Heads-up! Recall on hummus

Sorry if this should be in a certain thread somewhere but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it. There's a recall in all 50 states for Sabra hummus due to Listeria. It's precautionary but with our pregnancies I know we need to be super vigilant.

Ugh, thanks for sharing.  I saw this in the news and was so annoyed.  Sabra spicy hummus with whole wheat pita has been one of the reasonably healthy things I've been able to eat without issue.  I threw out what was left in  my fridge today while ranting to my husband about avoiding deli meat just to have this come up

So... not to take over this thread... but ever since my first pregnancy ~ 4+ years ago, I've noticed the only instances of recalls or reporting listeria have been in a specific grocery chain's baked goods, fresh produce (melons and spinach), and now hummus.

Why can't I have a sub? Seriously?!? (I know why, but it still bothers me...)

Thanks OP for sharing this though!!  We used to eat it all the time until we found out DS2 is allergic to chickpeas and sesame seeds... no hummus in the house anymore.

We literally go through 1-2 containers of it a week! I had just thrown one out that we finished, and had 2 more in the fridge  took them back to kroger and got out money back... bought the Boars Head one instead... lol if this gets recalled I'm just going to start making my own.
