Ethan turned 22 weeks yesterday. He has started to go up on his knees and rock a little bit. Holy cow our babies are going to be on the move real soon! I just recently got him a walker (the kind you sit in) and at first he could only go backwards but now he's getting the hang of it.
Jack LOVES his walker and would much rather be walking than in his swing. He's starting to try to sit up but only for small amounts of time. I can't believe our babies are getting so big!!
Bennett will be 21 weeks on Friday. I made a playlist for him at work yesterday, and the song Baby Mine came on, and I nearly started bawling. All I wanted to do was cuddle him when I came home yesterday, but got the "okay mom, put me down and let me play with my toys already." Sigh.
The top picture is him playing the piano on his piano gym. I started helping him sit up so he could play with his hands rather than kick them with his feet. He loves it. The bottom picture is what he wore for his Santa pics.
Miles is 5 months old!! He got his first taste of the cold weather this weekend at Mom and Dad's high school's regional football game. He was ok for a little, but not a fan by 3rd quarter when the sun went down. Miles can sit if he's willing for a minute or two and has enough balance to reach for toys above and to the side. So big!
Lillyana was 5 months yesterday. She still hates tummy time and has no desire to roll onto it from her back. She rolls onto her side and stops herself from going onto her tummy. I almost died on Monday because we had an incident. She feel off the couch and I couldn't catch her. It was only about 12 inches off the ground and she is fine but mommy is not. I feel like a complete failure and a horrible mother!

Don't feel bad, babies are surprisingly resilient for all of the care that we take over them. Miles falls onto his face regularly while practicing sitting up. My MIL also let me know that my DH took a tumble off the table onto the floor when he was in his bouncy seat as a baby because he was bouncing so hard. He turned out fine, so far at least

Looks like we may need to get the walker out of the basement! (I got one at my shower)
Savannah will be 21 weeks tomorrow- had to look at the calendar haha. We just put together her high chair so she gets used to it before we start solids in a couple of weeks. She can roll but has no interest and prefers to scooch herself around the mat to get what she wants, she can sit by herself for maybe 30 seconds at this point.
Nadia will be 5 months on Monday and I can't believe it! Little thing learned that she can roll and slide around on the hard wood floor. Can't take my eyes off her anymore

I had the same thing happen last week and I thought my husband was going to kill me when he found out (he was super upset). Luckily, Ethan's exersaucer was right next to the couch so that helped break his fall . Ethan was crying but stopped as soon as I picked him up.
Damien will be 5 months old tomorrow. He is working through his first cold at the moment. Hopefully it won't last too long. Today he decided he wanted to hold his bottle all by himself during a feeding. Just one more step towards his independence. Makes me a bit sad, some day he won't need me as.much or in the same way as he does now. We're flying to VA on Saturday to spend time with my family. I can't wait for Damien and my husband to experience their first US Thanksgiving!

Lily was 21 weeks on Tuesday and can't believe she's almost 5 months already. Took her to the beach for the first time and she loved it. Also sat up on her own for a few seconds so I could get a picture of her great outfit.
Late to the party because I went back to work this week and life has been a hectic exhausting struggle. Love baby snuggles after a long day. She is 24 weeks old now.

I have this same shirt but in different colors (orange/green) and it's not nearly as cute. I must have accidentally grabbed the boys version. Oops!!
