How far along are you? 16 weeks!

How big is baby? Avocado, can of pop, Batman action figure

Upcoming appointments this week? nothing until anatomy scan on 1/31

Any new symptoms or changes? not really. Just impatiently waiting to be able to feel the little miss wiggling around in there. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? related to above...it boggles my mind that there is something the size of a freaking avocado wiggling around in my uterus and I can't feel it. WTF. 

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? IDK why I picked this question because I am terrible at picking 'favorites'. We watch way too many shows. Game of Thrones, all the TGIT shows, Chicago Fire/PD/Med, and lately we have been into This Is Us. Oh we also just started watching Jessica Jones on Netflix.  There are more but I'll stop now.

How big is baby?  lemon, scoop of ice cream, matchbox car, jalepeno, clownfish... haha i love the comparisons, although they all seem pretty different sizes.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing really new, insomnia is back and it's HORRIBLE.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm so exhausted.  Waiting on my NIPT results so I can officially announce. 

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? Currently it is "This is Us."  It's such an awesome show!

Morning sickness is getting better. Still have some rough days of it though. Headaches have started.

How far along are you? 
15 weeks, and it feels both super fast and super slow at the same time. And also a little uneventful. Through 14 weeks I was always getting somewhere and had major changes every week. Now I'm just sort of strolling through pregnancy, waiting for the baby to get here. 
How big is baby? 
Navel orange! Not to be morbid, but the baby is the size of an orange and I can't feel it?? This is why cancer doesn't get diagnosed. A whole wiggling orange is in there and I would have no idea.

No. Still fighting with these nut jobs to get into a different practice 
Any new symptoms or changes?
More energy, no nausea unless I eat something that doesn't go right, pretty much just sailing along now.

Wherefore art thou bump? I was bloated through 12 weeks, but now the bloating has gone down and it just looks like I gained a few pounds. I almost look less pregnant because I'm not bloated anymore. Where the heck is this orange hiding? And how did all of the 3 pounds end up squarely on my stomach? 
GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? 
Doctor Who is in a fierce competition with How I Met Your Mother. 

Also, love that this is a tickler change. My husband keeps tickling my stomach because he knows the baby can feel it and is probably freaking out. He gets a kick out of it. I love how much he's already playing and bonding with the baby. I so thought he would feel nothing for the baby until the LO was born.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had one on Monday- everything went well but just feeling blah about my doctor. I made an appointment with a midwife that is attached to the practice so hopefully that is a better fit.

Any new symptoms or changes? Headaches are killer but thankfully i don't get them too often. Also I just feel like my uterus is really heavy and in flux (obviously.) I keep feeling the pulling/tugging sensations.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope!

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? Golden Girls has a special place in my heart. I also love Seinfeld, The Sopranos, Orange is the New Black, GOT, and Breaking Bad. There are too many great shows to pick just one.

  GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? Game of thrones and modern family. Half the time watching GOT my head is under the covers as it's so violent and gory but the characters and storyline are amazing.

How far along are you? 16 weeks

How big is baby? Ovia said Avocado for 15 weeks, but now TB is saying that for this week. This week, Ovia says dill pickle so I'm going with that. 

Upcoming appointments this week? one coming up on Tuesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? Can anyone relate to lower back pain, or specifically tailbone pain? My tailbone has been sore for the last 1.5 weeks, and sitting at a desk all day does not help it any. It feels better laying down and in the morning, but it feels sore all day when I'm at my desk. I think I need a chair cushion to help relieve some of the pain. Is anyone else feeling anything similar or have you in the past?

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just feeling kinda discouraged about some personal things this week. DH and I have such busy schedules. On a lighter note, I may have felt movement for the first time this morning. My bladder was full upon waking, and my stomach was really hard, I'm assuming from my uterus being pushed up. I rolled to my side and felt two light "pops" just below my belly button. It was different than a gassy feeling, and I didn't even have gas when I woke up, just a full bladder. Now I'm hyper sensitive to every twitch haha.

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? The Office. It's been off the air for years but I still watch it every day on Netflix. Also I love the walking dead.

Any new symptoms or changes? definitely starting to feel some pulls/tugs. Also, was standing at a meeting today for about 20 minutes when I started feeling light headed and dizzy. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm waiting for bump to make an appearance as well!! Nothing at all! How is a peach down there and it doesn't show lol

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? we have netflix and hulu so this is a tough choice. We love our shows! Gossip girl, scandal, this is us, stranger things all have been high on our lists. Lol oh and can't forget the bachelor/bachelorette!!

Any new symptoms or changes? Still have horrible acne, vomiting almost every morning, and headaches. I can't say that 2nd tri is any sort of an improvement. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Over the last few weeks, my hair has started falling out. At first it was just a little in the shower, now it's coming out in clumps. I've heard of hair loss after baby is born, but never during pregnancy. I know this is just a vanity thing but it has me really down. I'm going to ask my doctor about it next week but I have a feeling there isn't much I can do except deep condition and avoid hot tools, which I've been doing for several weeks now.

GTKY: what is your favorite TV show? I also love This is Us, I would also add House of Cards!

@CrystalPDX The hair loss may actually be either a vitamin deficiency or just a general reaction if you've been really sick for a long time. I'm pretty sure people with bulimia (obv. you don't have this, you're sick because you're pregnant) lose their hair.

@kerils that makes so much sense I don't know why that wasn't obvious to me. I have been a little concerned that I'm not keeping enough food down for baby, I still haven't gained any weight. Will see what doctor says!

I haven't gained much weight either. At my last appointment, my doc suggested adding ensure (or something similar) to my daily diet.
