R/R: *this is long and ugly, feel free to skip if you don't want to listen to me whine* Fucking awful evening last night. When I went home for lunch yesterday my dog had peed on the couch, gotten into the trash (which means that he ate a bunch of chicken bones and made a giant mess), and was showing signs of a UTI. I didn't tell my DH because stress makes him smoke. Then DH asks if he can stay at a friends place overnight - out of town, it was their Friday. Fine whatever. All I could think was "you better not fucking smoke while you're partying with your friends who are smokers." I get home after work and the dog had peed on the couch again, and somehow gotten upstairs and peed all over our mattress. We'd taken the sheets and waterproof mattress pad off to wash them, so he peed gallons right onto the mattress. I'd had chairs blocking the stairs to our bedroom - which is what I do every day to keep him out of our bedroom when we're gone. The chairs were undisturbed so I have no effing idea how he got up there. Not to mention he had the nerve to get into the pantry and eat a plastic wrapped bully stick when I was in the shower - so he'll probably puke that up somewhere. So, I spent forever trying to clean it all up, but had to sleep in a different bedroom because our mattress will take forever to dry, which means I got very little sleep. Not to mention the washing machine wasn't working properly, so I couldn't get all of the pee-soaked things washed. I took a urine sample into the vet this morning. He's had multiple recurring UTIs, so I have no idea what they'll say this time.
And, it's hard to explain, but my MIL insisted on buying the prime rib for the get together at our house on Christmas Eve. It's very nice of her since prime rib for 16 people is expensive, but instead of just giving us the cash, she insisted on ordering it from one of her friends (which I don't even understand), which necessitates us arranging to get the damn thing from her because she lives 2.5 hours away from us (and won't just come to our place early on Christmas Eve so that I can start the cooking process). Oh, and DH calls me this morning to let me know that the prime rib is pre-cooked. What the hell??????? Re-heating a precooked prime rib sounds like an excellent way to get shitty prime rib...... the method of reheating is just as complicated and long as actually cooking it myself. Yes, I realize this makes me sound like a brat, but I fully admit that I'm a food snob.
Today is DH's bday, but I'm in such a funk this morning. Like, just trying to not burst into tears at the slightest thing. I know all of the above isn't really a big deal and I'm just being a drama queen. But I appreciate having somewhere to vent about it.

R/R: for those who missed it, DH's SA is normal. Not off the charts but OB seemed unconcerned, so YAY! We were both a little surprised. DH tried to say that it's because he works outside and has a physical job in nature and that most 40yr olds aren't in as good of shape as him but I was kind of annoyed with him for his unhealthy habits so I told him to get over himself because the doc said it's mostly genetic lol I kind of wanted to throw his two day (sometimes longer) refractory period in his face because that's pretty long for his age, but I didn't. I just told him he's not allowed to gloat because it could mean there's something wrong with me
OB is sending me for bloodwork and I have to call to book an HSG on CD1. Thanks to @wabash15 and @BusinessWife I know that cd21 bloodwork is actually 7dpo bloodwork and that my 7dpo will actually be tomorrow on cd18! I should be able to get in on Friday, so hopefully that works out.
I just had to make an order of peanut brittle at 730am because BIL wants to meet early this morning and apparently my motor skills aren't quite working yet because I couldn't for the life of me be quiet and was spilling shit and everything! Oops!

@lund Wow, I don't think you sound like a brat at all. You are having a tough time and I think you are handling it very well. Your dog must have magical powers to jump over chairs w/o disturbing them. We are thinking of getting a dog and I need to get used to the idea of such potential mishaps.
It's sweet of your MIL to buy the prime rib, but I happen to agree with you that she should have just given you the cash if there were all these variables that must be met.

Yeah, I locked my dog in a bedroom today. The bed in there has a waterproof mattress cover on it, and the floors are tile. His UTI symptoms are excessive water drinking, which leads to lots of peeing. I had limited his water supply yesterday and locked him out of all bathrooms (he drinks out of the toilets), but I hadn't closed the master bathroom door because I assumed he couldn't get up there. He also tries to pee a lot when he has a UTI, just squats to pee with no urine output.
Yeah, the more people I talk to about, the more the pre-cooked prime rib sounds like a bucket of suck. But I have no idea how to purchase and cook a fresh one myself without her knowing and getting offended.
@antoto I was thinking of you and hoping for you this morning. So sorry about the BFN, and all this unfair TTC bullshit you're having to deal with. Although I'm only a creepy internet stranger, I am sending you my best, most positive thoughts.

@JulesDP Work dramz sucks. Regardless of whether it's a big deal or not, the reality of it is that we are stuck spending so much time with these people, our co-workers, that it becomes impossible not to take work stuff personal. Enjoy your extended weekend!
@purplg8r I am in the same mindspace as you re: temping/charting next cycle. I know I'll feel better and more relaxed if I don't, but on the other hand I'll be questioning my timing and dates even more than I do already. Can't win.
@LuND I don't think you sound like a drama queen at all! I think it sounds like you're dealing with a lot. The MIL stuff would be driving me crazy, personally. Sounds like her "contribution" of the prime rib is just making your life harder!

R/R: Had an EXCRUTIATING migraine that had me down for the count by 7pm last night, just a cruel reminder of impending AF.
Q/CS: Well, I guess I have a long LP, so at least I've got that going for me. Last month I had 17 high temps before AF showed up, the BSC brought on by that sure was fun (eyeroll). I O really early, borderline too early for good egg quality, and then the LP phase takes it's sweet time. Ok then.
GTKY: Type in your favorite action or feeling into giphy.com and post the first gif! I'm on the app, so no gif. Tried to post on the PC for 15 mins or so, no dice. Why is this forum so wonky?! I'm always having issues with it. You'd think such a popular site would have better forum hosting, cmon now...when I was on the bump 9 years ago it was far better than this. (I think I'm grumpy today)
Testing: Tomorrow? If I don't get AF by the end of this week I will test again until AF comes (which will mostly be in January)
R/R: I just want to say I hope that y'all don't think I post and ghost. Honestly posting every day would be bad fore my mental health right now. I think my contribution of 1-2x/week is what I can handle right now. Also, I will most likely be lurking or in the Benched discussion if I am not KU after this cycle! Also I have been working 9hr+ (Sometimes 11hr) days everyday and only getting paid for 8 for about 4 weeks now.
Eata the bump eats my post every time which makes me want to post even less! Sorry There not a GTKY portion of my post

@rainbowturtles congrats on the good SA results, but boo to the gloating DH! Hopefully your own test results will also be gloat-worthy :-)
Month/Cycle: 3/3
I'm on the app, so no gif. Tried to post on the PC for 15 mins or so, no dice. Why is this forum so wonky?! I'm always having issues with it. You'd think such a popular site would have better forum hosting, cmon now...when I was on the bump 9 years ago it was far better than this.
(I think I'm grumpy today)

Eata the bump eats my post every time which makes me want to post even less! Sorry There not a GTKY portion of my post
@thebookisbetter ugh sorry for the migraine and impending AF
@rainbowturtles I would've punched DH for being so cocky about his SA.

@juliebeannn keeping my FX for you!
@oh no! I'm sorry you've had a rough night & day! That had to be so frustrating to have to take care of it all by yourself!
@thebookisbetter exactly! I feel like no matter what I'm going to stress myself out! I just learned how to do gifs on the app. What type of phone do you have?
eta: TB ate most of my post again but I'm getting smart at copying it before submitting
ETA: ahhh! TB ate my entired post...ugh will respond later. Must do work.
@hartmich: Sorry for the BFN, but you aren't out yet! FX maybe the dip is a good sign!
@thebookisbetter Sorry for the migraine, those are the worst!
@BertieMeetsGertie: Hmm, mobile giffing (is that a word?!?) is more difficult for me. I have a pretty basic smart phone (think like $30 go phone) and it doesn't so well with the gifs...

Rave: I don't work today, so I got to sleep in! Also, only woke up 4 times last night and I was able to fall asleep again quickly! #sleepinggoals
Rant: Nothing yet today. But then again, it's 10:30am and I have only been up for about 30 minutes. So no guarantees it will stay that way....
@ColoradoHiker Here's hoping kiddo gets better soon. Ours is sick with something that sounds similar. Last night was a sucky night that sucked.
@hartmich @RedBreast35 @purplg8r @thebookisbetter Holidays + BFNs =

@RedBreast35 ugh treat yourself to all the drinks and food!!
@purplg8r this was the first cycle I didn't temp since me and DH started TTC and it was glorious. I love temping and chart stalking but it was effecting my sleep and increasing my anxiety around TTC. I only used OPKs this month and still got a CH just no coverline because I wasn't temping and the CHs were dotted because there isn't enough info for it to be definitive I'll attach my chart so you can see
ETA- woo winning at the spoiler box! Not adding a gif for GTKY cause I don't want to mess it up!

To outsiders, the community we have here probably just seems like words on a screen, but your hugs and love really do mean so much. So thank you all for being awesome
