Slow rising HCG first tri — The Bump
2nd Trimester

Slow rising HCG first tri

So I'm not in my 2nd trimester but I'm hoping some of you can help...
I just found out I was pregnant last week and since I am high risk, my doctor is checking my HCG levels every 48 hours. My levels have not been doubling. I am about 5 weeks along and my levels have been:
12/30 162
1/1 278
1/3 416

Has anyone here had slow rising levels and everything turn out to be okay? My doctor told me not to lose hope but they aren't even going up 50% so it's hard not to. I'd like to hear some positive experiences if there are any. Thank you!

Re: Slow rising HCG first tri

  • At 5 weeks I was 202 and they were worried i was going to experience a loss. A week later they were over 1000, it just took awhile to get there.

My advice, stay off google, and relax. Not everyone numbers are the same. The "normal" range is so broad.

TW** IF this is it for you, I'm very sorry.  But i had 2 losses in 3 months and am now carrying a healthy baby girl 12 months after my first loss. Good luck!
