Im 13 weeks with my 2nd baby and just felt him/her kicking a couple of times. With this being my second pregnancy I know what kicks feel like compared to gas. And this baby is definitely kicking! Any other mommas feeling anything?
I was going to post today asking when was the earliest people have felt kicks with 2+ pregnancies. I don't think I've felt kicks yet. I also had an anterior placenta with my last two, so I didn't feel kicks until much later.
I definitely felt kicks at 13wks with my second baby. My other 2 pregnancies I had anterior placentas and didn't feel kicks until much later.

Wow this is getting me excited! I'm also 13 weeks and I don't think I've felt anything yet. Just a lot of little pains here and there which just feels like my uterus expanding. Being a FTM though I don't really know what anything is supposed to feel like!

Yep! I felt some movement last week at 12 weeks. I actually think I felt some movement around 11 weeks as well! Baby is definitely in the spot where I feel movement. It's nice knowing exactly what the feeling is!

I'm super excited for you and other FTMs, kicks are definitely an amazing feeling. Initially, I think they feel like butterflies or gas bubbles, but around 15ish weeks, they become easier to distinguish.
I felt movement at 11.5 weeks and definite kicks at 12. This little girl is feisty! I didn't feel anything with my son until closer to 20 weeks so it definitely had me thinking I was crazy but there is no mistaking it. I also lost 15 lbs from vomiting constantly so I think being extra thin right now made it easier for me to feel them.
Yay! I'm so excited to hear that a lot of you felt kicks/movement early on! I'm a STM and didn't feel kicks until about 18-20 weeks the first time, but hoping I can recognize the flutters earlier on this time since I know what they feel like! Woo hoo!
I had anterior placenta with #1 so I didn't feel her at all until one solid kick at 18 weeks and then not again until after 20 weeks. I'm told it's annoying early on to not feel anything but preferable later because I rarely felt hard kicks ever, just muted slow movement like someone moving through jello.
I'm going to ask at my NT scan Friday if the placenta is anterior again...I won't be 12 weeks until Friday so I figure I have a few weeks still regardless.
I first felt kicks around 14 weeks last time; just a few at first, but fairly consistent and stronger by 16 weeks. I also had an anterior placenta, so that does not necessarily mean you won't feel those early kicks!
I felt some flutters and movement at 12-12.5ish weeks this time. 2nd pregnancy. It was definitely the baby and not gas! Excited to feel more movement soon. One of my favorite parts of pregnancy!
I thought you couldn't feel movement till 16-25 weeks unless maybe you're pregnant with multiples or something. That's crazy that sometimes people feel movement a lot earlier. I was fully expecting to not feel anything till 20 weeks or so.
ETA: I'm 12w2d now and I definitely haven't felt anything.

Wow! I didn't feel movement with my twin pregnancy until 23-24 weeks. I was using my doppler last night and SWORE I felt the baby move, but I'm also 99% sure it was just gas. I'm 12 weeks now.

Second pregnancy and 13 weeks 4 days today. I've felt the "whooshing quick flutters" for about a week now. No actual "kicks" yet. Just the quickening feeling.
After all this baby movement talk I had a dream last night about feeling the baby move. Yes, excited and full of anticipation for the flutters, but really can't wait for full movement.
I dreamt that I could feel the baby turn around right under my rib cage. You know... the alien baby movements. Weirdest and best feeling ever!!
My second I felt at 13 weeks. My first at 15 weeks (and he had an anterior placenta.) This one - and I know it seems crazy - but I've been feeling Mini since in-between 10-11 weeks. Not patterned at all obviously and mostly at night when I lay down but those be baby movements in there for sure. Not too soon in my book!

I can't recall when I felt #2 but I know it wasn't as early as some of you! #1 wasn't until at least 17-18 weeks and it was just the slightest quickening. I would be so excited to feel something as early as some of you!

Okay good, I'm not crazy. ;-) Okay, maybe. I felt baby at around 12.5 weeks and kept thinking it had to all be in my head. I felt DD around 15 weeks, so I was expecting it to be around then again but I have continued to feel it (13w2d today).

I don't want to be that guy, but.... are those of you less than 13 weeks and feeling "kicks" certain that isn't just Thanksgiving dinner rolling through??? OK so I kid (kind of), but I'm on pregnancy #3 and think myself fairly in tune with my body. I felt DS (#1) at 20 weeks and DD (#2) early at 16 weeks. I'm not expecting much from this LO for a few more weeks (I'm 12w on Wednesday). I know twins are a different story, but unless your bean is destined to be the next karate kid, anything under 13w seems really early. Sorry everyone... I guess I'm "that guy".
@elyse1384 I was waiting for someone to post something similar to this. I'm certain I have felt what I know to be baby movement. I know what I am feeling and I know the difference between baby movement and gas or food, etc. Some people feel it sooner, some feel it later. I felt my first two sooner than you felt your first two. Nothing to do with being "in tune" with your body IMO, just feeling your baby and that's not something you being "that guy" by saying its too early is going to take away from me (and shouldn't from anyone else feeling movement.) I'm in tune enough to know that its not Thanksgiving dinner rolls, though.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm 13 weeks. I felt something that felt almost exactly like a little kick today, but it was up by my ribs so I'm pretty sure it was all the Thanksgiving leftovers. I was super excited for a second though. Haha
When pregnant with DD2 I remember asking my OB when I might expect to feel kicks sooner than I did with DD1.
She told me there is no way anyone is feeling anything prior to the skeletal system hardening. She said the fetus is just too small and not strong enough and regardless of what number pregnancy you're on, no one's actually feeling the baby until closer to 18 weeks.

I could feel the baby kick on the outside at 19 weeks, so no.... I think most of the "kicks" we've seen posted about are more flutters and movement than actual hard kicks this early, but yeah, you don't really know what someone else is feeling unless you are them.
@mirdamae03, I'm just sharing what my OB, someone with 30 years of experience and six children of her own, including two sets of twins, shared with me.
With either of my pregnancies I couldn't be positive that what I was feeling what baby until much closer to 20 weeks, so I've had no reason to doubt her expertise.
I've heard of so many moms who go for an ultrasound 12-15 weeks, and they report a kick or flutter and the tech has seen baby kick on the scan. OBs can absolutely have opinions regarding this, but I think ultimately, mother knows. Ok yes it was gas at 7 weeks, but if you're feeling something in the exact place your uterus is, and can distinguish it from gas... then heck of a good chance it was your baby. oh
It isn't that you are feeling "kicks" but you can feel fetal movement (quickening) anywhere from 13-25 weeks, so it's highly possible to end up on either side of that broad range. Some may feel it a tad earlier and others may not feel any movement until way later. 6 weeks is definitely gas
Can't wait to feel something! For my first it wasn't until like 22+ weeks. My OB suggested 18 weeks this go around. I'll take whatever I can get, it will definitely help me feel more at ease!
I'm so excited to get to this point! I loved every movement that I experienced with my first. I'm not certain but I think it was around 15/16 weeks last time and I definitely could feel that goldfish flopping type of movement and not to be confused with a gas bubble. However I couldn't feel karate kicks outside the stomach until 22 weeks.
I was 16 weeks with my first when I was sure what I was feeling. I'm sure some women feel it earlier. And they say with subsequent pregnancies you probably feel it earlier. I have no memory of these details with my second. Poor kid is the forgotten middle child already.
I'll admit I have no clue what I'm feeling, but throughout the day yesterday I kept feeling little sharp "twinges." Not really sure how else to describe it, but it was down in my uterus area. I'm not sure how anyone can know for sure if it's baby movements or something else though. I'm looking forward to the day that I know my baby is moving in there!
