How far along are you?  22 weeks

How big is baby?  Coconut or a half dozen bagels. She was 13oz though two weeks ago so heaven knows. 

Appointments this week? None until after Christmas. 

 

Symptoms? Pain. RLP and pelvic pain. Also some serious bloat and gas. Thanks pregnancy digestion. Also, experienced an ocular migraine this weekend. Hope those aren't common. Otherwise enjoying feeling kicks and rolls more than even a week ago. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel like I finally have some energy back but I'm still enormously unmotivated about Christmas shopping and Christmas cards. Partly I just don't want to leave my warm house and go out in the cold. Bleh. 

GTKY: How far along are you on the nursery? Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep?  Well we said we'd get started after the halfway point but two weeks later still no progress. Haha. New plan is to get through Christmas and then get going. I also don't mind waiting until after Christmas so I can get a feel for whether DH's very wealthy grandmother wants to buy our crib or something. This is her first great grandbaby after all. Haha. My parents showed me the rocker they're gonna buy me and I love it. Though I'm also still thinking I'd like a bassinet or co sleeper at first, in our room.

Symptoms? None really - just a little tired.  Although that could be due to DS deciding to boycott naps this weekend - say what?!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I found the cutest little leather bows on one of those daily deal websites. Never thought I'd be into bows for a little girl but y'all I'm in love! I think DH is now worried I'm going to go crazy buying bows/headbands - only time will tell!  Anyone know of cute headbands for infants? I feel like all the ones I've seen are huge.

GTKY: How far along are you on the nursery? Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? We have DS' new room ready to go just need to pull the plug and transfer hiim to sleep over in his big boy bed (I'm dreading this).  So the plan is to start painting/decorating the nursery in January - we are reusing DS' furniture so that should make it pretty easy.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm glad to be back to prenatal yoga after a few weeks off in Nov.

GTKY: How far along are you on the nursery? Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? We use the same nursery for all our babies, so it's done.  We do need to move DD2 out of there and in with DD1, but this won't be problematic and they are both excited about it. We just need to figure out when to actually do that. Likely after the first of the year. DD2 still wakes up 1-2 times per night at 3.5 so I have a lingering hope them sharing a room will help (please God). Or at least that DD2 will go into bed with DD1 when she wakes up instead of calling for me.

Symptoms? I'm feeling her more and more, larger rollovers and bigger kicks. I ran last week and was a little uncomfortable during the run ( belly bouncing) but had no residual pain.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave: I ran last week and was a little uncomfortable during the run ( belly bouncing) but had no residual pain. I used my belly band on top of some compression pants.  I think I'll try other belly support methods to keep running for as long as I can.

GTKY: How far along are you on the nursery? Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? My husband and DSS painted the nursery last week and moved the guest bed into DSS's room. We still need the crib, and to modify the closet in her room.  It was great to get that step done before we have any baby stuff.

GTKY: How far along are you on the nursery? Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? We haven't really started yet. The plan is there and I've kind of started making some room. But I keep telling myself it won't take long to get it done..... i'm actually planning on really tackling that the week after Christmas when I'm on a staycation.

24 weeks - - viability,  right? 

Cantaloupe. 

I had a standard appointment today.  Fundal height = 29 cm = that of someone 29 weeks along.  Whoa.  Our son was measuring in the 90th percentile at the anatomy scan 5 weeks ago.  My doctor said she's not concerned,  but will continue to monitor.

Symptoms:  Seemingly burgeoning belly.  Lots of fetal movement. Congestion with loads of blood.  Trouble staying asleep.  Hot flashes. 

I've been getting lots of belly rubs. As a FTM I had assumed I would hate this,  but surprisingly I kind of like it...it's as though they're giving me & my baby good vibes.

GTKY: We have all of the nursery furniture assembled and are working on an art project for one of the walls.  Curtains are hung.  We're just waiting on the baby shower to see what else we need to purchase.

Friday - same routine I'm sure.  Weighing in, measuring fundal height, hearing the heartbeat review my blood pressure readings, the end.  I think a glucose test is coming up sometime soon.

Symptoms?

My carpal tunnel is worsening and the meralgia paresthetica pain is sometimes seriously awful - stop me in my tracks near tears awful

yikes! Nowhere near where I wanted to be however we did go through a lot and took a total of 12 boxes so far to Goodwill. There's still plenty to go through and lots to throw away.  The spare (aka junk) room is going to be the nursery.  We have had the crib still in its box for over a month and the dresser in its box for over 2 weeks and I'm dieing to see them put together.

Baby is the size of a coconut!

No appointments until January 6th. 

I threw my back out last week. I went to the chiropractor on Friday and was feeling some better. It hasn't been good yesterday or today. I go back tomorrow to the chiropractor. I'm nervous that this will be a continual problem until baby boy gets here. 
 
I can't think of any rants/raves/or questions today. 

We aren't worrying about baby's room until after Christmas. We need to get curtains and paint the walls mainly. We need to move all of DS's toys to the basement and organize those and are hoping to get a big shelf built for them.

We haven't started.... fail! We don't know the sex yet so I'm sure we will get rolling after that!

Appointments this week? I had an ultrasound yesterday to check for down syndrome and a few other things because I missed my second trimester screening. Doctor said everything looks perfect!

Symptoms? It's starting to get harder to get comfortable while laying down but that's it.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave: this is my favorite part of pregnancy! I have a cute little bump and I just now switched from my normal clothes to my maternity clothes. I can feel baby move but not to the point where it hurts yet. I'm going to enjoy this until I'm uncomfortable in 10 weeks!!!

Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? We have an extra room that will be babies room but for now we are keeping it as the guest room. We filled the closet and dresser with LO's clothes but that's it. We cosleep with our babies (DD still sleeps with us) so he will be with us at least the first year.

Symptoms? I was going to say none, but I threw up today while riving home from work so......

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm still a little sick with a horrible cough.  I just want to feel better.

Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep?   Nothing is done for the nursery.  I actually just found out that we will be moving August 1st (or mid July)  so I don't know if there is a point of doing up a  nursery.  Thoughts?

Symptoms?  Still feeling tired, some occasional nausea and I'm getting really winded lately.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave:  I'm in love with my bump!  I also LOVE feeling this little lady move around, she's so busy!

Or if no nursery is in the plans, how far along are you on the set up for where baby will sleep? : It's coming together!  We bought a convertible crib on black friday and DH & I went to Ikea last weekend to get her dresser and a storage cube.  I can't wait to see it when everything is in place
