Appointment updates? 15 week appointment on 01/04

Any new symptoms or changes?  Pulsating headaches that are only relieved by caffeine, which I usually do not drink ever. Nausea still comes up and had an episode of vomiting after trying to quit my Unisom/B6 cold turkey. My sciatica has flared up again, too. Still tired and sore boobs and nipples, exacerbated by my 18 month old DS who is still BFing. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I still haven't told my boss that I'm preggs even though I am in line at the post office right now to send Christmas cards with our birth announcement in them

My family is from Mississippi and they make a huge pot of seafood gumbo and one of chicken gumbo. I hate both, so I end up bringing appetizers like chicken wings, deviled eggs and chips and salsa which are my year-round "bad food" cravings

Any new symptoms or changes?  I was so excited to be getting over the nausea, but turns out everything is just upsetting my stomach, I've been very blahhh.

GTKY: What foods are making you happy these days? Please include holiday favorites! just sweets, give me allll the sweets! Getting ready to do our annual Christmas cookies, we are pretty basic and just do cutout sugar cookies and decorate them really pretty!

Appointment updates? Had one Monday. Everything is going well so far. Now I anxiously await my anatomy scan in mid Jan. 

Any new symptoms or changes? No but this exhaustion is for the birds. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I've had a sore throat for a week now. GO AWAY. And my toddler is sleeping like garbage. No idea what is happening. But I hope it ends soon!

GTKY: I haven't really been craving anything. I'm over all the super indulgent stuff. Fruit o to be making the happiest. Juicy fruits that quench my thirst. Now I want mango. 

@MrsCaliRN That's awesome you're able to nurse through that nipple soreness. I can't imagine with how mine have been feeling.

******TW PPD/PPA and Violent News Story*********
I have very bad PPD and PPA after DD. It made me fixate on things. There was a horrible news story out of my hometown yesterday and I could NOT do anything all day besides track the story. A high school friend went missing over the weekend and the story had the WORST possible outcome. I was a mess. It was something right off of the ID channel. This will definitely be a topic of discussion at my next MW appt. If it's starting early, I need to get ahead of it this time. I will not go back down that path without early, intense help this time!!

I am crazy for all things spicy! Cinnamon spicy, ginger spicy, chile spicy, hot sauce spicy, doesn't matter. I'll take all of it! Fingers crossed that this doesn't end up giving me bad heartburn like last time!! haha

@silliegirlie143 I'm so sorry the story had a horrible outcome. You're being very smart about getting ahead of your PPD/PPA. Hope you can manage it well and stay way ahead of it getting the best of you.

@silliegirlie143 so sorry to hear this is going on. So glad you're going to talk it over with your midwife. Also, ditto to everything @motherofdragons just posted.
