just had an endocrinologist appt today. It took two months to get an appointment to get my thyroid checked out. Hoping blood work comes back quickly so we can figure out medication. Hypothyroidism during pregnancy (untreated) scares the crap out of me. No OB appt until February. 

Any new symptoms or changes?  
I feel human again! No more morning sickness and when I get home from work I don't feel the NEED to crash on the couch. I would g say I have a lot of energy back. But enough to make it to my sons bedtime lol. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? 
 I am so relieved because I have not gained any weight this pregnancy yet, even though I'm showing. This time in my last pregnancy I had gained close to 20 pounds. Since I already started overweight, I am so glad my weight is being kept in check so far! 

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?!
My BFF was dating my husbands brother. They set us up on a blind date when I was 16 & we had such a great time. We went to see Mission Impossible 3 as a double date. The next day my SO asked me to go to Olive Garden on our own date ❤️ (Soup & breadsticks are definitely the way to my heart haha) We were very quickly inseparable. We have been together for ten years now. My best friend and his brother broke up right after we started dating and we no longer talk

How far along are you? 21 weeks

How big is baby?  A carrot. Ironically, I'm munching on some right now. 

Appointment updates? AS was Monday and baby looked perfect! My SCH is GONE and my placenta is posterior, far away from my cervix. All extremely ideal for my hopeful VBAC! 

Any new symptoms or changes?  Lots of cramping/pulling. I can tell he's in a growth spurt as I swear my belly is growing an inch a day. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? DS and I were in a car accident Monday which was so so scary. My car luckily was not totaled and our local GMC/Chevy dealership will have it done Monday! I'm surprised and pumped my Terrain will be back with me so soon! Driving around a rental car isn't my ideal situation. And it smells like smoke. Gross. 

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?!

DH and I were in the dorms together in college. Became super close friends for two years and then decided one day to try out dating. 12 years knowing each other, 10 years together and 5 years married. He's honestly my best friend. We balance each other well and I literally cannot even explain how much I love that man in words. I know, sappy and silly, but it's just the truth. I am lucky to have him.

Appointment updates? Nothing until the 31st, still so happy that my ultrasound went well last week!

Any new symptoms or changes?  I'm finally loving food again and want to eat all. the. things.  Anything with cheese still sounds amazing and anything with chicken sounds disgusting.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Even with my anterior placenta I'm finally REALLY feeling the baby move!!  And a few times from the outside, so I'm hoping that my kids will be able to sit with me on the couch and feel it soon! (it will also give me an excuse to make them cuddle me )

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?!  We met my sophomore/his freshman year of college.  We were in the same choir together and were just friends/acquaintances until the end of my Junior year.  I always thought he was sooooo cute, but he was clueless, and I finally had to ask him out  We went and got pizza and saw Troy, and have been together ever since- 13 years!

Movement is getting more and more consistent and I love it! I just wish he'd flip, however, and quit kicking my bladder.

He and my cousin grew up together in Oklahoma, and we met one summer when I came up to visit (from Houston) in 7th grade.

I've been more fatigued lately but I blame this on having more trouble sleeping at night. I'm so tired all day.

I'm excited to be almost halfway through. I just want this baby already.

We met at work. It wasn't well received when we started dating But, we both quit and work in a MUCH better field now, so it worked out.

@CurlyMommy416 Chicken has been my main food aversion since the beginning. I've finally given up on trying to reincorporate it.

Any new symptoms or changes?  
I'm feeling her for sure these days. It's really freaking cool. I'm enjoying these days where her movements are light and cute while they last. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? 
Anyone use just a general long body pillow rather than a pregnancy pillow for comfort? I really don't want to buy a pregnancy pillow but don't think I can hold out much longer with the regular pillows I have. 

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?!
He introduced himself to me at a local open mic in college (he had seen me perform elsewhere) but I was the one who got his number and started the ball rolling after a couple months of being in the same places all the time.

@meilay I just use a regular body pillow. It works well for me and was so much cheaper than a specialty one.

Appointment updates? Nothing until 2/1

Any new symptoms or changes?  Some insomnia is kicking in - was up for 2 hours the other night for no good reason. Otherwise, still feeling pretty good. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Not thrilled with the eye infection DD passed my way - doc couldn't prescribe eye drops (nothing safe enough for pregnancy, apparently) so I'm sticking gooey ointment in my eye 6 times a day. Bleh. 

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?! At a training program for work - total fluke since we were living in different countries at the time.

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?! We met on plenty of fish.com.  Ended up realizing we grew up a mile from each other but because of district lines went to different schools.

Appointment updates? regular appt today went great. Anatomy scan tomorrow..getting impatient and excited. If everything continues to go well this will be the only ultrasound I have so Im anxiously awaiting seeing baby and knowing he or she is doing ok.

Any new symptoms or changes?  I actually feel great. Ive been sleeping good and have tons of energy. Taking it while it lasts.

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?! we both started at the same company after college. I was casually dating the person he sat next to and a group of us all became friends. He convinced the guy to break things off with me and then totally swooped in. He told me he loved me before we even went on a date and I knew I would marry him pretty much on that first date. We've been inseperable ever since. 7 years together, 4 years married.

OB on Monday, then Endocrinologist and my formal AS next Friday! Already had an early AS, but they couldn't see the heart, so looking forward to getting a good look of everything this time around.

Insomnia...but, better energy overall (ironic)

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?!
Was in my lighter year of Peds residency, so actually made an effort to be social in general. We met at a cousin's BBQ that summer and kept casually running into each other at various get togethers. Started dating in the fall and have been together every since (8yrs this summer, married 5yrs this Oct.).

Rants/Raves/Questions? Going to see a physical therapist about my uncontrollable bladder. I thought it was just how things were going to be after having a baby but my midwife says there's help.

GTKY: How did you and your SO meet?! my best friend and his friend were dating. They broke up about 1 month after we met. lol
