I began all day nausea at week 5 and now at week 10.5, it's still present. I take Dicleges 2-3 times per day depending on severity, and although it helps, I'm still nauseous all day. It's hard to get through my high school and college teaching schedules. I sometimes overeat (because I'm hungry) and end up vomiting at work or at home. I know I'm supposed to "graze" but I'm not a grazer. This is just awful. Besides that, I try to catch up on sleep during the weekend because I get home later (7pm) on most days and can't nap. Yesterday I spent most of my time sleeping in bed and today all of my back hurts. I guess from being a side and stomach sleeper. I just want to feel myself already. I hope I feel better next week at week 12.
My nausea has calmed down quite a bit, still have intense food and smell aversions though so not much eating is happening. The exhaustion is really doing me in this week. I'm 8w5d and just feeling like garbage. My face is a war zone, acne is just so obnoxious. My breasts are also less sore, I'm thinking that the placenta has started to take over hormones so my body is chilling out a bit. First ultrasound today hopefully, feeling super anxious but trying to be positive!
I woke up a total of four times last night. Three times were to pee. The fourth was because my stomach was rumbling and I was SO hungry - I went into the kitchen, sat on the floor and ate a banana.
Also, (TMI)I went from being constipated to having the complete opposite every other day since last Wednesday. If it's not one thing, it's another.
Nausea hasn't been every night like it was for a few weeks. I actually cooked dinner tonight with meat. I delt crampy today. Someone at work said my belly is getting big....I said I think I'm just getting fat. Too early to show first pregnancy right?
I'm still feeling naseous. I will be 9 weeks tomorrow. Sometimes I feel great and other times I gag all the way to work. My shoulders are all broke out and my boobs and nipples are so sore. Oh and not to mention the killer headaches. So I still have every symptom over here. It was like this until week 21 last time.
My nausea and gagging have seemed to calm down. I haven't thrown up at all but I have been randomly dry heaving and making sure to carry a bag around with me at all times just in case. Haven't needed to whip it out in a few days!
I still have an aversion to pretty much all foods, but especially carbs. Last night I almost cried because I just want to eat but every single thing in my house turned my stomach. I ended up going out and getting some chicken wings because, out of nowhere, I decided they sounded delicious - and they were!
The bitter/sour taste in my mouth hasn't been quite as bad the last few days but it's still there and it's still gross. I've been drinking lemon water to help mask it and also settle my stomach. It's been working.
My boobs have grown at least a cup size and they are soooooooo sore. They just keep getting bigger.....

I'm on team gag all the way to work. I called my MW this morning to ask what to do about the nausea, since I've lost almost 12 pounds in 2 and 1/2 weeks. While I'm overweight it's not a huge concern, but they said to eat every 1-2 hours, so, I'm trying.
The past few days the fatigue has hit HARD. Yesterday I went home from work early "sick" and slept from 1-4, then went to bed at 8:30 and slept until 7:30. Geesh!
The nausea seems to have subsided some and as of today (9w1d) food is starting to be attractive again. Seemingly overnight the hunger has kicked into high gear. I'm so hungry all the effing time. I'm a monster. Add the extreme exhaustion that has really picked up since Saturday and I'm just a fat, lazy, slob to the untrained eye. So I'm just sitting here, waiting, wishing, and hoping, for the second trimester to be better. I need to feel like Berg again...
I feel like I am actually ill with some kind of virus all the time. Nausea, fatigue, headaches. Ugh. I'm not sure if this pregnancy is actually worse than my first, or if it just feels that way because I'm chasing a toddler around? I know I never had headaches when I was pregnant with him. Work is very difficult. I am an ER nurse and work 12 hour shifts, a lot of which is on my feet. I'm struggling to get through it while feeling sick (and the smells of an ER...whew) especially with decreased caffeine. I feel dead on my feet. But, I am drinking more caffeine than I did with my first. I have as much as I can of that allowed amount. I know I'm whining. I'm sorry. Just, ugh. Can't wait for second tri!

Things are rough today. I can officially check off the "threw up at work" pregnancy milestone. Thankfully I saw it coming so I headed to the first floor where there is a single bathroom. Of course when I came out my boss was waiting for the elevator so I had to pretend to be normal while still all red faced and blotchy.
hahahah @merrylea I laughed so hard at your comment. Only because I can sympathize.
I have serious lightening boob this last week. Still lots of lower back pain. I busted out a new body pillow and slept on top of it and it seemed to relieve a lot of the pain. I also still have really bad constipation.
Other then that, I feel like a million bucks.... or not.
@merrylea this just made me laugh so much! I can't say it's happened to me yet but I'm always telling my husband he's gonna poop himself one of these days with his farting and nothing will bring me more pleasure in life than laughing at my husband pooping himself :-)
Still have the nausea but it's finally chilling out a bit The exhaustion is crushing (and now my house looks like a bomb went off but too tired to care) New one!! Peeling lips! This is just fan-freaking-tastic... Grrrr
@JackieMarie1989 I feel for you having a job where you are going going going all the time AND on your feet! I don't have that and I thank God for it!! You poor thing!

@merrylea your comment made me gag, so take it as a compliment! i am still not liking food but I started eating weird things now. Nachos for lunch, almost a whole pack of individual serving size chocolate pudding. I've started eating in the middle of the night. I'm used to random little pukes here and there now.
Vomiting has toned down quite a bit (10+4) it's no longer an everyday occurrence, but I still feel like I have a mild hangover, and I'm actually wanting to eat certain foods now. I haven't taken my nausea meds in awhile.
My neck, face, hairline, shoulders, and back are breaking out horribly.
This morning I made my usual breakfast of avocado toast with tomato (which I eat like 3 times a week). I took one bite, and I knew it wasn't going to happen. Almost gagged. Instead I ate sugary cereal and was hungry again in like an hour. Life is confusing right now.
I almost don't want to jinx it by writing it down, but I'm 11 weeks today and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I felt a lot less sick today and yesterday, hoping it stays that way.

I literally wonder this every single day. I THINK a lot of it, for me at least, is that the first time around, when I was tired, I just went to sleep hella early at night, or took a nap. That is no longer an option, because by the time I get home from work, deal with getting DD dinner, and a bath, and put to bed, and then eat my dinner and prep for the next day, even if I immediately get in my bed the maximum amount of sleep I can get is 7-7.5 hours. And I never ACTUALLY sleep that long, because sometimes my lower back hurts so much that it keeps me awake. Or I'm stuffy. Or DH is snoring. Or the cat is screaming at me. Or I just want to take 30 minutes to veg out in front of the TV for once. It's a whole thing.
I tried to nap while DD napped this weekend, and of course what is normally a 2-2.5 hour nap ended after only an hour. Both days. It's like she's already teaming up with her future sibling to make my life more difficult. Thanks, molars. WHEN WILL THE TEETHING END? Ugh, what a mess this is. I always thought I might want a third kid after this one, but I don't see how it would be physically possible for me to be pregnant again after this with TWO other kids at home. Just no.
@delujm0 that fucking asshole cat! I love it. Ours were on a rampage this morning. So much chasing and yelling about being chased, all at 3 and 4am. On days like this I ask DH to continually wake the asshole up whenever he falls asleep. Not that the cat cares, but I feel better about it.
@silliegirlie143 oh man the chapped lips!! Yes mine are so bad and it's still fall out. I can't imagine what they will be come January and February. I'm drinking so much water too!
@delujm0- I feel you on questioning whether I could do this another time, with two little kids. Being pregnant with a toddler at home is so different than being pregnant the first time around. We always wanted at least 3 kids, but I've told my husband if I'm not up for a third, he can have the big dog he's always dreamed of. lol Seems like a fair deal for me, right?!
Unisom plus B6 twice a day has helped tremendously the past 3 days!!! Although I haven't done anything except lay around until today. I'm babysitting and moving around a lot and I feel slightly worse than yesterday but nothing like a week ago! I actually want to eat past 4pm! I'm hoping I've found the combo of meds to keep the nausea away! Thankfully with being in school still I don't have any full days and always have time for a nap!
Pregnancy Brain: I made meatballs and pasta for dinner. I left the full pot of water on the stove for a good 10minutes before realizing I didn't turn the burner on. I turned it on, another five minutes went by before I realized I turned the wrong one on. By the time my water was boiling my meatballs and sauce were done cooking.
@berg DH and I wake up the asshole cat whenever we see him sleeping in the evenings hahaha. it makes us feel better and also we're like "maybe now he'll be too tired to annoy us at 3am?" doesn't really work...I mean I'm sure he naps all damn day while we're at work. sigh.
I started having right-sided back pain this morning on the way to work that stretches to my right hip. I'm really nervous that this is a bad sign, but I have my checkup tomorrow, so I'm trying to stay positive.
Hit an all time low this morning - I've been listening to classical music at work lately (because I had to stop taking my ADHD medicine once I became pregnant... which I've been on for over 10 years!). The Adele song "Someone like You" came on in violin and piano, and I started tearing up because it was so beautiful. I'm a basket case.
I started to put coconut body lotion on my toothbrush the other day. My pregnancy brain knew I needed to brush my teeth but for some reason looked at the bottle of lotion and that's what needed to go on my toothbrush. Woke up at 3am starving this morning. I refuse to eat in the middle of the night though. I forced myself back to sleep.
Do you ladies feel cramps/ligaments stretching every day or just randomly throughout the week? I find that I feel it most about 4 days into each week...i.e. at 6w4d, 7w4d, 8w4d, etc. So it's almost like baby is going through little growth spurts.
I've felt so much better nausea wise this week (9w). I've been more tired, but at least not feeling sick all day. I thought I was in the clear. Then came this morning (9w4d) when I puked at work again. Ugh, I just want to feel better.
@acrose0226 I feel it more some days vs others. But I've never thought to keep track to see if there is a pattern. I'll have to see if next week matches up with this week!
My morning sickness surged on Tuesday and I was so unwell! I was dizzy and felt feverish and had muscle pains... including stiff neck Now I am worried that it was listeriosis and not just morning sickness. Has anyone else had this ? Please tell me it's normal and not a sign of something sinister
I've had barely any nausea at all to the point where I thought this pregnancy was going to be a breeze (I had bad nausea, never actually got sick, with my DD) until the past few nights when I've been very nauseous. And then there's tonight where I almost threw up everywhere in the middle of a froyo place. My options were to either try to run to the back of the store in hopes of making it to the bathroom without puking the whole way down or running to the trash in the middle of the mall. Luckily I will powered that nastiness down and drank some water, but that was the closest call and definitely scared the crap out of me! I guess I've been taking my "evening nausea sickness" for granted! Didn't know this stuff could start at 8.5 weeks pregnant!
