I didn't have any particular goals other than trying to at last go for a walk every day and not go crazy with giving into cravings.
I did walk almost every day so I'm happy about that but as far as food goes, I'm just trying to eat whatever looks appealing at this point. M/S is difficult.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
Still trying to stay active even though all I want to do when I get home from work is nap on the couch.

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
I have my first appointment on Friday at 8+1 and I'm anxious to see my little jelly bean but also super anxious about what the doctor will say regarding my weight.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity crush? Bonus points for pictures.
Jesse Williams from Grey's Anatomy is a total stud. Those eyes!

In all honesty, my goal for this week was to not vomit. I sat in the floor dry heaving for 10 minutes without actually vomiting on Sunday, so I shan't be making that particular goal again.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
This week I shall try to eat a vegetable without gagging. Baby steps, y'all... I'm struggling.

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
    The nausea... OMG

GTKY: Who is your celebrity crush? Bonus points for pictures.
UMM... I have several, lol. I shall return with a collage, just for y'all ;)

@HollyGolightly09 this made my day! Based on Sam Hueghan I'm guessing you are also an Outlander fan? Have you read the books as well?
Also, I'm in the same boat with the nausea. It gets to the point where I just want to vomit to feel better but I can't. Sea Bands are helping though. Have you tried those?

  • @SuzieMay827  Yes! It is probably my all time favorite book series (well, that and Harry Potter, lol). I feel like they've done a great job with the show!
I have sea bands and couldn't really tell a difference... I can't be 100% sure I had them on correctly, though.

My main goal was not to vomit, which I somehow, miraculously managed.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
It will honestly probably end up being more of the same, because MS is kicking my ass. But I'd like to start some prenatal yoga this week, if I feel up to it.

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?

I have a few, but David Tennant outlasts them all.

Keep eating healthy and square meals. That ended on Saturday when Nausea hit, and now I just eating what my body will accept...very bland food.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
    Do not puke at work.

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
How do I keep the fact that I want to puke/am constantly nauseated under wraps for another 6wks? We have a seminar tomorrow with lunch provided, and I am petrified I am going to not like any of it, or try to and spit it out on my plate/puke.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity crush? Bonus points for pictures.
Always will be Christian Bale. mmm...

  • @lahearn18 I hear you. I had lunch with a bunch of co-workers who don't know I'm pregnant. Bit into a pickle and gagged. It took every bit of energy I had not to spit out the pickle in front of everyone. I'm still not sure how I forced myself to swallow it.

My my goals this week and last week are pretty much the same, I'm trying to eat healthy food. Sometimes I succeed and then I see a Girl Scout cookie. Those things are evil.

I have a thing for nerdy boys. Xander on Buffy was a big crush for me.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?10,000 steps a day and lots of water

Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns? My appointment is tomorrow I am a little nervous to see the scale. I haven't weighed myself in weeks.

  • Did you have any goals for this past week? And if so, how did they go?
My goal was not to gain weight and to eat healthier. Success on both counts! Thankfully all I have been craving are fruits, fresh quick pickled cucumbers, and lots of spinach salads.
Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
Same goals really. Also to start working out / exercising more.
    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
I actually lost 7 pounds over the last two weeks! Yay! I started this pregnancy at 40 pounds overweight according to the weight my doctor says is healthy for my height. I'm hoping to keep the weight gain to my OB's recommended 15-20 pounds.
  • Hey Ladies...any suggestions of places to get plus size maternity bras that don't suck (I prefer thin straps and underwire). Thanks for any suggestions. :)

  • Did you have any goals for this past week? And if so, how did they go?
My goals were to have a salad for lunch everyday and to walk everyday. I only had a salad once this week. I did walk once and attended a Zumba class today.
Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
To go to Zumba twice next week and to continue staying away from sweets and too many carbs.
    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
I'm worried I won't be able to keep from my coworkers noticing my new habits of being late to work and all the doctor appointments

  • Did you have any goals for this past week? And if so, how did they go?
Been trying to drink more water but I feel like that was SO much easier before I got pg. I love water but my stomach just has no desire to drink it. Also, my goal is 8,000 steps and I'm only reaching about 6-7k at the most. It's hard with a desk job. =\

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?
Keep drinking water! If I can reach to even half my goal, I'll know I'm making progress.

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?
I'm a little worried about the 20 lb cap I've been given on my weight gain. I've already gained 6 lbs so I'm getting nervous. It's been SO hard to try and eat better and walk more, but I know I just have to push myself. =\

GTKY: Who is your celebrity crush? Bonus points for pictures.
I have a small handful, lol, but Charlie Hunnam & Chris Hemsworth are usually at the top:

Mommy to Gabriel (12) and Isaiah (10) and Step-Mommy to Danely (17), Diego (9) and Leo (4). Trained doula going for certification!
    5 losses (2002-6 wks, 2004-9 wks, 2005-11 wks, 2015-7 wks & 5/27/2016-19 wks)

  • Did you have any goals for this past week? And if so, how did they go?

to not fall asleep at work. I succeeded. But maybe I'll bring a blanket for car naps. I have a long day and a long commute. I work till 6:15 and have a 45
minute commute each way. I leave the house around 8:45 am each day.

Do you have any goals for this upcoming week?

Maybe I should start exercising..... eating veggies without gagging. And lay off the carbs.......

    Rants/Raves/Questions/Concerns?

im concerned with gaining too much weight. but I know it will come off.
