Seamstress for custom baptism gown?

I've become attached to the idea of using the fabric from my wedding dress to make DS's baptism gown/robes. Did anyone else in the area do this and have a seamstress recommendation?

Me: 29, PCOS (unofficial since August 2015, official as of 3/16/16), nominal U/S and "unremarkable" HSG
DH: 34, low count, low motility

    I haven't, but I use Fashion Dream (between Courthouse and Clarendon in Arlington) for alterations. She basically took apart and re-assembled half a bridesmaid dress for me and did a fantastic job.

    I have a ton of fabric I was hoping to do the same thing with, but I don't know anyone who does baby sized work.  I was thinking of just bringing it back to my wedding dress seamstress in Old Town Alexandria, or asking her if she knows anyone.  Elegance by Roya is the shoppe.
