I need some advice on where to find organic crib sheets. I'd like to stick with bamboo or some other esy to care for/renewable textile. I'm not buying a bedding set, so I just need maybe four to six solid color sheets in green, white, maybe blue.
Also, what's with the crib skirt? is this neccessary? Or just a decorating thing that I can skip? I can't figure out if this has a purpose other than looking nice. (This isn't meant as a bash on people who have bought them, I'm really just curious.)
Re: Organic crib sheets
I registered for the organic crib sheets at BRU. ?They have a pretty nice selection and the price is comparable to non-organic.?
Also, the crib skirt is really just for looking nice. ?We weren't going to get it, but without it you could see the white metal of the mattress platform through the nice wood of the crib, so we decided to go with it. ?We just got one since we figure it'll be like the dust ruffle on our bed... just for show.?
Buy Buy Baby's website has a section just for organic. It's in the Bedding tab on the lefthand menu.
The crib skirt is also useful to hide storage boxes under the crib.
