No snow here in the valley of CA (we will rarely get a dusting that doesn't stick every , but it's been "cold" and rainy here lately. There is snow in our mountains about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. Stay safe out there Bump friends!
We have a couple of inches here in Minnesota. Enjoying a movie in bed. Trying to convince DH we don't need to drive 45 minutes to Costco later today because I want a lazy snow day
also, they are currently predicting 9 inches of snow for us on Friday. When I'm supposed to drive 25 minutes for a glucose test after work and then drive 5 hours to a family Christmas. Here's to hoping that forecast changes!
We had 4 inches where I am in Washington last week. It's gone now, and raining. Today and tomorrow it's supposed be a rain/snow mix. Hopefully we get a few white days before xmas!
I'm in Southern Ca so it's a high of 66 and a low of 57 - partly cloudy. This is considered "cold" by most Californian's standards. We have a lot of transplants that like to complain about Southern California winters though. But what can you do?
We got some precipitation that turned to mush when the temps went above freezing. It'll stay above freezing today for awhile so anything else we get will just be rain and mush. Ick. It's been so gray here for days too. I just want some sunshine.
We have gotten about 5 inches so far. It is supposed to snow for most of today. So, we will probably get another couple of inches. Super powdery and fluffy! So pretty!

We are in the low 70's here in Phoenix. I wish it would cool off...after a summer of 110 plus, I'm ready for temps in the 60's! We are heading up north with my in laws to their cabin soon and hoping to see some snow.
We had a huge blizzard here at the beginning of last week...so much snow! Today it's sunny out and I love how the sun reflects off the sparkly snow. It's also getting to be pretty frigid out, around -24 Celsius this morning
In Boston, expecting snow tonight and then rain tomorrow. Going to Maine next weekend and hoping for snow there--but the forecast isn't looking great for that.

Sunny and 75 in Louisiana! However, I'm looking at the weather for Chicago (going with DH for a conference) and starting to get worried. Big snow/ice storm supposed to come through on Saturday when we're supposed to be leaving. Oy....
Woke up to 1-2 inches yesterday morning here in Ohio. I got DS a really cute snowsuit on clearance last year, and wanted to take him out to play in the snow for the first time, but there really wasn't quite enough for that. We will probably have plenty of occasions to play in the snow later this winter.
I know this post is a few weeks old, but we got close to a foot of snow yesterday. I love it! If it's going to be this damn cold out, give me something pretty to look at!
We've had some lovely sunshine that's melting off the snow. I love sunshine, but I don't love wiping muddy dog paws every time she goes outside. We'll have warmer temps this week but then expected to have snow again next weekend. Back and forth like winter always is here.
Are you in the Midwest @HGRich? Sounds like my weather! I am not much of a winter person but the back and forth is getting ridiculous. I wish it'd just stay cold and then get warmer without dropping from 50s to 20s and then back up again!
@mylittleirvz agreed about the back and forth. I don't mind a reprieve I guess but I think I'd rather it just stay cold too--wreaks less havoc on health and cars and routines and such. Yes--Midwest born and raised, alas. Missouri girl.
Montana: We've had no reprieve from the snow and ice since my last posting. Occasionally it "warms" up to the 30s and that feels quite reasonable by comparison to say, -12 or -18 (yes, both actual temperatures in the last week). The snow covered mountains are beautiful, but I'm over the sub-zero nonsense.
It's -25 c with the windchill right now and we just got 35-40cm of snow last night. PEI Canada . There is a reason no one comes here when it's not summer haha.
I'm in the back and forth group as well. Was super cold this past weekend (single digits, below zero with wind chill) but is supposed to warm up this week with rain all week. I am not a huge fan of the cold, but I think I might prefer cold with sun to 30s-40s and rain...it's just so gloomy.
@chelle087 @HGRich Mid-west back and forth weather here too. 7 degrees F yesterday, supposed to be 57 degrees Wednesday. Every time the temp goes up, it is accompanied with rain!
Metro Atlanta actually got a little bit of snow and ice this weekend (though of course, it being Georgia, everyone freaked the F out. BUY ALL THE MILK, BREAD, AND TOILET PAPER!!! WE'LL BE STUCK FOR WEEKS!!!1!11!!!). It has been cold (proper cold, not just GA cold), but it's supposed to get up into the 70s by the end of the week. Wtf.
Bwhahahaha @Blueberry85 My grandma doesn't go out when it's raining. She legitimately goes out before a "storm" and buys enough supplies and food to last her for a few days.
