(I'm going to be posting and ghosting today as I have a work lunch and then a flight - happy Wednesday ladies!)

How far along are you? 24 weeks! (Viability - crazy!!)

How big is baby? A package of Oreos (although I have some questions about that - are we talking the big package? Or the one with one single roll? I'm confused), or a cantaloupe

Appointments this week? Next Monday, 12/19.  Regular checkup

Symptoms? Back pain and round ligament pain/pulling sensations are back the last few days. Nugget is moving around like crazy. Energy level is still pretty good though thankfully! 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm off the rest of this week, then 3.5 days next week, then an 11-day Christmas break!

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like? I have a tacky Christmas sweatshirt that I bought at Kohl's a few years ago - it has a penguin in crossstitch screenprinted onto it.  It's cute but not very tacky, and it's not maternity so right now it's waaay too short and I look like a blimp in it.    Unfortunately my mom threw all of her good "tacky" sweaters out a few years before the trend came back!

How far along are you? 23 weeks!

How big is baby? Box of mac and cheese, or a grapefruit (dang, now I want a grapefruit!)

Appointments this week? None this week...glucose screening next week though.

Symptoms? I have had the migraine from hell for the last couple of days. Sciatic pain flared up yesterday but has been pretty mild today. My back in general just hurts...I need this bump to pop out so baby girl will get off of my spine!!

Rant/Rave/Questions? Nothing of note this week. I'm super grumpy, so I could rant about anything and everything.

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like? Being a nerdy science teacher, it may have something to do with sharks and christmas lights...

How far along are you? 24 weeks, yay viability!

How big is baby? Cantaloupe

Appointments this week? Routine check on Friday morning

Symptoms? Lower back pain and just flat out exhausted. I think the exhaustion mainly is because of the craziness of the holidays and plus super busy at work but man it's hard to get motivated to get anything done at home that I need to after work because I am SO tired!

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant I guess kind of goes along with my above of being really tired, but I really really want to get stuff cleaned out of the soon to be nursery and get it ready for painting but I am SO unmotivated and tired. It is our "spare" room right now and DHs sister and kiddos are coming for a few days at the end of the month so DH wants to get it painted before she comes but I have to help with the cleaning out part and I just don't wanna...

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like? Nope, well not one I keep and wear every year. We do a tacky sweater party every year but go buy a "new" one at the thrift shop for it each year and rotate them out.

How big is baby? cantalope... box of oreos... so confusing... I don't feel those are comparable. 

Appointments this week? Just finished my gluclose test and check in. All is going well, little heartbeat is so reassuring to hear. 

Symptoms? The heartburn that won't stop. Some trouble sleeping because it's so dry here with the heat on. But kinda nice to be not freezing cold all the time. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Sometimes something will go slightly not my way and I'll just want to cry. It's such a weird feeling. 

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like? Don't have a tacky sweater to wear ironically these days... but my family used to knit sweaters when we were kids... I had some crazy ones then.

No OB appointments, but just got back from the chiropractor. Yesssss.

Symptoms?

Feeling pretty good other than being tired at the end of the day. Back pain is gone, headaches are pretty much gone, too. Enjoying feeling baby move around a ton. Still having weird dreams from time to time. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? 

I'm excited to get my welcome box from amazon! I wish I would have done an amazon registry the first time around, but that's okay. I wanted to take advantage of the welcome box and completion discount, so I moved my baby #2 list to a registry and voila! 

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like?
OH YES. I have had a few different looks over the years. I have a couple of turtlenecks, one with little holly leaves and the other with snowflakes, a sweater vest with scottie dogs, and this year is a legit ugly sweater. It's red with a lamb on it that says "Fleece Navidad."  We have a business luncheon the same day as ugly sweater day at work, so I'm trying to decide if I should bring an extra shirt or go ahead and embarrass my boss...

Symptoms? I'm just really tired and lacking motivation. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I just really badly want to get excited about this baby. I think starting the nursery would really help and I need to get DH to help me start clearing out the space this weekend. 

GTKY: Do you own a "tacky Christmas sweater" and, if so, what does it look like? I do. I stole it from my mother. It's a v-neck button up with appliqué that kind of form a "patchwork" motif. It's a little bulky but cute with leggings. There are bells on it.
