as to see some activity on the board!!

I'm still pregnant too! 40 weeks and 3 days. I'm trying for a VBAC this time too. The baby feels engaged, but last time they checked (last week) I was only at 1cm. He has until next thursday to make his appearance, then I have to have a scheduled c-section. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have some real progress soon!

@awiggin2013 I did a repeat C this time around (my 3rd c section) but even after having two sections my doctor was okay with doing an induction if I had even just a little dilation. I think she had mentioned using a foley bulb. You may want to talk to your doctor about it!

I didn't read all comments. I want to say I successfully had a VBAC this time and I attribute baby engaging due to spinningbabies.com ! I did the exercises to help baby engage and a week later I had an hour and 40 minute labor, baby flew out! Plus I used evening primrose oil, stripped membranes. Good luck ladies!
