Oh ladies....
Posting this comes with so many emotions.
After the 5th time I vomited today, I took a test and there was NO question at all, two bright pink lines within seconds.
I'm in shock because we've been on this journey for longer than I could have ever imagined, and because nearly every year of my life something super intense and usually terrible happens in the month of December...so to have this gift instead...I'm truly blown away. Speechless.
There are of course fears of loss, so every day is going to be one foot in front of the other until we can breathe a true sigh of relief.
I feel like crap so I don't know how much posting I'll do, but I really am cheering you all on.
I'm not ready to move boards yet if that's okay that I stick around a little longer?
Thank you to all that really cheered me on over the years and months and even just weeks for anyone I've just met

I'm still wishing BFP's on all of you. Xoxo
Re: **WARNING Bfp mentioned**
If the puking continues ask your OB for zofran. It was a life saver for me. I took it my entire pregnancy. I was so sick with my daughter. Sucking on peppermints and chewing on ginger gum will really help with the nausea as well. You can get ginger gum at CVS in the medicine aisle. Also smelling pure essential lavender oil will help as well.
ETA - were you doing anything different this cycle? Just curious.

@Momifbysea you made me smile
@PoeMasque you are the reason I didn't get too down on 9dpo, and the reason I finally tested on 17dpo. So thank you for your encouragement.
@amberruka thank you!
@vlagrl29 you asked if there was anything different we did specifically and I honestly think that my man's health improved with his getting more regular IVIG treatments for his brain disease. He also switched 3 mo ago to have his testosterone regulated by a reproductive urologist rather than his endocrinologist. He got off of some other medications that I think may have been affecting his testosterone levels. Because his levels were better we can only guess his sperm count and motility increased, which is why for the first time in a year we were able to bd 3 times in the fertile window rather than only once or twice.
I think I mentioned in one of my responses to a post that at one point in the middle of bd'ing I literally broke down sobbing. I knew this was our last try in my heart before IVF, and I also knew that affording IVF at this time was going to be nearly impossible for us. I was surrendering I suppose. This past weekend I started looking into foster to adoption in the United States and became convinced this was our path. And it may still be. Whether I am able to complete this pregnancy or not. I think I got to a place in my heart that just knew the joy of sharing a child with my man, after all he's suffered, after the things we've endured in 5 short years was a dream that I wasn't willing to give up on, but that I was willing to give up on how I wanted it to be.
I couldn't have forced myself here, it took the breaking of our hearts for 29mo.
I don't think I could thank this board enough. Ever.

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
