Testing: This is the gif I will forever use when it comes to testing:
R/R: DH is already whining about how "awkward" it is to do an SA. At home, by the way. He said, "When I drive it there people will know what it is!" OMG you literally just saw me get a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday. I think I win on invasiveness.
CS/Q: I do have a question! The RE nurse gave me a bunch of
samples of VitaPearl prenatals which are soy-free but do have DHA. (The ones I've been taking don't have DHA as I couldn't find any that were soy-free.) She said
they can write me a prescription for prenatals instead of the regular vitamin
ones I'm taking. Does anyone else do this? Is it worth it? I have to figure out
whether my insurance will cover it (which would make it an obvious yes at a $10 copay) but I'm
curious if there's other benefits to the prescribed over regular?
GTKY: No exciting story - they found it in a baby name book. My mom, though, was named after a character in the Bible, but her parents inadvertently spelled it differently (think Deborah vs. Debra style) and their priest was mad about it for much of her childhood.
Testing: ummm so I may have POAS this morning because I am a speshul snowflake apparently... of course it was BFN. WTF was I thinking?
R/R: Rave: I get Cheesecake Factory for dinner tonight AND it will be free! Rant: I hate offices and office politics and people who think soooo highly of themselves for no reason.
CS/Q: Normally after O the side of my breasts hurt. This month that happened for a couple of days anw now on my right breast is hurting and it's a very localized pain on the outside of the breast, it feels a little lumpy, and is painful to the touch. Anyone else have this experience? I am certian it's hormonal but not sure if I should be concered (not in terms of ttc, just in general).
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Oh this is a good story. So my parents were young...and stupid. I was supposed to be a boy so my Dad wanted to carry on the family name, "Charles". The story is that on the way to the hospital my Mom argued with him and said No Way to Charles. The song, "Jessie's Girl" came on the radio and they decided on the name Jessie. Well...I wasn't a boy and they changed it to Jessica. They still call me Jessie to this day. So I was named after a one hit wonder 80s song. We all danced to it at our wedding and every time the song comes on, the story gets told.
@adirat, I'm just a TWW lurker right now, but your DH's "awkward" feeling vs yours made me LOL. Yes, you definitely win. Between what we go through with AF monthly, TTGP, and all things pregnancy related, if it were up to men to reproduce, humans would die out. Fingers crossed for you in this TWW!
@jess0211@JNCPro3130 Haha I'm not trying to make it a competition because I don't want him to get anxious, but I was like...seriously dude you and two strangers just looked inside my ovaries to count follicles together yesterday. Eye rollllll
@adirat I just got prescription PNV which I chose to do because I can't take the only USP verified prenatals (NatureMade) due to an ingredient in them I can't have. I was taking PureEncapsulations but another wonderful lady on this board is a chemist (I think) and mentioned many vitamins don't actually contain the full ingredients they say they do since they are not FDA approved. I hated the idea that a company knows women need these to have healthy babies yet they mess with them so I asked my dr for a prescription and it was FREE!! I have a year's worth of refills and I'm not paying a cent, and I know exactly what is in them because they were filled by a pharmacist, AND they are so much easier to take than the PureEncapsulations. Smaller and I only have to take 1 not 2. It's the best!
TTGP March Siggy Challenge: Animals Celebrating St. Patrick's Day
Yes, she's the one! I wanted to go back and find her name but hard with mobile bumping. So so grateful to you @KristoKekerooni. I'm sure my dr thinks I'm overly cautious but at least I know what's going in my body...and for free!
TTGP March Siggy Challenge: Animals Celebrating St. Patrick's Day
Testing: Only if AF doesn't show as expected on 2/1
R/R: I've been covering for our accounts payable clerk since December 28th so that she could go visit family in the Philippines. Today was supposed to be her first day back and she's conveniently "sick." I sort of expected she would as she's famous for the I'm-always-sick-on-a-friday-or-monday routine. But I guess after almost a month, what's one more day?
CS/Q: --
GTKY: Um, my mom was obsessed with my name because of a girl from her high school who was "like, really pretty". Which is pretty damn creepy if you ask me.
@adirat pretty sure my husband is going to react similarly to the idea of a SA. :Eye Roll: We've been talking about our next steps in this TTGP process and he acts like a baby when the SA topic comes up.
@jess0211 oh no, cycle buddy! Sorry for the BFN - they sting regardless of the fact that you know it's too early.
Me: 32 H: 32 Married: October 2009 TTC#1: August 2016
@julesdp thanks, logically I know it's too early but my BSC self couldn't put the stick down! Sorry about your co worker...we have a few of those around here. They are the 15 mins late every.single.day girls.
@ag90 - So happy to hear you advocated for yourself and got what you needed! And kudos to your doc for taking you seriously and giving you what you need! That's awesome! @adirat -
As far as the script vs OTC , there are a couple of difference the biggest is that there is almost always more folate/folic acid. OTC tend to only have ~400 mcg, which is the bare minimum you need, while OTC tend to have more than enough (in the 900-1200 mcg range). It's pretty difficult (if not downright impossible, for most) to OD on FA, so you would be safe taking it. FA is kinda hard to synthesize, which is why cheap, OTC PNVs don't have much-it's to keep those prices low. Sorta the same story with Iodine. It's actually really important for development, but many OTC don't have enough, while scripts do (while low FA causes things like Spina Bifida, low Iodine can cause metal deficiencies). Another difference is the "filler" ingredients. This sounds like a bad thing, but hear me out. all meds have fillers. This is for a few reasons. 1. because the actual dose of the AI (active ingredient) is so tiny, it would amount to enough to take a pill. 2. Because there needs to be a binding agent to form it. 3. To make it easier on the stomach. 4. To aid in absorption. Different fillers do 1-4 differently. With OTC, most of the time they are easier on the stomach. People don't want to take things that make them feel sick, so they are careful to add things to keep it comfortable. Scripts don't really care about this concept, because they are doctor-ordered, so you are more likely to take them. With Scripts, they also tend to add in things that will help in absorption. They aren't measured so much as what is in the pill, it's more what the body absorbs. For example, if you have a script vs OTC for of, say Vit D, but an OTC is more likely to just throw in some of the Vit. D, add some filler for binding, and make it gentle. A script will tend to add in some Calcium, because calcium helps the Vit D bind and absorb better.
@ag90 I don't know what ingredient in Nature Made is the one that causes you issue, or if it's a general stomach sensitivity, but I'd be interested in if the scripts give you the same issue. You'll have to let me know. Like I said, scripts do tend to cause tummy issues more than OTC.
That's all pretty general information, and really not so polarizing in either directions that would render either OTC or scrips vitamins bad or anything, just some differences.
.... and that got long again. Sorry

@KristoKekerooni it's the gelatin in Nature Made I can't have It's pork based and I keep kosher. I've been taking it for three days and no nausea so far which I'm surprised about but grateful for, because I get nauseous fairly easily - though it's usually due to motion sickness or migraines or a rare circumstance where I'm prescribed a very strong painkiller. And yes, my dr is wonderful, I'm basically obsessed with her. I won't switch to an ob until I'm pregnant but I so wish I could just keep my primary the whole way through.

@Jess0211 Yep, definitely have that song stuck in my head now...
Month/Cycle: 8/9
CD/DPO: 20/7
Timing: -5,-4,-2
Testing: nope...
R/R: Well, temps have been extra funky lately, which really is not helping my pessimism towards the subject. Also, all of my efforts in applying for new positions at work are now futile thanks to Trump's hiring freeze, so now I am stuck getting under paid for doing double the work. All together, I am currently a real friggin ray of sunshine right now!
CS/Q: --
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Kind of a downer, but I was named after my father's sister who passed away. My first name is actually a combination of her first and middle name, so I constantly get people who think they are funny asking "Oh what, your parents couldn't decide on a name???". My name is also from a fairly well known song, so it is also fun when people feel the need to ask me if I ever heard it. ETA: Or feel the need to start singing it to me
Testing: trying to hold out until 1/31 (which for me
R/R: Rave is that DH is finally on board with me eating organic! This might not seem major but it has taken me awhile to get him to this point. He still plans to eat non-organic meat to save on cost, but agreed to buy organic meat for me and whenever possible organic fruits/veggies (at least the dirty dozen). Yaaayy!
CS/Q: nada today
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Not really - I didn't have a name when I was born and apparently in the hospital my dad went "How about ___"? And my mom went "oh, yes I like that." boom haha.
@adirat totally think the women win in the invasiveness department haha. Again, so happy your appointment went well!
@jess0211 so im curious, do you love the song or hate the song now? haha
@JulesDP one of my secretaries is infamous for the friday and monday routine, but she is good worker so...on she stays ha
@pinky917 ugh so sorry about your position with work and pay. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be
Testing: I peed before I could test today... if I'm still here tomorrow than I'll test
R/R: DS looks soo much better this morning, hopefully this means he can go back to daycare tomorrow.
CS/Q: My body is F'n with me, I have a 12 day LP but I'm still here but my temp dipped a little more though is still way above cover line. (though last cycle AF came with me way over coverline...)
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? I have no idea... DD came from a book that I read when I was little, and DS is named after DH's and my Grandfathers (they both had the same name). Its amazing how many people comment to us " oh you picked such nice normal names" why do people have to be so judgmental? (that being said @peregrine I'm totally judging your sis@perezking22
@adirat silly husbands, its ridiculous how whiny they get about the SA. I just take OTC prenatals
@jess0211 I have not, fat lot of help I am to you today.
@julesDP that is super annoying. hopefully she'll be in tomorrow
For anyone who has nausea with their prenatals you could try taking them at night. It seems to make a difference.

@adirat Yup, you definitely win the awkwardness award... Silly H
@jess0211 Ugh - agreed with you on the office politics. That was a big part of why I left my last job.
@JulesDP Those coworkers are the worst! At least it makes you look good, since you're the one covering for her!
@Pinky917 I'm sorry to hear that you're affected by the freeze. There has been so much fear over the new American administration (not starting a politic debate, just observing), but it's all been unknown until know.
@wabash15 Sorry your body is playing mind games - I can definitely empathize with you this cycle. FX something happens soon
Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD/DPO: 48/6 (?)
Timing: nada - DH wasn't home
Testing: nope - just anxiously waiting for AF
R/R: I've still been feeling pretty meh towards TTC, as I approach day 50 of a useless cycle... But every time I take a break, I miss you guys!
CS/Q: I'm still not convinced I've ovulated, and think FF is just mindf'ing me. Does anyone ever ovulate this late in a cycle? I'm leaving the dotted CH just so I can count down to AF (hopefully) but have no faith in them. I'm also waiting for FF to take them away one morning just to mess with me more. To top it off, yesterday the heat was off and I got up to investigate before realizing it was time to get up, so no temp.
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories?
Like @jess0211, I was also named after a song. My middle name comes from their wedding song (The Rose - Bette Middler) and my first name from one of the other first dances.
@adirat Boys really don’t get
it… Interesting question about the prenatals. If your insurance covers it, I’d
go for it!
@jess0211 sorry about the
BFN. For some reason, I was considering testing this morning. Why? I haven’t a
clue…
@JulesDP My AF is predicted
on 2/1 as well. You wanna post in the grad thread together on Monday??

@KristoKekerooni your

@Pinky917 sorry that the new

@wabash15 I’m so happy to

and I’ve already gotten a TON accomplished. Yay me!! Oh, and I’m going to a

take pretty nice pictures, but you can always improve!
CS/Q: Hmm, I wonder if my
mabis is favoring temps. I’ve gotten a 97.72 three of the nine days post-O.
GTKY: Why were you given your

Not really sure. My mom liked
the name Josie, but my dad really liked a different name, so that’s what they
went with!

@adirat I didn't want to bump yesterdays thread, but wanted to say how thrilled I am that yesterday's RE appointment went so well and that you guys have a plan!!! FX so very hard for you! And, to YH and anyone's DH who bitches about having to do a SA:
@sailing_mama we have had some women O very late, we even had one who O'd on something like CD46 and got KTFU that cycle. Looking at your temps you may have infact O'd. It would be great if your temps were a little higher but there is a shift from the ~10 days previously and your temps are staying more consistent ... even though your timing isn't great having O'd means there is an end in site for this cycle!

@JulesDP haha that is definitely a little creepy...
@jess0211 that happened to me last cycle with my left breast (of course I thought for sure I was KTFU). But I'm pretty sure it was just the progesterone. It went away right before AF came.
@pinky917 I feel you on the temps. So frustrating.
@GG620 I'm glad your H finally got on board and is supporting your decision!
@wabash15 sorry about your body f'ing with you but fx it's a good sign!

Timing: Not good enough.
Testing: Not after BFN yesterday unless AF doesn't come Friday
R/R: Ugh, I woke up at 2 am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep, so no temp today, so I have no idea if it dipped or not. I'm super frustrated.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories?
No idea! I think my mom just liked the way my first and middle names sounded together.
Me: 29 | DH: 30 Married since: May 2015 TTC #1 since August 2016 (also TTC for 3 months in Fall 2015)
@adirat: I have quite a few friends who prefer prescribed versus store bought prenatals. In their cases, it's because cost is pretty cheap (with their co-pays) and the quality is better (according to them). I use Nature Made at the moment. But I also never go to the doctor's office (yay, high deductible plan), so it would be a pain to get a prescription.
@Sailing_Mama Sorry you are feeling anxious. Hopefully you can move on to the next cycle soon and get good timing with your DH being home.
@wabash15: I too peed (about 4 times) before I woke up for good today...so no testing. FX that the extended LP is a good thing and good luck for testing tomorrow. Glad to hear your DS is feeling better.
GG620 Do you have a Costco membership? Surprisingly, organic items are pretty affordable there. We buy organic meat from there, and it's not nearly as expensive as other stores. Ground beef is about $19 for 4.5 lbs, which is pretty good. Chicken can be pricer, but if you do the organic thighs or legs, it's pretty affordable. Their organic vegetables are super affordable. I bought a huge bag of broccoli ($4) and brussel sprouts ($4) the other day, both organic.
Pinky917 Sorry about the work situation. I don't want to get too political, but I am just so disappointed in our government and the recent decisions right now.
JulesDP Erg, I get so frustrated with the always "sick" employees after long weekends, vacations or breaks. Seems awfully convenient...
Testing: Nope, AF is due tomorrow, waiting it out (also peed before I could anyway)
R/R:
Rave: My temp is still above coverline...which may not mean anything, but kind of assuages my concerns about progesterone since the last 2 cycles it dipped about 3 days before AF and my sleep patterns were crazy erratic. So far, sleep is better. Still wake up, but able to fall back asleep.
Rant: Not a lot today...but it's still early. I do have a long day because I have grad classes tonight until 7, so not looking forward to that.
CS/Q: nope, just waiting to see if AF decides to show.
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories?
Well, it's a funny story for my dad...not my mom. My name was actually supposed to be Ashley. My mother wanted all "A" names and I was the second born child. So they had picked out my name before birth. However, when my mom fell asleep, he decided to fill out the paperwork and turn it in. He changed my name and it starts with a "B." My mom was definitely not happy...but later named my sister with a "C" name, so got to have a pattern at least. I would have not liked the name Ashley, so it worked out for me in the end.
Sorry. This is going to be a P&G. I will try to check back in later.
Month/Cycle: 6
CD/DPO: 27/7
Timing: High- not that it's mattered
Testing: I don't even know. See Qs
R/R: my boobs hurt but I can't tell if it's because I am poking them to see if they hurt or if they really hurt.
CS/Q: so I have a wicked short LP. It has been 8-9 days. This question is probably moot because I will probably get AF on time but if for some reason I don't get it by Saturday (10dpo) do you think it's safe to test? I probably wouldn't test any earlier than that.
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Nope. Nothing good here.
@brooklyngirl6 have you gone to see your OB about your short LP? really anything less than 10 days is problematic as an embryo typically implants between 6-9 days post O. If you do get to 10 days it may be worth testing though it may still be early for a +.

My parents were told I was a boy until the day I came into the world. They didn't have a girl name picked out for me at all, I was supposed to be a Sean. So my aunt suggested my name and they just went with it.
R/R: Rant: I don't know why people need to fight on other people's Facebook status's about politics. Like, you can't force people to agree with you.... Note: I'm not involved, it's just so catty to see. I'm avoiding FB for the most part!
CS/Q: None
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? I was named after someone that passed away from kidney failure. My father chose the name. He used to care for the relative in her younger years until she passed. it's my understanding that they were very close. Unfortunately, because of that, My God Mother (the relatives biological sister) really detests me and treats me very poorly. I guess I could never amount to the name or the person. She was such a "you know what".
@adirat ohhh man, you totally win on invasiveness AND awkwardness! A cup in a private room is nothing to be bashful about, pshhh. Saw your post earlier too about the RE appt. That's awesome to have a plan and March is right around the corner! How exciting!
@jess0211 My mother in law has something very similar happen to her every cycle, at random times. Sometimes her breast/chest area will even swell. It is tender to the touch and does also have a lumpy texture. She went to several docs who all told her it was hormonal and that she should not be worried. You could always call a nurse hotline just to be safe? Sorry for the BFN, hopefully it's just too soon!
@JulesDP ughhhh I have a coworker who does the SAME thing!!! It's really just... ugh. You can't even do anything about it.
@Pinky917 This freeze is really affecting good people, some had it coming but others were caught in the fray. I'm sorry it's affecting you.
@GG620 yay for eating organic! I was considering pitching that to DH if I couldn't get KU this cycle. I have a feeling it would help immensely. GL!
@Wabash15 hopefully you're still with us tomorrow... or better yet, in the grad board
@sailing_mama *hugs* i'm sorry that it's taking so long. It's always nice to be able to share/talk with others in a similar journey and I'd like to hear you out and support you while you're popping in and out
@BertieMeetsGertie isn't it amazing when you work from home how much you get done?!
@Brooklyngirl6 I do the same thing to my boobs. It's just... so... tricky. I think you'd be fine testing but I would probably test the day after just in case.
Well, I am not back to work but will try to pop in periodically. Have a nice day all!
Hi Ladies! @adirat yesterday I joined the party too late and stuck with lurking, but I am so happy your RE appointment went well and you left wit an overall good feeling. These moments are so important and it is great that now you have a plan, and see a little bit what's gonna happen. Also YH is cute, mine did the same scared-dance around the SA appt. I was the same like c'mon, every time I go to the doctor nowdays he shoves sg up in my private place and makes delightful chat during. :P (sorry for TMI but it always crack me up how can the doc talk about sightseeing options during our (DH and I) getaway weekend when he is up in me elbows high
Month/Cycle: 17/13-14 that counts
CD/DPO: 22/4 (FF says 5 but I think I know it better this time
Timing: decent
Testing: not until AF is late (due on the 1st of Feb)
R/R: DH's SA results are in!!! We are still waiting for the doc to analyze it and call him, but we've received a copy of the results and based on the guidelines given for the test, it looks good *sigh* I am so relieved.. There are a few details that concern us (for instance the sample size was small.. it was only 1 ml, and the guidelines said it should be at least 1,5 ml. Does anyone has experience with it: is it a big deal that this particular sample was small? (I'll hit the search function right away, I was just so excited, wanted to share.) The number/ml is good, so is the general motility. We'll se what the doc says for the rest.
I am kind of hoping now that maybe everything is fine, and it is really just our timing was incredibely bad at the beginning... Hopefully.:) Otherwise next step my doc wants to do is examining permeability (hope it is the right word, sorry, not a native speaker) - but he does not "believe" in HSG I guess, he wants to do a small surgery (laporoscopy). Which is...
CS/Q:
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Not with the name I actually ended up with, but still funny: my Mom wanted to name me "Sunshine". Would have been wonderful. A 100 kg 14 year old named Sunshine. I think I would have been even more popular
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
@JulesDP Wow, that's just super annoying behaviour from your coworker. Cornering you like that, cause of course, what can you do..? Sorry Hopefully she'll "get well" soon
@Pinky917 So sorry about your job situation. I know things with the new administration will be tough for you guys in the US. I'm still wishing this huge change-wave will dial back eventually.
@Sailing_Mama I had one freakisly long cycle since I temp, and O happened finally on day 30. I had another long cycle about a year before that, I believe O was also around day 30-33 then. Sorry if I missed it, did you have long cycles before? It's just my humble opinion, that our bodies just love f**ng with us, so everything is possible. I imagine late O cycles like our body is trying to get in gear, but keeps missing it....until it finally happens, when the starts (hormones) finally align.
@wabash15 Happy to hear DS is doing better As for your cycle: hold on there girl, +1 day LP does not sound so bad , temps are stupid, let's see what tomorrow brings!
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
@BertieMeetsGertie : Yeah, my dad wasn't really thinking that one through. Apparently my mom was pretty upset with him for awhile. But he has a habit of doing things like that often, so she is now used to it after 32 years of marriage.
@Brooklyngirl6 FYI I also have short LP and it was the first thing my RE attributed our lack of pregnancy to yesterday l (and the first thing he wants to treat). It's worth asking a doctor if it doesn't get longer.
@anna_1021 Thanks friend! Good hear about the SA. I'm confused about why your doc would go to laparascopy befote hsg though. I also wouldn't want surgery when there is another option...
@bertiemeetsgertie He confirmed that after nine cycles of LP not getting longer, it should be treated and is not caused by having been on birth control pills. During our testing cycle, he'll give me progesterone supplementation, then I'll do an cycle with letrozole. He thinks that since I am ovulating but not producing enough progesterone from the corpus luteum to sustain a full LP, a medicated cycle may produce a "stronger" ovulation in which there is enough progesterone for a good LP.
In yesterday's u/s he saw the corpus luteum but it was small. He also took 7dpo bloodwork yesterday to see what my progesterone numbers are. Things may change if the numbers are weird I suppose.
@wabash15 Sorry your body is messing with you, but happy to hear DS is finally feeling better!
@sailing_mama Sorry this has been a stressful cycle for you. I am not the best at interpretting charts, but here's to hoping it was O and you get to move on soon!
@dragonfly87 Your name story cracks me up, although I don't even know what I would do if DH did that to me!! I so wish I could have seen your Mom's reaction when she found out!!
@Anna_1021 Happy to hear the results are looking good!Thank you everyone for all the support regarding my current job woes! As frustrating as it is I need to keep in mind that this is only temporary. Hopefully things can go back to normal sooner than later, because I am impatient !!
Re: TWW Wednesday
Month/Cycle: 8/9
CD/DPO: CD24, either 8 or 7 dpo
Timing: Either -1, 0 or 0, +1
Testing: This is the gif I will forever use when it comes to testing:
R/R: DH is already whining about how "awkward" it is to do an SA. At home, by the way. He said, "When I drive it there people will know what it is!" OMG you literally just saw me get a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday. I think I win on invasiveness.
CS/Q: I do have a question! The RE nurse gave me a bunch of samples of VitaPearl prenatals which are soy-free but do have DHA. (The ones I've been taking don't have DHA as I couldn't find any that were soy-free.) She said they can write me a prescription for prenatals instead of the regular vitamin ones I'm taking. Does anyone else do this? Is it worth it? I have to figure out whether my insurance will cover it (which would make it an obvious yes at a $10 copay) but I'm curious if there's other benefits to the prescribed over regular?
GTKY: No exciting story - they found it in a baby name book. My mom, though, was named after a character in the Bible, but her parents inadvertently spelled it differently (think Deborah vs. Debra style) and their priest was mad about it for much of her childhood.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 8/24
Timing: good
Testing: ummm so I may have POAS this morning because I am a speshul snowflake apparently... of course it was BFN.
We all danced to it at our wedding and every time the song comes on, the story gets told.
https://youtu.be/qYkbTyHXwbs
You can thank me later for having the lyrics stuck in your head all day!
Eta:link to song and say that I actually love my name and thank my Mom for not letting me be Charles or some variation.
@jess0211 @JNCPro3130 Haha I'm not trying to make it a competition because I don't want him to get anxious, but I was like...seriously dude you and two strangers just looked inside my ovaries to count follicles together yesterday.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 24/8
Timing: -3,-1,+1

@adirat -
As far as the script vs OTC , there are a couple of difference the biggest is that there is almost always more folate/folic acid.
Sorry

Month/Cycle: 8/9

R/R: Well, temps have been extra funky lately, which really is not helping my pessimism towards the subject. Also, all of my efforts in applying for new positions at work are now futile thanks to Trump's hiring freeze, so now I am stuck getting under paid for doing double the work. All together, I am currently a real friggin ray of sunshine right now!

@adirat Boys really don’t get it… Interesting question about the prenatals. If your insurance covers it, I’d go for it!
@jess0211 sorry about the BFN. For some reason, I was considering testing this morning. Why? I haven’t a clue…
@JulesDP My AF is predicted on 2/1 as well. You wanna post in the grad thread together on Monday?? (seriously, wouldn’t that just be amaze balls??)
@KristoKekerooni your chemical expertise blows my mind! Thanks, friend!!
@Pinky917 sorry that the new administration is dampening your job search. That sucks.
@wabash15 I’m so happy to hear that your DS is starting to feel better!!
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 28/9
Timing: -1, 0
Testing: probably Saturday
R/R: working from home today and I’ve already gotten a TON accomplished. Yay me!! Oh, and I’m going to a photography workshop tonight, so I’m looking forward to that. I think I already take pretty nice pictures, but you can always improve!
CS/Q: Hmm, I wonder if my mabis is favoring temps. I’ve gotten a 97.72 three of the nine days post-O.
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories?
Not really sure. My mom liked the name Josie, but my dad really liked a different name, so that’s what they went with!

@adirat I'm so glad everything went so well today, and yes, you DEFINITELY win!
@sailing_mama I'm sorry you're feeling meh but hopefully your body figures itself out next cycle (if next cycle comes!)
Month/Cycle: 4/4

Timing: Not good enough.
Testing: Not after BFN yesterday unless AF doesn't come Friday
R/R: Ugh, I woke up at 2 am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep, so no temp today, so I have no idea if it dipped or not. I'm super frustrated.

@Sailing_Mama Sorry you are feeling anxious. Hopefully you can move on to the next cycle soon and get good timing with your DH being home.
jess0211 Sorry for the BFN!
@BertieMeetsGertie Have fun at the photography workshop!
Month/Cycle: 4/4 2 TTCAL
CD/DPO: CD 27 / 14 DPO
Timing: EOD during FW
ETA: attempted to fix most grammar errors
@wabash15 Thanks for the CS - I hope that it means the end is in sight for this cycle!

@BertieMeetsGertie Yay for having a productive day!
@wabash15 Sorry to hear your body is being confusing.
@GG620 I have been having the same struggle with my DH! I definitely prefer eating Organic when I can but he doesn't believe organic is actually a real thing. lol So he just gets mad because to him I'm just buying more expensive food. (Insert eyeroll emoji)
@dragonfly87 That is a great suggestion to check out costco. We don't have a membership but have been wanting to get one.
@pinky917 Oh no, I haven't heard about the hiring freeze. So sorry. Hopefully it's only short term and they start hiring again soon.
@JulesDP Don't people realize that's the oldest trick in the book and everyone is onto them!? I get nervous calling in sick on a Fri or Mon because I'm afraid people will think I'm faking!
Month/Cycle: TTA
CD/DPO: 21/4
R/R: DH is traveling for work right now and we spent our only conversation yesterday fighting. He is annoyed that I have been talking to my friends about the fact I'm off BC and what has been going on with my cycle. He thinks it's supposed to be "private". I had to explain to him that I have been having these conversations with my friends for the past 14+ years. I also find tracking to be extremely interesting and exciting. Science is awesome.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories?
My parents were told I was a boy until the day I came into the world. They didn't have a girl name picked out for me at all, I was supposed to be a Sean. So my aunt suggested my name and they just went with it.
Good morning ladies!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: CD15 DPO4
Timing: Missed 1 day during FW
Testing: Not until 2/7.. AF due 2/5
@kmac09 sorry about the bfn *hugs*
@dragonfly87 sending good vibes your way
@Brooklyngirl6 I do the same thing to my boobs. It's just... so... tricky. I think you'd be fine testing but I would probably test the day after just in case.
Well, I am not back to work but will try to pop in periodically. Have a nice day all!

Which is...

GTKY: Why were you given your name? Any fun stories? Not with the name I actually ended up with, but still funny: my Mom wanted to name me "Sunshine". Would have been wonderful. A 100 kg 14 year old named Sunshine. I think I would have been even more popular
