Monday morning I went for a round of tests (I am embarrassed now to say, I have no idea what they tested for). The doctor just said it was the initial blood work. I also had to do a 24 hour urine because of pre-eclamsia with my first pregnancy. Today, the doctor's nurse called me and told me that I needed to come in today to discuss my tests results. I am a nervous wreck. The nurse would not tell me if there was something wrong or he just wanted to discuss something. She just kept saying "he asked me to schedule you today in regards to your results." This did not happen my last pregnancy. And I know I am already high risk, I've already had cramping and bleeding this pregnancy, so my mind is flooding with "what ifs, can it be this/that..." I go today at 3:30, and my sister (who is an ER doctor... so I am confident she will be able to ask questions I may not be able to since I am so emotional) is going with me. Please say a prayer for me and the baby.

Last pregnancy, someone told me, "Don't borrow trouble." I know that is WAY easier said than done, but it became a good mantra for me whenever I started worrying.
@EmeraldNC I do not like it when they do that! I'd much rather have the Drs be upfront with me on the phone. FX that the appt goes well. Please let us know what happens!
Def thinking of you! I know how stressful test results can be. Stay positive, I firmly believe our babies can feel our emotions in some way, you don't want that little one to feel you worried or unhappy. Keep the faith!
You probably already went in to get your results, but calming vibes and T&Ps going up for you. I had gestational hypertension with DS and have been undergoing similar testing to make sure I don't end up with pre-E this time around.
So, everything is fine. My liver enzymes are elevated which literally has no effect on my pregnancy. I don't even know why they made me come in except to do more blood work. I'm aggravated and happy all at the same time!
