It won't let me reply. I've tried three times, but now it won't let me delete so please ignore this!

    Rants/Raves/Questions? none this week!

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live? I honestly think we would live somewhere in the country and just enjoy our family and land!

How big is baby? A Raspberry

Upcoming appointments this week? I have one tomorrow with my OB to discuss my mental health and get a dating ultrasound!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope, I'm super tired but that could be from my cold or from the fact that we are moving so who knows.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Last night we took our kids on the Polar Express and DH kept talking about how next we are going to need to do this and this. It was really sweet to me that he's been putting some thought into this especially since we haven't really had time to talk about this new baby.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live? Ether North Dakota or Alaska. We've lived in North Dakota but ended up moving closer to home because I was a FTM.

How big is baby? A raspberry

Upcoming appointments this week? First appointment and an ultrasound today!

Any new symptoms or changes? Just the usual nausea and exhaustion.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? None this week

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live? Hawaii. DH and I went this year and it's amazing there!
  • How far along are you? 8 weeks

    How big is baby? Raspberry

Upcoming appointments this week?  First appointment coming up on Monday!

Any new symptoms or changes? I haven't really experienced anything yet, and if I have it's been mild.  However, sorry if this is TMI, but the constipation is not fun.  DH says it's just my body being super efficient with food/getting nutrients to the baby and I'm like "Yeah, that's not working for me."

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live?  Colorado.  My husband and I are super active and I think we would love it there.  Plus, we live in TX and it would be nice to get away from the never ending Texas heat.

  • @rachrach83 Omg, TMI or not, the constipation is no joke! I haven't had it this bad since I was on some pain meds after knee surgery in February. Efficiency or not, this sucks!

How far along are you? 8 weeks!

How big is baby? A raspberry or a peanut M+M

Upcoming appointments this week? I have my first appt on Monday! It was supposed to just be a check-in with the nurse, but I called about an elective ultrasound (we want to announce at Christmas so I wanted confirmation, plus twins run in my family). They were able to schedule it, and were surprised it wasn't already scheduled as part of my initial appointment. Hopefully that means it'll be covered by insurance, since they're submitting it with every thing else. I can't wait to see this little peanut!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope. Still don't really feel like I'm pregnant, which is so weird. Boobs are still a bit sore and as I mentioned above, constipation is no fun.

Rants/Raves/Questions? It's almost Friday! Though I'm a bit bummed, because weather might mess up our work Christmas party (we'd be traveling to a different studio in the state). But I'm definitely looking forward to catching up on Christmas shenanigans this weekend!

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live?
Hmmmmm, definitely somewhere with mountains. Maybe Colorado or Wyoming, if cost of living was also something we didn't have to consider!

  • @rachrach83 @RunRestRepeat my house is literally 20 minutes from Colorado and I LOVE it. Camping in the summer is the best and just this last summer we took the kids on quite a few day hikes and they loved it so much. I actually went camping 12 days after I had DD and it was definitely worth it.

  • @cssme13 Ahhhhh, I'm so jealous!!! I took DH to Colorado for his first time this year - we rode Tour of the Moon through the Colorado National Monument. I didn't think I'd get him to leave!

I'm also happy to hear about someone camping that soon after baby - I'm still trying to figure out how I can get some camping in next summer!

How big is baby? Technically a line but I have never seen a lime less than two inches...

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, I am tempted to get a Doppler to keep me sane until my appts

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea has abated, this is fantastic, my appetite is not the biggest by any stretch but I will still take it!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Every part of me is bloated, I feel like Violet in Willy Wonka. Also my toddlers are restless and whiny since we are home bound because of the cold weather, I am about to rig a jumpy chair thing you hang from the ceiling on to a treadmill to get out that restless energy but I am scared of child services being called

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live? I would love a big ranch with a walkout basement on like 50 acres out west (Wyoming, Montana, etc.)
  • How far along are you?  10 weeks

How big is baby?  A strawberry or a Lego man

Upcoming appointments this week?  Still nothing until Jan 5th..

Any new symptoms or changes?  Exhaustion and a heightened sex drive!

  • How far along are you? 9 weeks

How big is baby? A cherry

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my first set of appointments on Monday, got to see the little peanut.  Very relieved to see that everything was ok.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new, still feeling nauseated constantly and exhausted.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing this week.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live?  Probably somewhere in the mid-west miles away from everything else like everyone else is thinking.  Or Hawaii.

  • Due date got firmly set this week, so I go here now!

@rachrach83 Have you tried prune juice? I do a glass EOD and it helps, a little.

    @RunRestRepeat So glad you're getting a pre-Christmas U/S!!!

How far along are you? 10 weeks!

How big is baby? A cute little strawberry!

Upcoming appointments this week? We have a call with a genetic counselor at noon to go over my carrier screening results (which my OB warned me they have you do even if everything is fine), but otherwise, nothing until 1/5!

Any new symptoms or changes? Knock on ALL the wood, but after a miserable Week 9, I've been feeling a little better yesterday and today. If I weren't pregnant, would I say I felt well? No. But I do not currently actively feel like I'm going to vomit, so I'm counting that as a win.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I switched to maternity pants and have never been so comfortable.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world without having to worry about family, friends, job etc where would you live? I'd go back to New York. I lived there for eight years and LOVED it, but my industry is all in Los Angeles, so I moved here, but it's not really enough of a city for me.

@RunRestRepeat I had a c-section too so I was literally 12 days post op, totally doeable! We even slept on the ground but made sure to go to the car to nurse which was nice and warm.
