SneakPeek Early Gender Test

Anybody done this test with a previous pregnancy? I started off strong with going team green this time, but totally fell off the wagon and ordered the test. I have it sitting on my desk and I keep chickening out- I hate having blood drawn/pricks and I can't bring myself to do it myself yet lol
Wondering if anyone has done it and it was accurate

it says it has a >99% accuracy rate, they have a Guarantee and refund policy as well!
they have the regular kit that is 5-7 day turnaround time to receive results and the Fast Track gives you results 72 hours from when you place order.
use promo code "12LIKESP" at checkout to get $12 off :) I got that from their facebook page!

I just did my sample, getting ready to mail it now!

  • You can do harmony testing at 10-12 weeks, which will give you sex results, as well as the genetic screenings for high risk stuff. I'm old so I basically have to do this, but I'm still team green.  It was fun last time. And since I didn't know I was having a girl, most of my NB stuff is neutral.

  • @CryssteenI'm sorry for the dumb question, but what is team green?! Are you not finding out the sex until you deliver? I've seen it said so many times today!

I am old too, so we will probably have the option of finding out with our NIPT bloodwork.  I want to know, my husband does not.  If I do find out, I will have to keep my mouth shut because He would be supper pissed if he found out prior to birth.  I hate this because I compromised for baby #1 if we could find out gender for #2.  Now my husband is backtracking and says he doesn't want to know even if I find out.  He also says if I do find out, I can't tell anyone because he knows others will ruin it.  *Sigh*

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I did a little googling on this product and there have been a few lawsuits against them due to false advertising of their accuracy rate.  If you're just doing it for fun to hold you over until your anatomy scan, I'd say go for it but if you're putting all your eggs in one basket with this, take caution.

    Just my two cents  :)

Ehh, I just looked that up as well...welp, that was fun while it lasted :smirk:
I'm getting 1st trimester screening done in a couple weeks, I had it done with my last pregnancy but they didn't tell me what I was having, I didn't ask, so that could be why though lol
    Oh well...
  • We have a private ultrasound clinic called sneak peek here. They do gender ultra sounds at 15 weeks. We did it with DD last pregnancy.

You are correct, Team Green = not finding out the sex until birth.

I'm sure you know but in case you don't, Team Pink = female and Team Blue = male

  • I always get a 4D Ultrasound at 14 weeks. I've gone to the same place for my past 2 pregnancies. It cost me 100$, I get pictures of the baby in black and white ultrasounds and in the 4D pictures. It always has clearly shown all the junk (both were boys). I also get a video of the entire 15 minute long ultrasound, and some baby gifts (formula, wipes, diapers, samples).

  • I heaed that rhere are some tests that tells you the gender based on hormones on your urine. However, if tou have a uti while pregnant the test might give you wrong results. To be honest, i dont think those tests are 100% reliable

@andressab yeah, I would definitely not trust the urine tests! The sneak peek test is a blood test that looks for the male chromosome in your blood, so I think it's a bit more accurate than the urine ones. But I've read a lot of reviews about the sample being contaminated with male DNA so the results come out wrong.
Personally I think ill just wait till around 15-16 weeks and go get one of the gender scans done at a local ultrasound place.

  • So I got the test results back from this test a couple weeks ago and they said it was a boy. I just got my NPT/Panorama results back, Low risk thankfully, but it confirmed a boy! I was seriously doubting the SneekPeak test, I told my OB about it and he said, ehh, don't  count on it being more than 60% accurate, lol. I asked 60%? What kind of % is that, it's either boy or girl, gotta be 50%- haha. It was enough to curb my curiosity for a little while- if we have any more, I will just wait :)
