Because I'm not allowed to show NY students the affection they need. A lot of my kiddos do not have the support and love they need at home. I wish - especially for my high schoolers, that I could really treat them the way a mom should.
Because crying was better than decking my husband in the face for his comment that I would normally let roll off my back, but of course infuriated me to tears yesterday lol
I didn't want to start another thread, so I revived this one.
All the unity from women and their supporters across the globe yesterday had me bawling. Moms with signs that said, "I fight so my daughter doesn't have to", oh the tears! Sen. Elizabeth Warren is my hero. And her speech had me in tears as well! ALL THE FEELS!!!
@PinkPrincessPiper I live in South Jersey, very close to the bottom of the state and right between the two major roads that lead through the state. I left my house on Saturday to head north around 6:30 am and for the first hour on the road, I saw nothing but bus after bus headed south towards DC. The NJ Turnpike southbound was a solid stream. On the highway, as a gray morning dawned in the background, I burst into tears at the sight of the buses multiple times.

Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
We saw the Lion King musical this weekend and I cried multiple times. I was crying HARD during Circle of Life. My H was kind of laughing at me and I pointed out that the man in front of me was crying too.
I cried hysterically on the way to my house on move-in day. Since we got pregnant we'd decided on Blakely Melissa as a girl's name, and yesterday we found out it was a girl. I've been sobbing off and on all day over her name. Even though I am in love with the name!
