Appointments this week? We had our anatomy scan this morning. Baby's lookin' good!
Symptoms? Occasional heartburn and queasiness that returns if I don't eat regularly. And I've outgrown yet another bra. I need to go shopping.
Rants/Rave/Questions? I'm just really, really sad to lose another one of our Wednesday ladies.
GTKY: What's your favorite book? Anything Harry Potter, hands down. But I recently read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, and I'm looking forward to reading some of her other books.
Rants/Rave/Questions? I'm 19 weeks today and I still haven't really felt baby move. I've felt a few rolls here and there but no solid kicks. I thought with this being #2 that I would be feeling things already. I've also only gained 4 lbs. in the mornings, baby is using sitting right on top and my whole belly is hard, but for the last week J haven't felt that. It's making me nervous and I don't know if I can wait until the 10th to ensure that everything is okay. Other than not really feeling or looking pregnant, there is nothing wrong so I'm trying not to worry.
GTKY: What's your favorite book? I'm you on Harry Potter @cclaineDC! Also Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers.
How big is baby? I haven't looked at my Ovia app yet. Bump says papaya.
Appointments this week? Nothing this week. A/s is next week.
Symptoms? A whole lot of nothing. No bump and only occasional movement still. Oh, except the awful cramps. Yeah, those suck.
Rants/Rave/Questions? Last pregnancy I kept going into PTL starting at 32 weeks. I managed to stay pregnant until 37. But we never knew why it was happening, but it always seemed to happen during snow storms. I figured it was a coincidence, but we've had two storms this week and I've been cramping and in a lot of pain during them. No contractions, just a ton of pressure and a constant back cramp. I really hope this isn't a sign that it's going to happen again this pregnancy. When you live 2.5 hours from L&D any sort of PTL ordeal is a PITA for everyone involved. Next time I'm having a late fall baby!

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.
Appointments this week? Nope, had my a/a last week
Symptoms? Lots and lots of movement which is so different from last time (anterior vs posterior placenta). I was able to express colostrum this week too! It seems so soon
Rants/Rave/Questions? I really need to start doing stuff. The future nursery is a massive storage area that we can barely open the door to. I need to get my button gear.
GTKY: What's your favorite book? Harry Potter of course and Gone with the Wind. @achays11 I love redeeming love!
Symptoms? Headaches seem to be getting better. Caffeine helps. I hope this baby sleeps. I never drank caffeine with my other 2 and they were amazing sleepers. Occasional Braxton hicks. Especially on a very active day.
Rants/Rave/Questions? Very sad to have lost another Wednesday mama. Especially so far into our pregnancies. Breaks my heart.
GTKY: What's your favorite book? Really not sure. I like all the harry potters. I just reread to kill a mockingbird.
How big is baby? -I guess the size of a banana. I'm sort of over the fruit comparison thing this week.
Appointments this week? -Anatomy scan tomorrow!
Symptoms? -Belly pain and some back pain, but nothing too bad.
Rants/Rave/Questions? -I so desperately wanted to have a pregnancy pillow, but none of them seem to actually be great. I've returned two. Maybe I'm just not a pregnancy pillow girl.
GTKY: What's your favorite book? @MrsFreeman2010, I also love Harry Potter and Gone With the Wind!
I have completed my goal of reading 40 books this year. I'm going to be conservative and go for 20 next year with the new baby taking up my reading time.
