How many weeks are you? What's new with your little babe? 35 weeks today! One week away from being 9 months! He is as big as a pineapple today.

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival? I am halfway through packing the hospital bag. Will finish this weekend.

Questions / Concerns / Symptoms / Questions: Have any of you experienced arthritis like symptoms in your fingers during your pregnancy? Over the last couple of weeks, it has been painful to grip or bend my fingers. I just think it's strange and curious if it could be pregnancy related.

When's your next appointment? December 14th.

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas / Holiday song? I love retro ones.  Marshmallow World by Darlene Love is probably my favorite.

How many weeks are you? What's new with your little babe?  33 weeks today!  We had our last ultrasound on Tuesday and our "little" guy is weighing in at 4.7 pounds.  Everyone else, including the doctor, seems to think this is on target but I was a little surprised at how big he is, especially considering we have 7 weeks to go!

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?  My baby shower is tomorrow!  I'm looking forward to it!  Next week we'll start clearing his room out and putting furniture together. 

Questions / Concerns / Symptoms / Questions:  I've been dealing with a sinus infection for the last week and the doctor said there's not a whole lot I can do for it.  Between that and the vivid dreams I find myself up a lot more throughout the night.  Everyone keeps saying now is the time I should be getting my rest but I just can't sleep through the night anymore/ 

When's your next appointment?  Thursday, December 8 for my regular 2 week appointment. 

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas / Holiday song?  Sooo many to choose from.  I'm the nut that starts listening to Christmas music the week before Thanksgiving.  I love "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Dominic the Donkey."

Hi Everyoneee!!

I'm working from home today and avoiding work as much as I can.  Not ideal when I have so much to finish before I go on maternity leave THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!

How many weeks are you? What's new with your little babe?
34 Weeks.  Baby can apparently start remembering songs, which made me realize I've forgotten every baby song I ever learned.  Baby might have to hear me sing the Hamilton soundtrack instead. 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
I just did round one of laundry (whites) and realized baby has a ton of clothes for her first 3 months.  Though I think she needs more hats and cardigans. #babygapaddict  I also just inflated my birth ball.  Oh and we finally started labor/parenting classes.  As predicted I think we're the youngest in the class (we're 30, but that's under the London average) and the only non homeowners.  Hopefully we make friends!

@gonetothesea I haven't had that symptom but I wouldn't be surprised!  I'm just getting loads of back pain and not helping it by slouching (hence the birth ball).  Baby's movements are also getting really forceful as she grows, which can be uncomfortable. 

When's your next appointment?
Doula appt on Sunday and then midwife appt on Wednesday.  Hopefully she can tell me what position baby is in because I have NO idea. I feel all my movement above my belly button but on both sides.

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas / Holiday song?
David Bowie and Bing Crosby's Peace on Earth/ Little Drummer boy.  I love that song SO MUCH.

32. Apparently, he's really into karate moves. Who knew? 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
I officially ordered some of the things we need this time around--like a new mattress and changing pad cover, some new wash cloths and some cute hats. I think I'll be able to get the nursery finished this month. Yay!

Fatigue is so back. And discharge. Ugh. 

When's your next appointment?
Next week. 

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas / Holiday song?
O Holy Night. A good version can bring me to tears, even pre-pregnancy. And Baby it's Cold Outside. All the classics, I'm not into new versions.

How many weeks are you? What's new with your little babe?
35, only 3 left.  Holy cow. They were both head down last week but Baby B flipped and is now breech. I don't know how there is room to flip in there.

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?  
Installing all the car seats this weekend after DH picks up flooring at the store.  I got our hospital bag and DS's overnight bag packed and pre-registered at the hospital.  Finally feeling like we're semi-prepared if these two arrive.

Questions / Concerns / Symptoms / Questions:  
Just so tired at this point, ready to not be pregnant and not have so many appointments.  I'm not driving anymore and it's frustrating to have to schedule everything now since DH has to drive me everywhere so I need to work around everyone's schedule.  I've been trying to soak up one-on-one time with DS as much as possible.  I'm a little sad our time as a family of three is nearing an end.

When's your next appointment?  
NST today.  NST next Tuesday, perinatologist next Wed, OB next Thursday and NST next Friday. So tired of all the appointments.

GTKY: What's your favorite Christmas / Holiday song?  
I looooove Christmas music.  Favorite is probably Transiberian Orchestra.  I can't pick just one song though.

How many weeks are you? What's new with your little babe?
34 weeks today! Just 6 more to go! This is getting real guys, December will be over before we know it. Don't know how much this little guy can grow, it really feels like hes running out of room. 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
Just stalk my registry everyday. Baby shower next week! Saturday is just friends, both boys and girls. Sunday is more formal with only the women in the family. Feel like it'll be awkward as I am not close with most of them, but heck, they're family.

Discharge. Hips hurt when I manage to sleep. But DH claims I sleep like a baby and snore all night. Yea, sure buddy. And just being an overall whale.

Oh I love them all, I can't really pick one! Little Drummer Boy is high on the list!

32 weeks!! Hubby and I have 8 weeks left of solitude! 

What are you doing this week to prepare for baby's arrival?
Everything is pretty much done and waiting for baby!  Still deciding on a doula...  and watching tons of babywearing how-to videos online. Can't wait to try all the wraps and carries! 

Questions / Concerns / Symptoms / Questions:
Question: I had an ultrasound last Friday at 31 weeks. Baby was breach at that time. At my follow-up appt with OB this Monday, she suggested I go for acupuncture to help flip the baby.  Isn't it too early for that? And what if the baby has already flipped and I'm spending money for nothing? Anyone else with experience here?

@gonetothesea I have had issues with carpal tunnel which has felt similar to what you describe. It's all to-do with swelling, increased blood volume trying to pass through the wrists. I found that sleeping in wrist braces helped as I was become really incapable of simple tasks lol 
For me fingers crossed it has got a lot better and I'm not having to use braces at the moment.
