How far along are you? 29 weeks today!

How big is baby? Baby averages 15inches & 2.5 lbs! Ovia says Barbie convertible-haha love love love their hand growth pics! 

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? Next apt is a week from Monday. On the every two week schedule now! 

Any new symptoms or changes? Past week has been a hard one! Noticeably bigger, harder to get around, more achy, bit of returning nausea and exhaustion. Hopefully it doesn't get too much worse too soon, still have quite a few weeks to go! Oy!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just excited to cross off the days to go till baby. Enjoying the busy of the holiday season helps to pass the time. Wrapped some presents last night while watching Christmas movies.  While being excited for time to pass: I'm also anxious about being a mom to 2 under 2! This week has been such a rough one with my toddler and I can't begin to imagine how I will handle the rough days like these with a newborn in tow too!  At least I'll have a nice big glass of wine waiting for me at the end of the day  

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?  Definitely consider myself introverted-but it's interesting to see how I've moved along the spectrum over the years. I was more introverted in college when I was around ppl all the time. Now that I'm a SAHM and I need socialization I'm still introverted but have taken bigger steps towards extrovert on the personality scale.

Any new symptoms or changes? Just starting to FEEL a lot bigger. Also hungry ALL the time. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? None that I can really think of. I've been really slacking on exercise and eating a lot of sugar this past week. I need to get that under control.... haha. Also found out my doctors aren't making me do the diabetes test. Score!

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? Most definitely an extrovert, although slowly moving more to the middle as I get older. I go insane when I spend too much time on my own and not around people.

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? Had one friday; glucose test is on the 295th. Then every two weeks after that. How are we already at that point????

Any new symptoms or changes? Low bp is annoying Baby is moving like crazy though which is nice. I could literally do kick counts.

Rants/Raves/Questions? When is everyone planning to start their maternity leave? I told my boss Friday, March 3rd (I'll be 37 weeks that weekend), but my husband is convinced I'll carry baby til 41weeks and have an unpaid month for nothing, lol. Sorry honey. Last time I went straight from work to hospital to be induced. Thr ain't happening this go round! 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? interesting question! My husband and I are opposites. He is a quiet extrovert. He thrives on being around people, has many friends he speaks to occasionally around the country, and feels like his weekend is wasted if he doesnt go anywhere. I am a loud introvert. I get drained by crowds bigger than 3 and need quiet time every day by myself to rejuvenate. If you meet us though, he is so reserved and I am so chatty socially that youd swear it was the other way around.

@longliveregina I know!! Every two week appointments! It's crazy.

And I set my maternity leave last time at 37wks, and was sent to the hospital for induction the day I finished work toooo.  It was so stressful. Don't think about it like unnecessary and unpaid. Even if you don't have baby yet, It would be so great for you to have a week or two to just relax and spend time prepping and with your son before he's not an only child.

@longliveregina I'm taking my maternity leave from 38 weeks... mostly for financial reasons. BUT I'm tapering clients off from the middle of February, so I'm not ending with all of my clients that last week. I'll be half time from 35 weeks.

Any new symptoms or changes? I think I felt the baby hiccuping for the first time. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I got a doll for DS to practice with and showing him how to feed and burp it made me so excited to hold my baby and for DS to meet him/her.

  Any new symptoms or changes? Crotch pain is getting worse. I had this with DS too but it seems worse this time. I'm going to start wearing a support belt to see if that relieves any of the pain. I also feel huge.
  
  Rants/Raves/Questions? Booked a hospital tour and big sibling class for DS. I wasn't going to do either but changed my mind last minute. The tour is next weekend
  
  GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I think I am an extrovert. I love talking to people and usually have no problem striking up conversations with people I don't know.

Any new symptoms or changes? Some swelling in my legs and night sweats which I didn't anticipate. I'm also like a bottomless pit... if there's food in front of me I will never stop eating! 

Rants/Raves/Questions? 
Rant- people keep asking me when I'm due like it's any day now and then are shocked when I say I have 3 months left (even strangers.) 

Rave- baby is moving like crazy! I love feeling his tiny kicks and punches! Although sometimes they're not so tiny. Hehe 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I think a little bit of both. I love to be out and about, but I definitely need time to recharge afterwards. I've been a little more on the introvert side with being pregnant since I just don't have the energy and much prefer my husband's company and undivided attention with how hormonal I am.

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? 3 hr GTT was on Saturday. No fun. My next appts are next week: another u/s on the 12th and an OB appt on the 14th. 

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm starting to feel very...pregnant. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm exhausted but we finally got the tree up. The living room looks Iike crap aside from the tree but the empty Christmas tubs can wait to be put away.

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I'm definitely a little of both. I'm outgoing but draw my energy from quiet moments by myself. I would much rather be home on a Friday night than out with friends.

@longliveregina Last time around I worked until the day I was induced. I still work at the same company and it's right across the street from the hospital I'll deliver at so I really have no excuse to do the same again. It's probably safer for me to be at work than at home since DD came so quickly.

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? Not this week. Last week's appointment went well, my OB isn't too concerned with weight gain and said as long as I am trying to eat healthy and staying semi active she isn't worried about a couple extra pounds (and according to their records I'm right on schedule anyway). Next visit is 12/28 for my glucose test and then I'll be every 2 weeks after that!!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope, just lots of movement mostly morning and evening

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just excited about the holiday season! I really don't have much on my own wishlist this year but I have been busy figuring out gifts for everyone else and I love it. Still need to get everything wrapped though. Got our tree put up a couple weekends ago and finally got it decorated yesterday and put our wreath out so we're getting there!

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I used to say extrovert but more and more now I want to do nothing but stay at home with my husband and dog lol. I guess I'm at the low end of the extrovert scale because I do love talking and interacting with friends but not always meeting new people and such.

Any new symptoms or changes? Lots of movement, definitely feeling crowded in my belly

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- my dog spazzed last night and planted a foot smack dab in the middle of my belly as he was running across our bed. DH was still freaking out this morning. LO has been moving lots ever since, so I think we're fine, but it was super scary when it happened.

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? In social situations, I'm initially an extrovert, but become an introvert at the situation progresses. It's like I only have so much energy for it and then I run out and need to recharge. Day to day- I'm more introverted. I despise talking on the phone.

How big is baby? size of an eggplant, a gi joe, or a puffin.

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? None this week. Next one is end of Dec.

Any new symptoms or changes? My back is getting super sore by the end of the day. I think its time to get a support belt. Also, I had my first leg cramp of the pregnancy this morning. Hurt so bad and even after it passed, I couldn't walk on the leg when I first got up.

Rants/Raves/Questions? 
- Rant: I have a cold. It's so miserable. I can barely breathe. I'm coughing so much that my throat is sore. I'm barely sleeping. DH actually moved into the guest bedroom in the middle of the night so that he could get some sleep.
- Rave: We're headed to NYC for a mini-babymoon this weekend! Going to see the tree and will catch a performance of the Lion King.
- Question: Any recommendations for a support belt?

Any new symptoms or changes?  Just a 12 pound weight loss from stress. Baby is fine and taking what it needs from me, but I am definitely going to pay for this later in life. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Had a birthday party for DS on the weekend, then put up our tree and went for breakfast with Santa. Finding lots of strength in being his mom. I couldn't imagine walking away and missing out on all these special moments. Every day with him gives me so much to be grateful for and so many reasons to smile. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? Somewhere in between. I work a pretty social job, but I am definitely on the more reserved side.

@ShaunaT25  Im so sorry that this is taking such a toll on you. I hope you can try to eat more and stress less ((I know, so easy said, so hard done) praying for you.  So happy that you can find such joy in your DS. 

@RunBooRun  no recommendation on a belt.. the one I'm using isnt even for pregnancy--SI joint belt, just a no name brand from CVS/Walmart deal.  IMO they all do the job  Hope that it can bring you some relief!

@Bradleerick Its hard to not be scared with those moments! Glad LO is moving around just fine.  My first pregnancy I remember talking all about the animals jumping on the bump with one of my bffs who was pregnant at the time too and having it terrify me--this time around, my toddler is constantly climbing and bouncing on my bump-its like her own little jungle gym.haha.  Our bodies are amazing and protecting those babes really well!! So no fear!!

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? We have the follow-up to check on baby's brain and kidneys. I'm excited to get more pics but the nerves are coming back full-force. 

Any new symptoms or changes? I have what I think is SI joint pain on one side of my lower back. Ugh. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? 
@RunBooRun enjoy Lion King! Love it. I have the pregnancy support belt that Belly Bandit makes. I'm not 100% on how much difference the belt makes, but I do like the heating/cooling insert it comes with. Heat definitely helps my back. 

@ShaunaT25 glad to hear you're enjoying the season with your kiddo. +1 for hope you can take care of yourself too. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? Balance. More introverted, but I really like having a social life - a small group of friends I can really rely on, and a larger group to have fun with.
