Someone brought in a tin of butter cookies to work. I've eaten six and smuggled some more home. Hahaha. I love those things. I qualify it because they're pretty small.
Since the weather forecast includes ice this weekend, I got out my crock pot chicken noodle soup ingredients and am excited to enjoy that on Saturday.
I didn't have a meal planned for tonight, so I asked DH to decide what he wanted to eat tonight and take it out of the freezer. He forgot. Which means this girl is going to enjoy some chocolate chip pancakes
It's my birthday we are going out to dinner tomorrow since DH had to work tonight.. I don't know if I'm in the mood to try a new place that has a ton of pub foods and entrees or if I want to go to an upscale Italian restaurant we've been to before..
Happy birthday @happyanjel! I just ate almost an entire box of fish sticks all by myself. I haven't had fish sticks in years I forgot how good they are.
I don't mean to brag, and maybe it's just that I'm 24 1/2 weeks pregnant so everything tastes Ah-mazing, but man! My dinners the last 3 nights have been on point! Tuesday we had loaded baked potato soup (already posted about that). Last night we had spaghetti. And tonight we had chicken fajita tacos. Samuel is getting a taste of some yummy food!
Latest pregnancy craving: bell peppers (red, yellow, or orange)
I followed a suggestion from a reviewer to reduce flour and sugar from 4 tbsp each to 2 tbsp each and that was the magic trick (normally I think these mug cakes are way, way too sweet and a funky texture)! This is my go-to mug cake recipe from here on out.

I made a Greek flattened chicken for dinner and dipped it in tzatziki sauce and it was amazing!
