How big is baby? As long as a banana or paper airplane
Appointments this week? 20 week checkup on Wednesday
Symptoms? Still just tons of indigestion and heartburn. I'll be asking for meds at this next appointment. Tums isn't cutting it anymore
Rants/Raves/Questions: I have 4 more days of work before winter holidays! We are going to Amsterdam for 5 days and then I'll be on my way home to see my family in Chicago! I'm so excited.

My husband I talked about this the other day. He's Arab so pretty dark tan/brown and I'm white. I most wonder whose skin tone the baby will get. Not that it matters at all but half my husbands siblings are whiter than I am so I'm curious which one they'll get.

Symptoms?
I'm still somewhat tired. Not as bad as first tri, but not the awesome energy I remember from second tri last time, which is a bummer. And the headaches are killing me this time around.

Excited and nervous for the ultrasound. This is what I'm considering the safe point of this pregnancy. Hoping all is well with this nugget and then we will let the world know we're pregnant!

Curious to see how similar this one and my daughter will look! And how much it will weigh at birth. My daughter was 9lbs 8 oz!

Rants/Raves/Questions: I hate that I am still bleeding. I am terrified of something going wrong, PGAL hasn't been kind anyway, and the constant bleeding/spotting is nerve wracking.

I am curious whos who's eyes he will have, and whose skin tone. H and I both have dark hair but his skin is much darker than mine and I have blue eyes where his are hazel/light brown.

Symptoms? Pure exhaustion, headaches, back pain, feeling stressed.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm sure being pregnant doesn't help any of this but my life feels so overwhelming right now. My 9-5 job has been a lot lately, plus it's the busy Christmas season for my etsy shop, then my DH decides to do everything possible to unhinge me. I had a panic attack last night. Decided I'm taking a mental health day on Monday to try to center myself and get caught up on my orders. I truly believe if I'm stressed this baby will be too, and it's my job to honestly take care of myself. Sorry for the essay. OH! And I've bought zero Christmas gifts.

@m3ganmc during the last heavy bleeding 2 weeks ago I had a perfect ultrasound and there was no concern. Now that I've been continuously heavy spotting for 2 weeks I'm calling again on Monday to get their thoughts. I'm trying not to worry to much, but it's easier said than done!!
@Jen_Shoes I am feeling pretty overwhelmed myself lately too. I work at the Post Office, and normally love my job, but this time of year things/people get crazy and it makes my job way more stressful. Plus, due to it being our busy season, I'm working 6 days a week. A day's respite sounds wonderful. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. Maybe I'll just treat myself that day.
@chailife34 welcome!! There was lots of drama on my last board too (March 2014) so joining this one was a nice change.

I have one on Tuesday. It was actually supposed to be this last Friday, but pregnancy brain made me completely forget, and I went to work instead. I felt like such an ass for being a no show to my doctor, and then I felt bad for having to tell my boss I can't work Tuesday when I'm already scheduled to. I don't feel that bad though. I've been helping another Post Office out lately, and I was supposed to be working there. They take advantage of me there big time, so I didn't really mind having to miss a day at that office.
Symptoms?
Gas and fatigue and headaches.

Our damn septic system went at our house this week. It cost $1000 to repair. It was pretty upsetting since it's right before the holidays. Good bye Christmas. It's been a stressful last few weeks!

Our other son was born with red hair. It was a shock at first because neither my husband, nor myself have red hair, but my husband has sandy colored hair and lots of red in his beard. And my hair pulls red in the sun. We have lots of red headed family members, so the potential was always there, it just wasn't what we were expecting.
I'm mostly curious to see if this one has red hair too, and how much like his brother he looks. I would also love for this one to get my eye color, since our first son's eyes are a carbon copy of his dads.
Sorry for the long posts this week! My son is sleeping in this morning, so I finally have a little free time to think/post!

Symptoms? nausea, vomiting, lower back pain, and emotional isn't even the right word for this roller coaster of feelings
Rants/Raves/Questions: As I get closer to my anatomy scan I keep freaking out about whether or not the placenta has moved away from my cervix. I just want to know if a vaginal birth will be even possible, it is weighing heavy on me this month.

Eyes: I want to know if my baby will have large, light brown eyes like my SO. His eyes are so big and I love them.
