Re: STM + Check In
6 weeks 6 days
Currently just tired. Thankful every day that I dint have morning sickness!
Just tired of the VA. If they continue being difficult I may give up and have this baby in the woods.
Buying ALL the baby things. I am super excited about this baby but just the baby...not all the stuff. Going to keep it minimal this time around.
We went to the DR for our honeymoon but my favorite place to vacation is Cabo.

I am very nauseous and have been extremely fatigued with a headache thrown in every other day. I had a very smooth first pregnancy so this is definitely different for me.
I am just currently emotionally overwhelmed and feel like I am in a rut. So much needs to get done around the house that only gets done if I do it and I've been feeling so ill that I haven't accomplished much in a while on top of working full time, pursuing my bachelor's degree and taking care of my 8 year old.
I wasn't worried at all the first time around. I had a very nonchalant attitude. This time I am a lot more nervous and feel like I have a million more things to do.
Living in Guam was like a vacation for me. Great food, beautiful scenery. Other than that I truly enjoyed new Smyrna beach in Florida. Simply because it was associated with great memories with my SO.
5 weeks, 2 days
Nausea kicked in today, I was throwing up everything I ate/drank. Last time I had nausea and fatigue, but never threw up.

So incredibly bloated. I'm bloated to the point of pain, almost. And also I'm exhausted. I don't remember being this tired with my first.
Im currently watching my DH do the house hold laundry while I bump and drink coffee. Amazing.
Maybe getting the crib before I turned 30 weeks, but in my defence it I wanted the entire room to be finished and my SIL was getting us the crib and putting it off.
Im such a hermit, we never got a honeymoon because we got pregnant too fast. But I have enjoyed a road trip out west to Alberta. So gorgeous.

So far no MS but that usually doesn't hit me until 6 weeks. I am feeling like my hemorrhoids from my last pregnancy are bothering me again. I really hope that doesn't get super bad.
I'm having some anxiety today. Not sure what it's about but I'm ready to be done with it and feeling calm.
I stressed about having the nursery just perfect and with my last, he didn't even have one. Now, I have everything I could possibly need so I have no reason to stress.
Hawaii for both answers. It's so beautiful there.
Edit: spelling
With DS, I had bad nausea and a little fatigue. This time I'm so exhausted all day, with the added bonus of starving all the time plus random nausea. I just don't understand being nauseous and starving at the same time! I'm gagging again at strong smells and brushing my teeth.
DH has been amazing. He's taken over all the poopy diapers, bc I gag when I smell them. I'm trying so hard, but keeping up with a 14m toddler has been difficult with this much fatigue.
I'm not sure that it was silly, but a name. We literally didn't have one until about a week before DS was born, and that's only bc I had Braxton's so bad that we thought it was real labor.
We went to Vail, CO at the end of June. We're planning a trip back for our 10 year anniversary in a couple years. It was just so beautiful, and I immediately fell in love with the mountains there. I want to live there some day.

7 weeks!
Pretty much the same but the exhaustion this time around is unreal. I feel perma-hungover which is brutal.
Rant: my milk has dried up and my 21month old is not having it. He cannot go to sleep on his own and has never settled on a comfort object (besides milkies) so he's been miserable. My little velcro baby is just having such a hard time
Got engaged on a cruise in December and celebrated a little too much and that's where we got pregnant. We only went on the cruise for his sisters wedding and think we had more fun than they did. We were already thinking of booking one for November 2017 until we found out we were expecting. We took a Carnival cruise to Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel. We had the best time of our lives. If you ever do a cruise I suggest upgrading to a balcony room!

@ColoradoHiker We have the same poop problem here. DD is potty trained by DH has to do the wiping because I gag.

Nausea, but not as bad as my previous 2 PGs. Extreme tiredness like the others. I've noticed the heart palpitations with this PG.
Wish my husband would be more sympathetic to my PG self when I'm not up for anything lol
Nothing really. I'm a planner so I'll probably be just as crazy lol
We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon! It was the only place my H and I have gone to together (besides our annual beach trip and a handful of long weekends in nearby cities)
I like all of the islands I've gone to, I'll vacation anywhere. Would've loved to have traveled more but my H has no desire so we had kids. Hoping to when we're older.

All day queasiness, tired, hungry, sensitive nipples, bloating. Exactly like my first.
rant: my parents neighbors dog pissed me off this morning. It freaking barks all the dang time!! And like a I would eat you bark, not an annoying bark. It's nails on a chalk board to me and we have 3 dogs!
we honeymooned in Sorrento and Rome, Italy. We talk about going back to the amalfi coast all the time.
One of my favorite vacations was when we went to Moab, Utah this fall and stayed at a beautiful ranch that was kid friendly *score*. We went to the Arches national park. It was beautiful and I've traveled all over!
I've been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit but I'd have to say my favorite was South Korea.
Rant: I really wish I could enjoy this pregnancy more. I feel like I live in constant fear of a m/c after having a loss last month. It really robbed me of my pregnancy innocence, so to speak.
Making sure I bought all of the baby stuff before he got here, even things he wouldn't use for months like a jumperoo. We lived in a small apartment at the time so it was super cramped for no reason. As a PP said, definitely going minimal and taking things slower this time.
Hmmm... probably Universal Studios. Admittedly I haven't done a lot of traveling though. We do the Wisconsin Dells every year and that's always fun. I love theme/water parks.
Rave because I had an early ultrasound today due to spotting last week and everything looked fab.
**Honeymooned in Europe...did a 12-day cruise out of Barcelona where we stayed a day before and after the cruise. Went to France, Italy, Greece and Croatia.

What symptoms are you having? How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? Nausea all day, everyday & tons of cramps. I have sub chorionic hemorrhages surrounding the uterus which are causing a ton of cramping. Definitely didn't have that the last pregnancies.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Our new duty station is not at all what we expected & we miss our families and the States so much. We are rurally stationed and 14 hours difference than all of our friends & families. The struggle with being here is huge. We've been AD for 17 years and this is by far the most difficult we've ever had it. Pregnancy is never easy for me--we've had 5 losses, so going it 'alone' is rough.
What is one thing you stressed about getting done before you had your first baby, that looking back was silly?
As a few PPs have said, 'stuff' for baby. So silly, since we have two littles and are currently stationed overseas with little extra space. We will be minimalists this time.
GTKY: Where did you go on your honeymoon OR where is your favorite place you've vacationed?
An Alaskan cruise was our honeymoon--we got preggo the month after we got married, so I was 18 weeks when we were on the cruise, so still a blast.
I'm having really bad nausea and I'm positive it was not this bad last time. I had to get some Phenergan from my OB to cope with it.
Rant/Rave: My husband was being really good about helping me around the house lately and I was really bragging about him, then all of a sudden he stopped. Like, he's "too tired" after work to help me out. He thinks he works harder than I do. I know his job is high stress, but he just sits in a chair all day checking loops for an oil and gas company. I'm actively teaching all day - on my feet, engaging children, making learning fun. UGGH!
I constantly worried about my little baby before I could feel it move and every OB appointment was a million years away. I was so relieved when I saw/heard a heartbeat at each appointment. I really don't feel that way this time. The time is going by real fast!
We went to California for our honeymoon. We started in San Diego and drove up the coast to the Red Wood Forest and back to SD. We spent two weeks just being tourists and doing touristy things!

April Siggy Challenge
7 AM is hard. That's when I feel sickest, and also when I start work. Sit-ups are usually involved.
Honeymooned in Montebello
I've had a wicked cold for almost 2 weeks and last night it got really bad. I had a terrible sinus headache, couldn't stop sneezing, couldn't breath. To top it of kiddo was super duper needy and DH was out of town so I couldn't tap out. All I wanted was for the kid to go the F to sleep so I could nurse my cold, but no apparently kids don't generally get tired until actual bedtime.
We went to Greece for our honeymoon. It was beautiful.

"I'm having fruit salad for dinner. Well, it's mostly just grapes, actually. Ok all grapes. Fermented grapes. Fine, I'm having wine for dinner."
Fewest symptoms out of all of my pregnancies... trying to enjoy that.
No no rants or questions
I stressed about crib bedding... then only used the sheet. What a waste of money.
We went on a Carribean cruise for our honeymoon.

Im kinda feeling like a failure in the mom department. Ive been barely able to stay awake past 6pm, and my DH and DD have been left to figure out dinner on their own. Im grateful for him right now for taking charge... while I keep reminding him that it will get better... I hope.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? So much better, I was sick from the get go with my DD so I'm praying I'm spared this time around (not likely lol)
And I never got a honeymoon, but we were full-time RVers for 2 years up until recently. "Families that travel together, stay together!" is our motto....looking forward to many more adventures as we grow our family!
