Teething?

so LO has been super drolly, grumpier than usual, sleeping oddly, eating his hands for days, and warm to touch the past few days and it occurred to me he could possibly be teething. I've checked his gums a bajillion times and I don't see redness or swelling, but it's the only thing I can think might be going on. He's 12 weeks and I just read it can start around 10 weeks in some babes. Anyone else out there with a babe that might be cutting teeth?

My LO is doing the same exact things but I don't see anything either. She's always so warm that I check her temp several times a day.

  • @Ladybug2821 Because checking it only once when they constantly feel warm isn't enough right?!? I'm so obsessive about it. When DS1 was a baby and sick all the time, I forever traveled with a thermometer. I might be slightly obsessive when my kids don't feel great.
  • Baby V is a drooling machine right now at 12 weeks as well

  • Johnny has his two bottom teeth popping through already so it's possible. I noticed his on accident while he was laughing and couldn't believe it. My other babies didn't have teeth for nearly a year, so before I noticed that I thought his fussiness was just from the 3 month growth spurt/restless period and didn't even consider teeth at all. Keep an eye on those gums, but also keep in mind it's normal to have a rough patch around this time as well.
  • LO has an appt with an ENT tomorrow because her Pedi said she possibly has a cleft in her throat??  Not quite sure what that means, maybe she meant cleft palate. Honestly I don't think she has any issues but of course I'm going to make sure. But anyways, while there I will ask about teething since they'll be looking in her mouth and they are the pros.
  • @Ladybug2821 Keep us updated on the appointment tomorrow!
  • @Ladybug2821 hope your appointment goes well tomorrow! We are all too familiar with the ENT around here, but they do wonders!
