I've been stich with coughing and congestion for 3 weeks. I can't kick it! Stupid pregnancy making my immune system weak and preventing me from taking good drugs!
@GhanimaAtreides an aspirin mask has always done the best for me when my face would randomly break out... takes away redness and inflammation. I'm not sure about using it while pregnant, though. I wonder how much of the aspirin would actually get in your system? Is the dullness from it being dry, do think? If so... argon oil really helps mine. I don't put it all over, just on the spots I have bad dryness.
Do not use aspirin in any way while pregnant. Salycilates cause birth defects.
I am so tired of feeling so awful. I want to bitch about being so sick ALL the time. I want to cry and I am so behind in work. Report cards are due to admin tomorrow and I don't have them ready at all. I don't know how I'm going to survive. I just hate how I feel.

Ugh, same here. Except it's only been about 4 days for me. I shudder to think how long it might last. Hope you feel better soon!
@wellhithen I text my DH almost very day about what a terrible idea getting pregnant again was, even though this is my second and I knew what I was in for this time. I feel you. I'm praying for the nausea to stop before 18 weeks this round.
Ive always struggled with my skin! I had to do accutane when I was younger.
My my skin was doing well but is now reacting to the hormones. I am doing all natural things the best is using apple cider vinegar toner (1 part vinegar, 2 parts water if it's too intense more water, you don't want it to be drying, it actually helps condition!). It's better to use unpasteurized but I don't take any risks so I use pasteurized. I also use the charcoal bar and mask from beautycounter. Their products are amazing and ingredient lists are extensive so you know if it's safe. Also water and less sugar. I use a tiny amount of pure whipped coconut butter on my face. Has to be tiny or you'll get greasy. It has antibacterial qualities. Last one, change your pillow case a lot and wear a loose cotton shirt that covers your back and shoulders but let's your skin breathe so your skin doesn't get dirty on your sheets or your SO. Good luck, you probably already know a lot of these but i really feel like they help.

I know it, DH definitely is to blame on this, the timing is not great and it was a surprise so he feels bad since I'm SO sick this round. It's my 3rd round and I threw up past 20 with the other two. It's so rough. I am in survival mode at work and come home and lay down until I can go to sleep.
I grew up in Colorado, I love it there. I wanted to move that way again but couldn't get a job there! It's one of the best places to live!

No, a ton of us have to take a baby aspirin to prevent blood clots. Our OB wouldn't recommend a baby aspirin if it caused birth defects.

The nausea is so intense!!! My DH made the mistake of saying "maybe you just can't handle being pregnant dear." Needless to say he's in deep water for a while!
@GhanimaAtreides Tea tree oil works wonders. It's safe to use topically while pregnant so long as you don't rub it everywhere. There's a product line that uses tea tree oil that diluted so it's not as harsh for use as a face wash. Only use it every other day though because it's very drying. If interested I'll find the bottle.

I'm so frustrated. The nausea is totally killing me. I don't remember being this sick with my first. I feel so guilty because as soon as I get home from work I lay down in bed. I feel like a neglectful mom to DD but SO does take excellent care of her. I apologize to her over and over for not being able to do much. She just sweetly replies, "that's okay mom. There's a baby in there and it's making you sick."
I know it's not Monday but my bitchfest needs to be today.
I'm pissed about having to come into work during freezing rain mixed with snow storm. The buses are are cancelled to keep the children safe. It seems a little silly for me to pack my child in a car and put his safety along with my own and my little beans at risk because "we all have to work". not to mention I have a 45 minute commute on a clear day.
I took a small square of sheer fabric, plopped down just over a Tbsp of uncooked rice, a few drops of tea tree oil, and secured with a no-metal hair tie. Threw it in the microwave for 20 seconds and held it on the three most irritated bumps for several minutes each.
Today the swelling/pain/redness is significantly reduced!
