  • I've seen that some of you are getting leg cramps at night. I got a monster cramp two nights ago, and my muscle is still sore. Anyone else have lingering pain? I did wear my support belt to bed because of RL pain and wondered if I cut off circulation to that leg.

  • @Happyhiker I have had a couple times where the leg cramps were so intense my leg was still sore the next day. It was uncomfortable, but it did go away. Getting more potassium during the day seems to help me with preventing the leg cramps-I eat bananas and drink some watered down gatorade. One thing that helps if I still get a leg cramp is to flex my toes up toward my knee of the offending leg...seems to help more than trying to massage it out. I don't wear any kind of support belt or anything like that, I think the lingering soreness is probably just because of how intense the cramps can be. Hope that helps!

  • Sorry if this is TMI but I have a hemroid and am freaking out. Do they go away after birth?

Also have restless legs keeping me away. I have to keep moving my feet around or my legs get this weird twitchy feeling.

As for hemmhroids....sorry to tell you but no. I mean, they go through phases. They get better, but if you have a bad poop or something they pop right out again. They are like varicose veins in that they are kind of....there. There is surgery you can do to get rid of them if they are bad but it's no joke.

Things Ive found that help are:
    - really try not to irritate it...if it's sensitive, don't wipe, just pat, or use flushable wet wipes
    - sitz baths! Or at least a soak in warm water in the tub of 10 minutes
    - hemhroid cream when its painful

Don't strain when you poop and don't "sit" for a long time waiting while pooping. Just go when you feel the urge and go again later if you need to.

As for the legs try eating more potassium/magnesium and drinking more water if you think you can.
