Sabra Hummus Recall

Hey everyone! Not meaning to scare anyone, just inform: I just learned of a hummus recall on dozens of Sabra products, due to potential contamination with Listeria. Unfortunately I have had one of the affected products in my fridge for the past month and have consumed it. Just wanted you all to be aware, since infection can be much more serious in pregnant women and their little ones. If you think you've been exposed, I would bring it up with your doctor just to be safe! If you want to read more about affected products, here's a link to Sabra's website:

Thanks for posting this. I was just telling DH last night about the potential for hummus to have listeria in it.

Thanks .... I have one of the products in my fridge. I just started feeling nauseated a couple days  ago so I haven't touched the hummus yet !

Greeeeeaaaat. I ate so much of that product this week!!! And have been feeling terrible, but pregnancy seems to make me feel terrible. Anyone following up with their doctor on this? Not sure if I should call the on-call for the weekend or just wait until tomorrow?

Edited to include: I'm already immunocompromised due to Type 1 Diabetes so I'm at a higher risk.

@TalesOfASocialIntrovert I don't think it would hurt to wait until tomorrow, unless you're having any severe symptoms or have a fever. I'm definitely bringing it up with my doctor on Tuesday! I had the Sabra "singles" and they had been in my fridge since the end of September (still covered by the recall). I haven't noticed any weird symptoms over the last couple of months, but I want to make him aware of it just to be safe.

Does anybody know is Sabra makes TJs hummus? Their recalls are sometimes a little behind the main brand. Not to be alarmist, just don't want to risk it.

looks like some articles on google say no, hot mama foods makes it. Of course google is not always right but made me feel a little better.

DH texted me about this this morning because I eat a lot of hummus, but thankfully not Sabra.  Hope ya'll are feeling better and/or are not affected!

So annoying as its been one of those things that has tasted amaaaaazing in the last week or two.  Bummer!
