    How big is baby? lime

    Upcoming appointments this week? nope

Any new symptoms or changes? started getting dizzy spells. Has happened twice so far. First time while I was nauseous so that was fun. Headaches have also started getting more frequent.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Need to rant. Im getting really frustrated with schools and allowing students to skate by nowadays. My SD keeps getting away with not turning in assignments till sometimes 3 weeks after its due. As my husband is non-custodial parent there isn't much he can do. He does email the teachers but all they say is as long as its turned in by end of quarter they will accept it. What happened to 3 days after its due or you get a zero? All she is learning is she can do whatever she wants during homework time (her mom doesnt monitor her), turn in the paper when she wants and still pass. Her mom doesnt ground her or take her out of activities for the bad grades either.

Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?  not that I can think of.

How big is baby? A lime

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope - just saw my OB on Thursday and had another ultrasound.  4 weeks ago baby looked like a jelly bean, so seeing the update was really fun.

Any new symptoms or changes? I pretty much only feel nauseous in the late afternoon/evening, instead of all day.  And I can eat stuff other than carbs, which is great.  But, now I'm actually vomiting in the evenings, which didn't happen at all until 9.5 weeks.  It's only been once every few days, but I was surprised that the vomiting didn't start until I was feeling better overall.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Envious of those of you who have made it to second trimester.  I guess that's the downside of a due date late in the month.

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? I can't think of anything, but I don't follow fashion trends very closely (so maybe the answer is: everything in my wardrobe.  Haha)

How big is baby? a peach, a troll doll, a 1977 Star Wars action figure

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope. Just had my NT scan on Wednesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? I have SO MUCH MORE ENERGY. The 2nd tri boost is no joke. Also, I just watched a hilarious video (the polar bear mascot bloopers one) and was laughing so hard I was crying. I continued crying like my dog died once I stopped laughing and was inexplicably sad. Thanks, pregnancy.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Not yet today.

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? No (because they've already started bringing the 80s and 90s stuff back), but I know some things I wish would go OUT of fashion.

    How far along are you?
14 weeks. Officially, unquestionably second trimester! Woot woot!

    How big is baby?
There seems to be some confusion about this, but the bump is telling me about the size of a peach. In real terms, that makes babies about 3.5 inches long.

    Upcoming appointments this week?
Regular checkup on the 11th, although with twins and my bleeding, I don't know what exactly "regular" entails.

    Any new symptoms or changes?
Nope, back to "easy to forget I'm pregnant" mode over here, except for the annoying bleeding that has come back.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
My in-laws are coming to stay for a week starting today and we only had or furniture delivered three days ago. The house is NOT settled. God grant me strength.

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?
Honestly, I'm not a particularly fashionable person. I wear a lot of jeans and white t-shirts with boots or flats and in the winter, I throw a scarf, hat, and jacket with it. So what I wear isn't really something that comes and goes in or out of fashion.

  • @michelle04us I don't know about your SD's school, but that's NOT how I run my classroom.  I penalize for a single day late.  I have no patience for kids not doing their work.  Maybe that's just my school, though.

@ktewart  Mabye they can help with the "settling"?  IDK how your in-laws are, but mine would just about jump for joy if I asked them for help with something.
  • @chiquita928 At our school certain teachers are like you but the majority of the middle school teachers we have come across with SD have let her slide. They are what kept her from failing 5th grade 2 years ago and more than likely this year in 7th. They are getting frustrated with her (you can tell in emails they send) but refuse to do anything about it. Im just glad my son (5th grade this year) knows I wont tolerate late work but Ive never had to worry about him. He usually has homework done before he leaves school for the day.

  • How far along are you? 13 weeks!

How big is baby? The size of a lemon.

Upcoming appointments this week? Had my NT scan yesterday. Not good news so I'm finding it hard to be optimistic about this pregnancy.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope! Just a bit more tired. Thinking about breaking my Snoogle out since I'm having back pain while sleeping..happened to me at 15w last time and I was much happier. My month long cough finally seems to be in its way out which is great.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I HATE SNOW. AND WINTER. I always say every winter is my last in the Northeast....nope. I'll be here til I die.

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Respect for adults by children. I hate nothing more than bratty kids and parents who don't think their children's behavior is wrong.
TTC: 1/2014 BFP: 9/24 EDD: 6/8/2015 Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
  • @michelle04us The big difference is probably middle vs. high school.  I teach high school, where we mean business.  Middle schools usually do everything they can to get a child through, so they do not have students "too old" in middle school from repeating too many times.  The joys of social promotion.
  • @dancegurl1118, not good news?? What's going on, if you don't mind the question? (If it's uncomfortable to address, I understand)

  • Yeah we keep telling her that high school will be different but she doesnt care. She is only thinking of now. Our house is where she has to do homework (if its been assigned within 2 days of her coming for visit) and gets in trouble if she says she has none. Needless to say we're not seeing much of her these days.

  • @ktewart the SCH is so big and under so much of my placenta that it's just going to be wait and see to see how much it compromises the baby.

  • @dancegurl1118, ah, that news.  :/ I was worried they'd told you something specific to baby as well. I'm keeping positive for you! So far we SCH ladies have beaten these bastards off. I'm maintaining the faith that we'll all have Super Babies come July.

    How big is baby? Plum

Upcoming appointments this week? YES! NT scan on Wednesday. So excited!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We are telling my in laws next Saturday. I am dreading it. They are so overbearing and demanding, it annoys the shit out of me. The only silver lining is that they leave for a 6 week vacation the next day.

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Dressing nicely for leaving the house. I've seen too many straight up pajamas at the grocery store or post office.

  • This is my first time filling this out! I always seem to remember on Friday!

    How far along are you?

    15 weeks!

    How big is baby?
A box of crayons, a hass avocado, an eclair, a naval orange.
    Upcoming appointments this week?
Yes Friday! We get ultrasounds every appointment and I'm excited to see him again!
    Any new symptoms or changes?
Yesterday was the first day I haven't had morning sickness ALL DAY long. I didn't have to eat every 1.5-2 hours. I was able to deep clean the house for the first time since 4 weeks! Also I have felt
him move a few times which is fun!
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
First off- my bust are is out of control. I'm up like two sizes at only 15 weeks. I seriously look like I have had work done. And I had to meet my husbands new co-workers and bosses on Saturday while wearing a gown and tons of cleavage.  We had our first "cold" day and it was glorious. I wore a vest and you couldn't even tell I was preggo!
    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?

In general I'm bad at fashion. Just when I finally had winter fashion down I moved to Florida. So I have no idea what was even in fashion to come back- haha.
  • How far along are you? 11 weeks

How big is baby? a small lime

    Upcoming appointments this week? Tuesday

Any new symptoms or changes?  some are starting to dissipate, but the exhaustion is still hanging on.  Come on 2nd trimester!

Rants/Raves/Questions?  When is too early to start 'stock' piling baby needs (ie, wipes, ointments, diapers, etc)?

    GTKY:
Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?  Maybe some 1950's, where people actually dressed and took pride in their appearance.  Fleece pj pants should not be worn outside of your house...ever!

  • @sofloma yay for feeling better and having energy to clean!

@SquirttheTurtle it's never too early for diapers and wipes in my opinion, especially if there is a good sale. I might hold off on ointments because they have expiration dates.

  • How far along are you? 11+2

How big is baby?  Lime or fig

Upcoming appointments this week?  Yes! NT scan and NIPT on the 10th. I am so nervous about this appointment, because it was the beginning of the end of my last pregnancy. Fingers crossed for a healthy baby!

Any new symptoms or changes? Yes, I've started getting deep aches and stabbing pains. I was worried at first, but I'm not bleeding and I'm not doubled over in pain, so I hope it's just my uterus stretching out in there . . .
