How far along are you? 31 weeks

Upcoming appointments this week? I had a OB follow up appointment today, all is well so far! Since I am possibly borderline GD, I am not measuring large right now so that is good. Repeating my 3 hour GTT on Saturday so hopefully me watching my carbs has helped things and my results will not be worse. 

Any new symptoms or changes? Swelling continues on/off- sometimes I can't even take my ring off. I am scared that one day I won't ever be able to take it off and it will be stuck there- contemplating when I should take it off for good. It's getting more uncomfortable to sleep even with the snoogle- I was sleeping good the past couple days but last night had terrible insomnia and was up from 2:30 am (my alarm is set for 5:30 am). 

Rants/Raves/Questions? The nursery is almost finished! The only thing I have left to do is paint my flower mural on one wall which I plan to do this weekend. I'm in total nest mode!! 

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy? Probably around late 1st tri/early 2nd tri when leukorrhea really starting to increase- I was always so worried that I was leaking amniotic fluid and going to go into preterm labor and not knowing the difference so I googled that a lot. Also how to tell is it amniotic fluid or pee? lol Now I just realize its completely normal to feel like a total gross swamp down there all the time!

Any new symptoms or changes? so itchy!! Also I am having trouble with pregsomnia which is not contributing well to my energy levels 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I can't believe I'm already doing the every 2 week appointments and last one I had they said its time to register for the hospital. I need a slow mo button please.

How big is baby? estimating at 4lbs3oz and in the 76th percentile as of this afternoon at my growth ultrasound

Upcoming appointments this week? growth ultrasound was today, normal apt is tomorrow 

Any new symptoms or changes? Getting out of bed and even standing up from a seated position is like participating in an Olympic sport.  I don't know why I'm so amazed by this but I honestly never had any trouble with moving around with DD.  To be fair - this kid is on track to be almost 2 lbs heavier than she was so maybe that plays into it?  I'm sure it has nothing to do with me being enormous ...

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: WORK.  Rave: I got the rest of my baby necessities this weekend and situated a plan for the house and kids' bedroom.  I was feeling really stressed about just assuming I had everything from DD, but I really needed to get my hands into the boxes of baby stuff and situate what I needed.  A day of unpacking/rummaging and $500 at babies r us later ... I feel SO MUCH better!

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy? I can't think of anything from this one, but with my last - I doubt there was a single day that I didn't google something.  Most specifically ... "what is a comparable pain to childbirth?".  Let me just save you the nightmares and say avoid googling that.

I hope this isn't enormous ... if it is - serious AW apologies...

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes, I have one today.  I'm getting my tdap and I think just a normal appointment.  We shall see. 

Any new symptoms or changes? I've had A LOT of BH whenever I over do it and pains shooting through my vee!

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy? How do tell the difference between discharge, amniotic fluid, or urine leakage?

Have you talked to your dr about the flashing lights? I was told last week from my OB to let her know if I experienced that. I have high blood pressure as well. Just wanting to make sure you talk to your OB about that not to try and scare you.

@spartanrd4 my hand swelling is annoying & unpredictable.  I had to use soap twice to get my rings off in the last few days.  I have the same worry as you!!

@hippiemama yay for a good growth scan and 76th percentile!!

How big is baby? eggplant (which I am allergic to) or a basket of wings.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had a growth check today due to single umbilical artery.  Little lady was 2lb10oz and 55th percentile.  All looked great!  She didn't cooperate & show us her face.  See AW thread for a shot of her HAIR lol.

Any new symptoms or changes? significant increase in heartburn. More hand swelling.  

Rants/Raves/Questions? Am I the only one sick of people asking how you feel?  I feel mostly great!  I can't complain much.  I know it won't be this way forever, but I have been through so much to have this baby I don't have time to harp on small symptoms.  I would endure whatever it takes to have her safely in my arms.  I know they mean well but I feel irked by it.

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy?  probably the sleep orgasms....I was having them a lot early on.  I haven't had one in a while though.

Any new symptoms or changes? Lots more heartburn/acid reflux 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: I feel annoyed also when people ask me EVERY DAY "how do you feel?" It's like the only question they know how to ask and part of me wants to start answering "the same as I felt all the other times you've asked me" or maybe if I give them TMI about discharge/peeing/vomiting they'll stop asking. Rave: I found out today I passed my glucose test so naturally I've been having a little splurge day to celebrate by eating more sugary foods than I probably should.

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy? hmm...well before I took a test to confirm I was pregnant I suspected I was because I kept getting hiccups randomly and thought it was weird and could be a sign I was pregnant...so probably searching if hiccups were a pregnancy symptom was one of the strangest things.

@MrsBinPA wow, I'm jealous of sleep orgasms, I didn't know that was a thing!
@serenity13 I'm also tired of people asking me every day how I feel, or touching my belly every time they see me. I try to be a good sport and remind myself that it's nice that they care, but repeating myself to multiple people daily gets old.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had a re-scan for a 3d ultrasound yesterday...baby was measuring at 4lbs 6oz! Little nervous, DH's family members are all big and tall and he keeps joking with me that we're going to have a 13lb baby 

Any new symptoms or changes? Tons of heartburn/reflux. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Our nursery is finished! My mom, sisters, and aunts surprised us with the finishing touches and decorations as their baby shower gift to us. It looks great and I am sooo thankful-I just don't have a knack for home decorating stuff like that, but it is so cute and I feel so good knowing that the nursery is finished. 

GTKY: What's the strangest/funniest pregnancy-related question or symptom that you've googled during your pregnancy? Probably the boob related stuff. I was really surprised how early the boob changes happened, especially the leakiness! It really threw me off and it was just super unexpected.

Upcoming appointments this week?  Had one last week and passed my glucose test.  My midwife said it was actually extremely low, and that I should make sure to eat proteins and fats for my snacks, and to eat every 2-3 hours.  Who in the world has time for that???

Any new symptoms or changes? Enjoying the dance party in my belly!!  Definitely getting bigger. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? My sister and Mom had a small baby shower for me over the holidays.  It  was really sweet and intimate.  Just a few of my friends came over for dinner and a few games.  I won't get to see them until after the baby is here so it meant a lot to me.
