GTKY: Where are you at planning for baby?

How far along are you?  20 weeks

How big is baby? Banana

Symptoms? This is the first week where I consistently feel LO kicking in my tummy! I feel pretty good for the second trimester.

Rant/Rave/Questions? My rave is thank goodness for the invention of maternity leggings... I live in those right now.

GTKY: Where are you at planning for baby? Honestly I've done nothing besides line up some emergency contacts in case the baby arrives before my out of state family gets here. We have everything we need from DS1 and will get a new car seat closer to my due date.

How far along are you?  23 weeks

How big is baby? A grapefruit or a box of mac and cheese. Both of these seem smaller than the comparisons for last week, though. Silly.

Appointments this week? Yep, on Wednesday! Routine check-up with my midwives and a follow-up ultrasound as stubborn baby was stubborn during my anatomy scan 4 weeks ago and refused to let the tech get any shots of her face/brain.

Symptoms? More of the usual. Heartburn, RLP, a bit of lightning crotch. It's much harder to bend and get up from sitting. I might be getting another cold. Just what I need before a billion people descend on our house for Christmas. Awesome.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Well, I finally have a bump! But, this also leads to my rant. My cousin had a baby in July, and I loaned her nearly all of my maternity clothes for her pregnancy. About a month and a half ago I asked her to send everything back to me, just asking that she send it back within the month. However, it's coming up on two months since I first asked, and I've now had to remind her a couple times. Still no clothes. And I'm running out of things that fit but really don't want to buy anything new as this will more likely than not be my last pregnancy. Come on, girl, get your shit together, please!

GTKY: Where are you at planning for baby? Mostly just getting the house ready to put it on the market after the holidays. Since we're moving before baby gets here, there really isn't much we can do

Appointments this week? nope

Symptoms? some occasional headaches, short of breath, harder to bend over/get up off the floor, lots of movement

Rant/Rave/Questions? nothing really

GTKY: Where are you at planning for baby? doing pretty good, nursery is pretty much done, just have to work on her closet organization.

Appointments this week? My GD test is Saturday (I had GD with my last pregnancy)

Symptoms? Baby is a lot more active.  So happy about that.  But not happy about the sciatic nerve pain creeping up...

Rant/Rave/Questions? My dr wants me to come in for monthly ultrasounds since I have low papp-a.  Which is fine, but they are the opposite of my regular OB appointment.  I need to find a way to get these on the same day.

GTKY: Where are you at planning for baby?  LOL  someone at work gave me her old baby bjorn if that counts. I'll get cracking over the holidays.  We don't really need much since it's our second thankfully.
