Progesterone and AF

I got a negative beta this morning (CD 36) and RE says to keep taking meds until AF starts. Anyone have any issues with AF showing up when taking progesterone?

    @carterh33 So Sorry to hear about your BFN, hugs to you girlie. I both BFNs for me they had me stop meds immediately and then AF started about 3 days later. Hoping you can move forward soon!

    Sorry for the BFN. AF shows up roughly 3 days after stopping progestrogen for me.

    I'm so sorry for the BFN.  Like PP's I was told to stop immediately and got AF exactly 3 days later. 
    TTC since:  1/2015
    11/16:  IVF #1.  BFN
    2/23/17:  FET with a BFP on 3/8/17.
    EDD: 11/11/17 with a baby GIRL!

    @carterh33 if you dont stop progesterone you wont have a cycle your cycle starts due to a drop in progesterone you might want to call your RE and double check what he is telling you to do

    I don't get AF until I stop progresterone, about 2-3 days later. I generally keep taking it for a couple days after a negative HPT just in case.
    Me: 33, PCOS with anovulation
    DH: 36, No known issues
    TTC since 11/2014
    1000mg Metformin daily

    Oct-Dec 2015: Letrozole 5mg, Ovidrel, TI = BFN x 2
    Feb-May 2016: Letrozole 5mg, Ovidrel, TI, Prometrium = BFN x 3
    August 2016: Clomid 100mg no response, Letrozole 5mg, Ovidrel, TI, Prometrium = BFN

    Thank you all! Part of me is holding onto hope and maybe I'll take a hpt Friday and if that is negative I'll stop Friday. However, part of me says just to stop taking them tonight since of the negative beta.

    I always get AF while on progesterone, but it seems to be more common that you don't get it until stopping progesterone. It's weird that they would want you to keep taking it after a negative beta so I would definitely follow up and confirm that they do still want you taking it.

    I used to stop progesterone after I got a BFN. I'd get my period 3 days later. Progesterone was so darn expensive that I would bank it for the next cycle.

    Just call me CC.  :)
