How far along are you? 12 weeks! so exciting!!

How big is baby? a plum, or a chicken nugget. Which reminds me, i'm hungry lol

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes! NT scan on Monday and then doctor's appointment on Wednesday. I'm so excited to see the baby again (and nervous, it's been four weeks, what if something happened in between and I didn't know?)

Any new symptoms or changes? The nausea is subsiding, thank God! Acid reflux is still around and killing me. And now i'm hungry ALL. THE. TIME.

Rants/Raves/Questions? When do you consider the first trimester over? From what I've found some say 13 weeks, some say 14 weeks. I like 13 weeks better because it's closer 

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? we hardly watch movies from beginning to end anymore unless we're at the movies but we saw Meet the Fockers yesterday on TV. It was funny.  not necessarily my favorite though

How big is baby? a ripe apricot.  @manillabar I don't think I've ever seen a chicken nugget that is as large as a plum!  Apricots seem to be in the middle though.

nope.  I'm just generally tired.

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 last night.  I thought it was ok.  Maybe not the best film to watch if you're irritated with your in laws.

How big is baby? 

According to TB, plum sized?  But also 1/2 an ounce. So not really sure where the size comparison comes from.

Upcoming appointments this week?

The Big NT scan and NIPT is coming up this Wednesday. 

Any new symptoms or changes?

More nausea, but I can't tell if it's pregnancy related or I'm coming down with the virus my boys have.  Blergh.

My H is being super awesome.  I have the next 2.5 weeks off and I get to spend them with DS1 since he's on term break.

I went to see Rogue One yesterday and I loved it.

@manillabar I can't believe people are starting to get their NT scans done already! Also, I'm the same way about seeing the baby - we just saw it last week but now I'm like - omg four more weeks?? Something could easily happen  but!! Good luck. It'll be so fun to see baby and get a closer look.

Nope. But I'm scheduling all my appts this week - from our nipt draw to this baby's birthday! 
Any new symptoms or changes?
No changes. Oh wait yes changes - my face has been relatively clear this whole time but this week I started getting random ass zits - on my forehead, by my ear, on my neck, and I think some bacne!!! 
Rants/Raves/Questions?
My migraines really peaked weeks 10 and 11 for me with DD, & sure enough, the hormonal headaches are becoming constant though still very manageable. While I'm glad weeks 10 and 11 fall during holiday break and first week back, I'm hoping I'll be able to, you know, do stuff - like go see every movie.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it?
Watched My Neighbor Totoro with DD last night (I've been watching this since I was 7 or something!!) but last movie in a theater was moana - LOVED it!! I love how persistent and focused moana is and how she is able to read and understand other people and change her approach to get consensus and move forward - like, Maui for example but also the lava monster - only she saw the real figure beneath the anger and the fiery exterior. Clearly I've put a lot of thought into this. 

Im looking forward to watching rogue one, la la land, arrival, and I'm missing a few... next week when DD is at camp and I have the week off

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? With a 3.5 and 2 year old, the only movies we get to watch are animated. So Dr Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and yes it was good!

Upcoming appointments this week? OB appointment Thursday, NT scan on Friday. Excited to see the little one again!!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is definitely more manageable in general. It's actually worse at night now which is weird. Also my stomach is so sensitive - gave myself an upset stomach from takeout on two separate occasions. Lesson learned!

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? Me Before You. QUITE the tearjerker at the end, even though Emilia Clarke overacted the entire time.

12 weeks, woot woot!!!

NT scan this week!

Nausea is subsided, leaving exhaustion in its wake. Nighttime foot cramps and lots of sex dreams, woof. Feeling pretty good, although I have a major sweet tooth and am trying to cut my sugar intake. Last pregnancy, I didn't want anything sweet, including chocolate. I miss that!

Not sure about a recent movie...but I'm flying overnight, alone with my toddler tonight, and hoping for a good selection of in-flight movies.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope! Had my first post-RE OB appt on Friday which went well. Another 4 weeks until the next one!

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really. Have noticed a bit of light nausea at nights but very manageable so far.

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? sausage party - an animated film from the perspective of groceries (yes, groceries) that actually has an unexpectedly deep message. I liked it more than I thought I would!

We flew across the country on Friday for the holidays and DD was decent on both flights.  Shout out to DH who did the majority of the baby-wearing.

We saw Inferno a few weeks ago- they completely changed the ending from the book, I couldn't believe it.  Don't mess with a good book ending!  DH is dragging me to Rogue one this week and I've heard it's amazing!

Nope, not until Jan 4th. Unfortunately, I currently have 26 appointments scheduled and that doesn't include the ones not yet scheduled with the MFM (which may or may not add LOTS of appts). This is my new part time job, yo.


Any new symptoms or changes?
Less nausea, more tired. Plus, I'm up for a good 1-2 hours every night when I get up to pee.

Anyone know when is it advised to stop sleeping on your stomach?

Lots of random movies on TV, latest was Invicible with Mark Wahlberg. I've seen it before and like it, hence why I watched it again. Last "new" movie was Hell or High Water, which was surprisingly pretty great!

@TalesOfASocialIntrovert dunno about the stomach sleeping, but my personal belief is you're good on it until it's uncomfortable, then stop. (In case an internet stranger's intuition is an acceptable answer for you, lol) But maybe you can ask at one of your many appointments - jeez! That's intense, lady, I feel for you.
