We have an American bulldog and a great Dane. Come May, we will also be adopting my in-laws kelpie / pit mix since they aren't able to take him with them when they go back to the mission field.
My Mama Diva and my doxie Spike. Have two more dogs, Oscar (black lab/Catahoula hound/mastiff mix) and Molly (Shepherd mix). Also have a cat, two rabbits, 17 chickens and three tanks of fish.
Finn- five year shitzu who think he is in charge of the universe, but is also super precious and cuddly.
Scarlett- a giant cat who is most likely part Maine Coon. She was the sweetest cat in the world until we brought a kitten home. She's starting to get better, but still isn't her old self
Bella- tiny cat who has a pretty mild case of Manx Syndrome. We have lots of bathroom related issues with her, but she is super sweet.
Sasha- 9 week old husky puppy. Beautiful, very smart, and 98% pure energy. The only good pictures I have of her are 3 weeks old because recently they are just a blur.
Are you guys ready for my pets? We have two HAIRLESS guinea pigs named Hippo and Dermis. Here's the two of them: Hippo is the albino one and Dermis is the ginger. They were my Christmas gift two years ago, and I'm complete obsessed with them. Here's a statuesque one of Dermis: And here's both of them hanging out in their cage. You can tell who's the dominant pig by who's allowed to be on the bed:
@minidoxigirli I have to know... how do you get them to be actual pets and not just terrified creatures you keep fed and sheltered? My DH had three guinea pigs when we got married. One has since died, so now there are two... I have never had any kind of pets like that and have been trying to figure out what the point even is, lol. I know that sounds absolutely horrible, but we can't even touch them! Yours seem to actually enjoy you, though.
@HollyGolightly09 I wouldn't say they like me, as much as that they tolerate me. They'll hang out with me as long as I ply them with baby carrots. I enjoy watching them and their weird little distinctive personalities. I'm definitely way more into them than my DH, so I completely understand!
I have 5 pets! 2 fish a dog and 2 cats. These two are inseparable! They really love each other! This is kitty and blaze. Blaze is a lab golden retriever mix I'm not sure what kitty is we rescued him. And my other cat is bear. He is a Persian and really mean. And my two fish are beta fish. Little red and little blue.
We have three dogs, a cat, and two rats. The dogs are puddles the piggies, zen the lab mix, and sailor the American bulldog/English bulldog mix. The cat's name is meow. And the rats are salt and pepper I am mobile so sorry if these are huge
I LOVE this post. I am the dog lady I always wanted to be!
ETA: where do my posts disappear to?!?! I hate mobile bump!
Anyway, these are my girls. I'm an eternal rescuer/foster at heart, but had to stop when DS was born. Now I'll only be a safe house to a dog transitioning to foster care. I usually take the difficult/special needs dogs. Someday when the kids are older, we'll reopen our home. But for now, these girls make my day. Every day.
We have a pomsky (half pomeranian/half husky) Her name is Oakley and she is 2 years old about 19/20lbs. She has done great DD, we shall see how she does with #2.
I have a 17 1/2 year old Siamese/Tortoise shell mix named Eeyore. My 18 month old daughter freaks Eeyore out (follows her around usually screaming "kitty!", rubs her face in the cat's fur, holds her tail like a leash) , so she has to be on Kitty Xanax to treat her anxiety.
I have 5 dogs. 3 pugs and 2 lab/rot mixes. My profile pic is a painting of them. When we met, DH had the large dogs and I had the pugs. They all get along, though. Tried to post a pic of me with all of them, but it didn't work. I'll try from a computer later.
I have a 1 yr old Red Heeler/Great Pyrenees mix named Mia. She has the energy of a small puppy and a big, goofy, playful personality but can be very protective against men for some reason. I imagine it's only going to get worse now that I'm pregnant..& this is our kitty, Gheeda. She's only about 6 months old, loves to cuddle, give licks, and play, and is still just starting to get used to the idea of a dog.
I know Im late to the party, but I just have to AW my babies!
This is our siamese cat, Cambria. We adopted her from a rescue eight years ago. *tw* We got her one week after my first miscarriage, and I like to say that she rescued me as much as I rescued her.*tw* She's absolutely my baby (though she loves DH too). She'e very talkative and friendly, playful and too curious for her own good. And she is absolutely the boss of the dog, though he doesn't seem to mind.
This is Oscar, our Boston Terrier. We have no idea how old he is because he was a stray, but he's the sweetest, laziest, cuddliest guy you'll ever meet. Doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, and absolutely adores children. I can't wait to see him with our baby!
@MrsVP614 Chiweenies are the cutest! My uncle has one. I have 2 cats, a blue betta fish, a syrian hamster, and a lionhead rabbit. Babs bunny is here when we first got her - before we groomed her. This is one of her at 3 months old... She's now a year. The hamster is Mertie, he's a 1 1/2 years old - he's the sweetest hamster ever very friendly, my fiance looks after him while I'm expecting.
SQ (grey & white) and Raspy (black & white) are my two former stray cats, now though are extremely spoiled.
Here's the cats - they rule the house pretty much at the moment, they're really spoiled. They both were from shelters, and are enjoying being catered to now.
This is George he is a 5 year old Beagle and quite possibly the reason I will die one day. I've owned beagles my whole life and none have been the menice that George is. DH and DS love him more than anything and despite his overly curious personality, he's a wonderful pet!
