NYE Miracle? **TRIGGER WARNING**

Hey ladies. This post is kinda crazy.
I've been around here for quite a while. Some of you may remember when I went through 3 failed IUIs, IVF in August, got sidetracked in September, and had a failed FET with a PGS normal in October. Then I got 2 back-to-back ERA biopsies that were super painful and got a very confusing result. I took a cycle off in December and I am currently "prepping" for FET #2 in January..
..except that I never got my period. I have been spotting since Christmas, but no flow. I half-heartedly POAS (Wondfo) yesterday and forgot about it before going in the shower. I was surprised to see a 2nd line when I remembered to look. But I chalked it up to evap.
Except that I took a FRER an hour later. And there was very clearly a line. Two pink lines. MY FIRST EVER.
I freaked out- my husband did too. I called my on-call IVF nurse yesterday and she scheduled me for beta first this this AM.
GUESS. WHAT. Beta = 177.
That's right. IVF didnt work (yet), IUI didnt work, countless months of trying on my own or with TI + femara didnt work. But I take 1 cycle break, that I don't even track, AND I HAVE MY FIRST EVER POSITIVE??????
Obviously anything could happen and this may very well not be viable. But I can't help but feel so thankful for this tiny miracle in my life. Grow, little poppy seed, grow.

@omarismyhomeboy CONGRATS. This is such a great thing ti hear!!! My niece did 7 IVF cycles , all of which failed except 1 (loss to miscarriage)
Then, the same exact thing happened to her. She got preggo on her own, and had a healthy baby boy. Prayers and continued blessings. Grow baby grow!

I'm just a lurker, but I wanted to say congrats! The human body is amazing and full surprises
I was told for years I would need to do IVF to get pregnant. In fact, H and I did not use birth control of any sort for many years, and aside from one chemical pregnancy, we never got pregnant in five years. We started the IVF process when we were ready to have kids, which involved surgery to remove my fallopian tubes (one was full of fluid, the other we were told didn't work b/c of scarring). The doc was only able to remove the fluid-filled tube - the other one had scar tissue surrounding it, and removing it would have damaged my ovary. So she left it, but still said it didn't work.
We planned to start hormone injections for IVF last February, but my cycle never started. Turned out I was pregnant naturally, with the one "damaged" tube! Unfortunately that pregnancy ended in miscarriage a few weeks later due to a chromosomal abnormality, but we kept trying and 3 months later I was pregnant again. We're expecting our rainbow baby next month, pretty much a year to the day from my miscarriage, and just over a year from when we were supposed to start IVF.
Just a testament to how amazing resilient the human body is. Best of luck to you, and again - congratulations!
