2. How are you feeling? Overall pretty good although I did have a little bit of upset stomach after eating yesterday

Now a little nervous - woke up at 330 am to pee and when I wiped, there was pinkish blood so I'm going back to bed and going to try and sleep and hope it's gone in the morning.

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? Not this week

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms? I have my dental cleaning later today and I am a bit anxious about it because of being pregnant but I'm sure it will be fine.

@SaphireSweetie88  yum! Also, dental cleanings were ok when i was pregnant with DS.  My gums bled a little more, which I guess is common, and they avoided x-rays.  Other than that it was no different!

I had a horrible headache yesterday that carried into today.  I got them bad when I was pregnant with DS and I get hormonal headaches when AF comes as well... so I guess I will get them this pregnancy too. Other than that, great! I think I'm too early for anything else haha.  

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? Nope! Not til December 16th.. SO far away!

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms A big project at work got pushed out so now I'm stuck working 6:30a to 11p.  Awesome.  Although... nothing can beat the high of the BFP I just got soo... it will be ok! 

5. GTKY: Who's your celebrity crush? Can I just say the stereotypical Channing Tatum? Because... yum.  I can't gif him because I'm at work and I'm pretty sure most of the ones that would show up would be NSFW haha.

Yes!  U/S showed lo is about 3 days behind where calculated.  Heart rate 151.  OB said "looks like this one is going to stick".  I'm over the moon.

2. How are you feeling? Pretty nauseous for the most part. Overall trying to be optimistic, but I've had some bouts of serious anxiety. 

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? On Tuesday! I am excited and hoping I can at least hear the heartbeat. I know I will be measuring behind because I ovulated a little late this cycle. I just really want some reassurance that everything is progressing okay in there.

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms DH and I had our home inspection completed yesterday, and with the exception of a few minor hiccups, we passed with flying colors!! We are set to close on January 2nd if all goes smoothly. 2017 will certainly be a year for the books! 

5. GTKY: Who's your celebrity crush?
I need to preface this by saying in reality I am a very conservative, rule follower type of girl. I love everything about DH and his personality compliments mine so well, but my celebrity crush, Matty Healy, is opposite of DH in every single way imagineable. I can't help my alter ego goes for the bad boys...

2. How are you feeling? Bloated as hell. A little crampy and dizzy but nothing crazy.

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? I had bloodwork done yesterday to check my progesterone levels since I typically start spotting at 10DPO. Just a precaution.

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms Well my rave is that I'm finally KTFU. Its been a long 7 months yall. I do have a question though... how many of yall are still drinking coffee? I have a mild addiction and I'm having withdrawal symptoms (that's embarrassing) from not having a cup yesterday and today.

5. GTKY: Who's your celebrity crush? Channing Tatum. No shame. Although he is my DH's half sister's cousin so I cant gush too much around family when he is brought up haha

@shstephenson @GeorgiaWife6912 so glad to see you both here!! I am still drinking coffee occasionally. I wasn't a big coffee drinker to begin with, but I did some research about caffeine amounts online, and discovered that a tall Starbucks latte (for example) has around 75mg of caffeine, which is still on the safe side. I think if youre aware of how much you're drinking daily, and make sure to stay in the safe zone, you should be fine.

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms: I'm having an internal struggle on telling my boss. He's back over our department after some internal turmoil, and is reorging the entire thing. Part of this is that he needs to head to Manila and the expectation is of course that I go with him. With the holidays and everything else going on, there are limited options to get there before the end of the year, and I don't want to go until AFTER my appointment to make sure everything is ok. I know from the many trips I've made there that it really jacks with my cycles, so knowing that, i'm hesitant to go before so I need to let him know what's up. Ugh. 

5. GTKY: Who's your celebrity crush? Ummm... Charlie Hunnam is hot. That's all.

2. How are you feeling? Still can't believe it's real. Might have peed on another stick this morning just to see the positive again! A little crampy, but nothing major.

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? I'll see my PCP on Monday. I don't have an ob/gyn, so she said to call her when we got a positive. Not sure what all the appt will entail (hopefully blood work to make sure levels are ok). Plus, I'm Rh negative, so I want to make sure I know what I need to look out for etc. Also hoping she'll have some referrals to obs in my area.

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms I'm so excited that we had so many TTGP grads yesterday! No rants, other than DH having a man cold... I feel like he wasn't nearly as excited as I was hoping when I told him yesterday. Boys.

@shstephenson 200 miligrams a day of caffeine is totally fine. That's a little more than one cup of drip coffee, but honestly, as you get further along, the coffee might be tough on your stomach. A latte actually has less caffeine and is a little easier to get down. And WAIT WHAT on your Channing Tatum connection!?!?

2. How are you feeling? Well, I just made my husband make me toast because I felt too sick to get off the couch, so, you know. It's funny, right now I'm on a fairly consistent "schedule": feel deeply hungover when I wake up, then have a good bit from an hour after breakfast to a little past lunch, then exhausted, then nauseated again before dinner, then fine til the morning. Glad it's not TOO extreme yet, but, you know, I've felt better.

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? Gotta go in for another blood test tomorrow - if my progesterone levels aren't way up, they're going to double my dose. Just hoping this baby sticks while we figure it all out!

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms My SIL and her husband and adorable baby are coming tomorrow for an early Thanksgiving! We're going to tell them, which I'm excited about, and we're having a full Thanksgiving dinner Saturday...which I'm mostly cooking. Hoping to harness those morning hours today where I feel okay to get most of it prepped!

2. How are you feeling? A little queasy in the mornings but it usually subsides by the time I get to work. I've been exhausted by 6 pm and going to bed around 7:30 - 8pm.

I was supposed to be on vacation all next week for Thanksgiving. I'm probably just going to take the day before off now so I can save my vacation time to extend my maternity leave. I'm hosting and cooking this year, so I'm starting to stress about having energy to get everything prepared and my house cleaned without those extra days.

@saphiresweetie88 thankfully it doesn't actually hurt, I just know it's there from feeling the hole. I have a feeling they are going to want to do a root canal or pull it. UGH. I hate dentists...

2. How are you feeling?  Okay.  Nothing baby related, just other stuff on the brain.  Sleeping like I never have in my entire life.  I'm quite enjoying it.  (Best to catch up now right?! LOL)  Boobs are finally becoming a little less sore.  No morning sickness, yet.  *crosses*fingers*  I'm a bit bloated.  I look fatter than normal bahaha! 

3. Anyone have an appointment this week?  Nope.  Dating/viability ultrasound booked for Dec 2nd.  EXCITED!

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms:  My best friend has been admitted to the hospital for pulmonary embolism, gallstones and pneumonia.  She's young and scared and I'm scared for her.  Happy that they finally admitted her though after 3 days of bullsh!t.  She's doing better.  I spent the evening with her last night in the hospital just shooting the sh!t and catching up.   It's tough though.  She has a degenerative disc disease that she was supposed to get a consultation for surgery on but that can't happen now for another 6 months because of the anticoagulants that she's on for the PE.  She's in so much pain!     

(I hope people will approach this next topic with understanding rather than judgment)
My MIL started at me about baby stuff.  I was trying to quit smoking before my BFP and am on the mend.  I'm currently on patches which the nurse practitioner says is okay.  She said obviously we don't want you on anything but we'd rather you not be smoking.  I take it one day at a time and keep reminding myself that it's important I stay away from them.  My husband is supportive but everyone else are just jerks about it.  Smoking is an addiction like any other, you can't just turn it off.  I am doing the best that I can. (I'm not smoking. Just making it through the cravings one at a time haha!)  MIL came at me with, "I can tell you about kids with health issues" (from smoking mothers) and "I'm sure you've looked it up."  I snapped at her and told her I didn't need to look it up to know that smoking was bad for my baby. *eye*roll*  I was soooo angry and I cried bahaha!   

5. GTKY: Who's your celebrity crush?  Tough call, so many hotties out there.  I'm really not a huge celebrity person although I did dream about Don from Mad Men the other night (currently binge-ing on the series).  That was interesting LOL!

@stokesm21 I'm sorry you're MIL is being insensitive right now. I think it's awesome that you're doing everything you can to quit!! I am not a smoker but I know breaking any addiction takes a lot of strength and courage, and it seems like you have both of those things!

Wow this is already a much more active thread than last week!! A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the TTGP ladies who got their BFPs yesterday!!!! So incredibly happy for you all!! 

 1. How far along are you? 5+4

 2. How are you feeling? Primary symptoms are still just exhaustion, sore boobs, and bloating. Lower back starting hurting this morning, too - is it too early for that? Definitely enjoying these pre-nausea days - so sorry for all of you in the worst of it! The other issue is a persistent twingy ache on my lower right which I think is one of my ovarian cysts acting up (it's a discomfort I recognize from the past and it started before getting KU). The doctor took some blood yesterday and I should get those results this morning - FX! 

 3. Anyone have an appointment this week? (see above) Depending on the results, I may get another draw tomorrow to see if the numbers are doubling appropriately. I understand we're ruling out ectopic, but I'd like my concerns about a cyst to be taken seriously and am frustrated. First appointment for an u/s (to hopefully see the heartbeat!) isn't until I'm close to 8 weeks on 12/1.

2. How are you feeling? Still can't seem to get over this pneumonia I've had since the end of October. I'm going to the doctor again today about it. I'm mad I had to take another day off work because everyday I take now is one less I get for maternity leave. I can't tell which of my symptoms are from fighting this pneumonia and which are pregnancy related which obviously has my pgal brain going nuts.

So nice to hear support!  Thank you!    I've tried to quit so many times.  I'm hoping this is the last.  I grew up with both my parents smoking around me (Dad has quit for I think over 10 years now, Mom's still at it) and I don't want that for my children.  It's such a horrible addiction and I wish I never started!  BUT ... the important thing is that I recognize that and I try.  Which is all anyone can ever do right?!     

She's taking a course and started telling me about how kids should be given regular cups after bottles (instead of sippies) because it helps "strengthen their lip muscles."  Ugh.  I can see how life is going to be like with her haha!  Generally, we are very close.  She lives far and yet his Mom is right here in the same town as us, but I have an amazing relationship with his step-Mom and a tolerable one with his Mom.  She was the last person I expected this crap from so I'm a bit disappointed lol!

@mrs35 I'm so sorry to hear you're still struggling with pneumonia! What an enormous pain, I'm so sorry. Hope the doctor can you give you something today to help you recover quickly - keep us posted!

@Pepper16 thanks. They couldn't do a chest X-ray since I'm pregnant. I got one the day before my bfp because the day before that I got a bfn but I'll worry about that another day.. She said my lungs sound like they are clearing up so now it is more of an upper respiratory infection. Since its viral there isn't much they can do so I'll just keep sucking on cough drops and going to bed early! Hopefully it all clears soon.

@Pepper16 - Thanks. I called the doctor's office and spoke with a nurse. She didn't seem worried at all but said she would let the doctor know in case the doctor wants to move up my u/s instead of waiting until Tuesday

2. How are you feeling? week 7 hit me like a freight train... the nausea is no fun. part of me wants to vomit because I think I will feel better after but also I hate vomiting.  I'm also exhausted and still moody (or so i've been told lol).  Also smells are killing me. My apartment has smelled like old cooked food FOREVER. Despite leaving the windows open, using a plug in AND spraying air freshener, taking out all the trash, making sure there are no dishes in the sink ever. I just can't get rid of this smell 

3. Anyone have an appointment this week? had one yesterday for some issues and got to see the little munchkin! looks like a blob but we could see and hear the heartbeat which was pretty surreal. I still have my actual 8 week appointment on Monday so we'll get to see our baby again!

4. Rants/Raves/Randoms: Thankfully the hard part of the work week is over. We have an office thanksgiving party tomorrow but I don't know if I'll be able to stomach the smells or if I'll want to eat everything lol. I can never tell which way it will go.

I'm just nervous about financials.  I am a teacher so my maternity leave will be completely unpaid if I choose to take the first semester off.  That's tough for us. If I knew this was coming, I would have saved a little more and stopped buying so much LuLaRoe

I have so many!!!!  But I do love Bradley Cooper... Yum and He's a PA boy which makes it even better!
I also love Jimmy Fallon.  I think he's one of the funniest people ever.  I want to be his best friend.
