HCG levels

Long story short this is my third pregnancy (first was completely normal, second was a miscarriage baby measured 6w5d) so this is the first time I've had my HCG levels monitored.
2 weeks 6days from LMP it was 112
3 weeks 1 day was 312
4 weeks 1 day was 10250

I was told two things could be happening, twins or misscarriage. Apparently your HCG levels can spike on the onset of a MC because your body is trying to save it. 

Obviously only time will tell. But I'm curious anyone else's HCG levels with this pregnancy and previous ones. Rather than go with Dr Google

Im not a doctor or anything - but those betas sound pretty normal? They double roughly eveey 48-72 hours. So at 3w4d they would be around 624 and then double it again to get you to about 4w, 624x2=1248. So your betas sound pretty spot on! Plus there is a pretty big range of 'normal' plenty of singleton pregnancies have high numbers and plenty of twins have betas that increase slowly. Hope this brings you some reasurance.

I've never once heard of any specific HCG reading (other than it NOT doubling) being indicative of miscarriage. And while sometimes high HCG can mean twins, it doesn't always mean that. I've known women with singletons whose HCG doubled in 24hrs, and women with multiples who had slower rising HCG.
 The only thing HCG difinintively tells you is that for the time being the pregnancy is (or isn't) appearing to progress as it should.
 Also, your numbers look completely normal, so I'm not sure why you were told anything about twins or miscarriage. My first beta (at 11DPO) was 44, then 3 days later it was 242 so it had A quick, 29 hour doubling time.

I haven't heard high levels lead to miscarriage. At 4 weeks my HCG level was 88 at 4+2 it was 207.

Your betas sound totally normal. Mine was also 112 but at 15 dpo (was 46 at 13 dpo). Congrats.

With IF you get monitored by beta a lot. That first beta looks more like twins than a loss coming, not saying it is but just meaning not sure why they would think a loss - they've been nice and high the whole time! (definately not a doctor But like the rest never heard of that. My m/c in March, never want over 200 - started low at 10 14dpo and stopped doubling a week or so later). Everyone is different for sure, I would love betas like that! Like everyone else has said, as long as it doubles!! 13dpo(14dpiui) mine was 181 and then 15dpo(16dpiui) it was 519.
