Since my most recent Google search history asks if a twitching nose is an early pregnancy symptom (Seriously, self? A twitching nose?) I thought this could be a funny thread.
For those of us BSC symptom spotters what is the most ridiculous thing you have googled to see if it possibly could be a sign you are KTFU?
I asked if hair loss was a symptom of early pregnncy. Turns out its a symptom when you keep your long hair in a bunch and don't wash it for 3 days. Go figure.

There's an implantation bleeding quiz out there somewhere... I was doing so great! till I told it I was like 10 dpo and it was all, <div class=" Spoiler"><img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/ol/5lznan44ch8a.gif" alt="" title="Image: https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/ol/5lznan44ch8a.gif"> <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/pw/myorb9idzae9.gif" alt=""></div><p> </p>
I googled implantation bleeding my first cycle of NTNP. Turns out I was just spotting randomly at 7dpo but I was convinced it was implantation bleeding
@BusinessWife Just last cycle I took one of those implantation bleeding quizzes. The whole time I legitimately thought "Nailing it. Totes preggers." Because, you know, it's totally logical that spotting for several days in a row starting on CD19 would absolutely only be implantation bleeding and definitely not AF.
ETA - it was CD 29 (not 19) which makes my idiocy even more obvious

@jess0211 what's interesting is that all my search for twitching nose came up with was a bunch of pregnant ladies saying their eyelids were twitching. That of course gave me false hope because, you know, noses are close to eyelids so I must be KU.
Also I get twinging and pulling in my abdomen every. single. TWW. Clearly it's just a part of PMS. But every damn time I get it I get all excited and think it must be a sign. The first few cycles I googled pinching and pulling each time it came around. Then I realized I wasn't finding any new info. I haven't googled for that specifically these past few cycles but I sure do still get excited every time I have a twinge. I can't help it. Oh same with sore nipples and boobs. I know it's part of PMS. I know it's going to happen every time. But for some reason the BSC irrational person in me overpowers and every time my boob aches I'm convinced I'm KU.
Oh I can't tell you how BSC I went last cycle. I put a lot of things in FF and it said I was in the range for very likely being pregnant. But I kept getting negative tests so I was pissed at FF. Turns out I was pregnant but it was a CP/MC.
But I googled the following symptoms, not sure how many were actually related in the end:
Sinus Infection
Insomnia
Ringing in ear
Funny taste when eating candied fruits
Dry, cracking hands
Red skin on nose/rash on cheek
Dogs acting weird around me and following me around (more than usual)
I even googled the likeliness of implantation occurring past 12 DPO.
So I'm in the WTO group and am currently Googling things that might be good for fertility - but I hope it's okay that I join in!
I'm Canadian, and one of the east coast things that I love (I have family from there) is dulse, a type of seaweed. Of course, I wanted to convince DH why I should be paying a premium for some random seaweed because of the nostalgia value - so Dr. Google helped me out by telling me it was good for my fertility! I love being right, but internally I might have hit a low point haha
It's not a symptom, but after licking dozens of envelopes for Christmas cards, and it being the TWW, I just freaked out about possibly ingesting toxic envelope glue while pregnant.
@Sailing_Mama I have to say I'm Canadian as well and this summer I tried dulse for the first time and it was disgusting ! I don't know how you eat it !

@FLAshley Fair - I feel like it's something that you have strong feelings about one way or another, no one thinks it's just okay! I grew up with it though, which I think is the only reason I like it... and now I have an excuse, since Dr. Google said it was really good for me
Just this morning I googled if night sweats could be a sign of implantation. Followed by early implantation at 5 dpo. It wouldn't be so bad but google likes to feed into the BSC .
I googled to see if wanting to BD was a symptom. I figured out it's actually my own symptom of PMS.
I also googled if having low temps was a symptom, despite reading that usually temps go up during pregnancy.
What really gets me is that I spent a lot of time and research googling doctors and midwives and hospitals etc when we first started to try. I guess it can still be useful later but I feel rather idiotic for jumping the gun.

I had an MRI on cd6 after a very heavy period and googled at least 5 times whether the MRI could tell me I was pregnant. You know because 6 day heavy AF = possibly pregnant.
