How far along are you? 17 weeks 

How big is baby? pomegranate 

Appointments this week? none till anatomy scan on the 22nd

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing? I'm convinced I'm having a girl but won't know till the 22nd. we had a scare on Thursday couldn't find heartbeat so they sent me to ultrasound and I got a mini tour DE baby and didn't see any tackle... who knows either way yet though. I'll announce with a cute card for my parents on Christmas and then try to do something nice for fb

Symptoms? still getting vomiting occasionally in the am it's not helping having phlegm from a cold in the back of my throat. appetite is getting better otherwise just sore low back. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant is for my drs office who took my blood for the 12 week Nt scan called me back saying everything is good and then I walk in Thurs for my 16 week and I have some issue with something called my Free B HCG hormone levels. I have a 1 in 5000 chance to have the baby, for no reason, stop having a heart beat. Also this issue is associated with low birth weight and low growth so i now have to go get a fancy 20 week ultrasound from maternal fetal medicine group at the hospital and will have to get ultrasound every 4 weeks to check on growth throughout pregnancy.  

Silver lining is this pregnancy Ill get to see baby alot it felt weird with the first going 20 weeks without seeing baby.

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? Christmas eve my cousins in long Island host Christmas day I'll host my parents for the first time. hang lights inside and decorate tree. pretty low key

Appointments this week?  Not this week, but need to schedule my anatomy scan and DD's next vaccination

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing?  Not yet and I have no idea what this little orangem could possibly be. I announced last week via baby bump selfie with DD that said "Guess What?" it worked and now more than just close family knows, not that I could hide it at this point.

Symptoms? Hard time sleeping and I keep waking up sore, I don't know how it's possible to hurt your shin in your sleep...

Rant/Rave/Questions? Question- Does anyone else think their EDD is off? I've always suspected it since my "LMP" is questionable and my symptoms just didn't really line up right. I know it's my 3rd pregnancy (1st was a loss so it's more like 2nd successful this far pregnancy) and I know you carry differently and usually bigger every time but I feel frickn' huge for 15 weeks...it's really start in to bug me how off it could be.

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? Yesterday, DD, my SIL and I baked our firat round of cookies. Our tree is up/house decorated and we've been wrapping presents like crazy. I have a tree lighting event with DD and my second family weekend and I'm just overall in full holiday mode.

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing? Not yet - will probably ask the doctor to put it in an envelope and open with close family on Christmas. (Which also happens to be husband's birthday!) 

Symptoms? Just a backache and growing bump. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? We had a beautiful snowy day today which put me in such a delightful holiday mood. And then my bff came over and we sat around watching movies. It was pretty great. 

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? Spending time with family and finding out baby's gender.

@Yiggle09 hope it all goes well! But glad you get to see baby more often.

Appointments this week? Yes! Hopefully we can finally hear the heartbeat!

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing? We don't know yet and are 95% team green.

Symptoms? Still some digestion problems, some fatigue, and I think bloat

Rant/Rave/Questions? @OmegaRose3, I have a feeling that my due date is off. No real reason other than a feeling.

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? Our plans include having family tell us a million times that they wish we could spend more time with them while driving all around the state to see them in 2 days. It may stress me out a little every year...

Appointments this week? routine visit Wednesday

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing? Don't know. Don't think I will "announce" it. We'll let close family and friends know and just let the news trickle down. 

Symptoms? Dizziness worse than 1st tri. Backaches. Emotional outbursts. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave #1 - H cleaned the entire apartment this weekend, and made dinner twice this week. After we discovered we were pregnant, he decided he should learn how to cook. I actually think he's a better cook than I am. 

Rave #2 - There is no doubt in my mind I felt the kid move tonight. Felt like something I never experienced before. 

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? Our families live within the same area. We'll probably see my family in the morning and have dinner with his.

Symptoms? Always thirsty, pelvic pain, very little patience with everyone

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? I am hosting Noche Buena the 24th at my house with my fam and then we go to my husbands family's for Christmas Day dinner for the big gift exchange. I am most excited for our little traditions like Zoo lights, Santa, baking cookies then driving around with hot cocoa looking at xmas lights.

Do you know the sex? How are you planning on announcing? We're putting the results in an envelope and opening a gift on Christmas Eve as a reveal with family.  

Symptoms? Same old...exhaustion, which made me feel sick; some digestive isses most likely related to my hiatal hernia and GERD (sucks!). 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant: the bump app is horrible sometimes!! Some of you may have seen me "give up" the other day when posting...it wouldn't save what I typed up and would only post the first sentence! I was so annoyed!! 

Not really a rant, but sort of a rave along with some not great news: our little dog, Stella, has stones in her bladder again and has to have surgery tomorrow I was bawling in the vet's office Saturday. It just makes me so nervous, but the vet was great! She was super nice and it was our first visit with them, which made me feel better. She worked with us for the cost of everything and said she will take care of her.  

GTKY What are your plans for the upcoming holidays if you celebrate? My sister will come in town for a few days and then it will just be our close family. Most of our families live in other states, so we just hang out at our house (live with my parents and brother who just moved to FL this past summer, we can't wait to finally be out sometime at the beginning of the year! Looking for houses soon )The most exciting part will be opening the gender reveal! Oh, and my mom, sister, and I always make a ton of cookies and chocolates while watching Christmas movies.

@Yiggle09 LOL, I just figured out what the "siggy" was myself.  It just means your signature. Someone has been creating a thread at the beginning of each month with a "siggy challenge" and really it's just posting a themed picture in your signature. December's theme is a holiday picture that makes you happy. I think November's was a funny Thanksgiving fail.
