How far along are you? 23 weeks 

How big is baby?  A really large grapefruit? A small eggplant? A papaya? Regardless, she's over a pound!

Appointments this week? Not for another week 

Symptoms?  Kicking, bloat, fatigue, mood swings,  thirsty, RLP popping up a lot this week actually. 

What have you done to prepare for baby this week?   Scheduled my childbirth class. Put some nursery decor in my Etsy cart. Probably gonna wait until after Christmas to buy it though. Otherwise nothing. 

Rants/Raves/Questions:  She's been insanely active for the last four or so days. I love it. I can see her moving in my belly now. 

GTKY: If you could relive one day in the past, what would it be?  Either my one day in Paris, the day DH proposed, or maybe my wedding. Just so I could take more time to appreciate it.

25 weeks. 

A head of cauliflower, approximately 13.8 inches long.  Or, as DH said, "enough with the fruit & vegetable comparisons already - our baby is approximately the size of a small baby!"

Team blue. 

No appointments. 

Symptoms: Trouble sleeping.  Leg & butt cramps. Itchy belly. Tons of movement.

Preparation:  Assembled the co-sleeper. Finished art project for nursery wall.  Organized baby clothing with size dividers in nursery closet. 

Rave:  Up until a month ago I was still using my fetal Doppler daily for reassurance.  The influx of movement now has made me cut back to once every week or two. 

GTKY: I wish I could have one more good day with my mom.  She's been gone for over half my life and there's just so much I want to say and do.  Being the oldest person in your family at such a young age hardens you by necessity, but I still have my vulnerable moments when I "just want my mommy."

Symptoms? Heartburn that feels a whole lot like nausea 

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? 

Completed my Amazon Registry to qualify for the welcome box of free stuff!

still working on the nursery (aka junk room) SO.MUCH.JUNK!

How far along are you? 23 weeks

How big is baby? Grapefruit

Appointments this week? We had one on Monday - quick ultrasound to get a heart picture missed on the 20w one - baby girl looked great and the OB check up went well too.  Love getting to see the nugget. 

Symptoms? None really - just tired but that's probably due to the 2.5 year old pushing my limits.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We took the plunge and moved DS into his new room/big boy bed.  2 nights in and he's done great!  We're hoping it'll continue and we can repaint the nursery next week and get started on decorating. 

Rants/Raves/Questions: So excited we finally decided on a name - Hailey Grace.  I'm now an ordering machine - haha! Too many things I'd love to have monogrammed!

GTKY: If you could relive one day in the past, what would it be? I'd love to go back to when my grandpa and great-grandma were still alive.  I had a best friend like relationship with my grandpa so I'd love to get to chat with him now at an older age - he had the best stories.  My great-grandma lived until she was 105 so I'd love to get to pick her brain about her life and just to hear about growing up in a era where they didn't have a car until she was like 15 or so.  Just so cool to hear about it first hand.

Appointments this week? 

None this week.  I had one Thursday, just a standard check up.  Glucose test in like 3 weeks

Symptoms?

Gas!  Oh my goodness, I let one rip in front of my students the other day, I didn't even know it was coming!

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? 

We finally started our registry, by spending 3 hours at babies r us

Rants/Raves/Questions: 

Rave:  I was so excited about starting to feel the flutters
Rant:  I haven't felt him the last couple of days, I know he is probably fine but I don't like not feeling him now

GTKY: If you could relive one day in the past, what would it be? (Stolen from Sunday)
My wedding! It was such a great day, but I have no video of it, and I would love to see it all again

 Appointments this week? Routine appointment on Christmas Eve

 Symptoms? Feeling sluggish, but that's about it.

 What have you done to prepare for baby this week? DH put together the dresser, storage cube and the crib for the baby's room

Rants/Raves/Questions: Rave: I splurged and bought a pregnancy pillow, I'm so in looooove! I've been sleeping so well lately which was much needed.

 GTKY: If you could relive one day in the past, what would it be? (Stolen from Sunday): definitely our wedding day! It was a blast and truly went by too fast haha. It was the only time we'll ever have both our friends and all family members together in 1 room celebrating and having a good time.

5. A lot more movement and hiccups twice in the last week (bsby, not me), which I love. Overall soreness and exhaustion. 

6. Not a thing. Our nanny bought her a Christmas gift though!

7. Rant- my mom is in town and talked a lot about how much she intended to help before the trip. Yeah, not so much helping going on. She was gone all day today and waltzed in at 10:16pm as I was washing my face for bed. Not helpful; this has been the norm so far. I was hoping to get a little bit of a break while she was here, but I'm losing hope for that.

8. I have no idea! My birthing days were really awesome and I'm looking forward to birthing again, but im
mot sure about reliving it bc it's hard work. Lol. Maybe a certain day from an awesome trip pre kids?

Prepare? Umm we talked about getting bunk beds for our older two and how to configure car seats in our van 

R/R/Q: Not much. I just can't believe it's like 3 mths away! 

Relive one day? I honestly don't think any. Maybe a quiet vacation day on the beach. ;-)
